Over the years, I have been a loyal customer, purchasing my wedding ring, a Mother's ring, and my daughter's birthstone ring from you. During my visit, I requested to have my rings resized and two small diamonds replaced. The gentleman who assisted me looked at the rings and stated it would be "too much" to have them sized. I've been doing business with Devon's jewelers for years. Most of my transactions have been done at the Modesto location. However, I have had transactions at the Stockton location as well. I am beyond frustrated at this point with the fact that I have spent thousands among thousands of dollars with this establishment and have not gotten one call for the list of Rolex's I've put my name down for. I read a reviews that show random customers coming in and getting a Rolex within a week or two. And here I am waiting over a year for no results! Not a single call! It's beyond frustrating when the reviews specifically say things along the lines of "being a new customer to Devon's". And... "came in and got a call a week or two later". I have been a loyal customer for 15 YEARS!! Extremely loyal. I guess my dedication, loyalty, and referrals to Devon's does not matter anymore. I usually have such a great visit here; today was somewhat of a disappointment. In the past everyone is usually friendly, helpful and always makes sure you get exactly what you need. My husband purchased my engagement ring here 4 years ago and we always drive from the Bay Area (1 hr 30 min) every few months to get our rings cleaned. Due to the pandemic my ring had not been inspected or cleaned for OVER a year. I came in today and a younger gentleman who I've not seen in the past took my ring to clean it. He returned in about 5 minutes and said it was clean. Upon inspection I realized he had only polished the exterior. I returned and explained to them that I drive all the way from the Bay Area to have this service done. The young lady that helped me the second time was very apologetic and made sure to thoroughly clean the entire ring. I intended to buy some earrings today but changed my mind after my experience.
