There are designer fabrics that are on sale for a big discount, which I really like. They have a nice outdoor fabric section, and up front there are $1/yard fabrics. I also got some really nice designer pillowcases for $5/set. The "Showroom" side has upholstery and designer fabrics and wallpapers in books and on the wall. They have pretty much every big designer name in there and it seems like they can do any type of window treatment or upholstery. They also have Hunter Douglas, with a ton of samples, which was really helpful to see in-person. Everyone who worked here was SO friendly to me. They really helped me find what I was looking for, and advised me on whether that fabric was right for that application, etc. I love this place and recommend it to all my friends!

I usually end up buying gifts, seasonal decorations, or little treats for myself like tea, antique trinkets, and candles. I find it hard to describe how the place is organized, but essentially every little alcove in the store represents a particular local craftsperson or entrepreneur. Some of my favorites include... * "Ma belle maison," which is a collection of interesting, reasonably priced antiques and decorations (some sourced directly from southwest France). I found a really cool antique pen tray and some North American duck stamped cards that I have framed above my desk. * "Backstory home" has the best seasonal candles I've ever found! The pumpkin bread candle actually smells like the real thing, and isn't too sweet or overpowering. I also bought their Taylor swift inspired candles for my cousin and she loved them! * Not sure if it's "Harbor cheese and provisions" or "Tono's Tabletop," but there is a fridge stocked with charcuterie, cheese, and nonalcoholic drinks that I've bought for picnics in springtime! Nest also has craft workshops that you can sign up for, and pop up shops that rotate pretty frequently. The clipper ship tea company is currently there, with a unique selection of loose leaf tea blends to choose from- like pumpkin chai! All in all, I love coming to nest. Our first kitchen set was from them and I was short two chairs from the set I bought for a moving in party. David and his Dad went upstate to get me the two chairs so I would have them in time. I remember saying wow what great and I have never for got what they did for me. That was 22 years ago. My second set I bought from them had chairs and after a few years needed to be redone and David advised us to restuff the chairs and recover them. They came back looking like brand new. Was very happy. Unfortunately just under 2 years the leather on the seats started to crack and I called David and he said to bring in the chair. After seeing the chair David honored redoing them and recommended restuffing them so they would come out right. Since we had a problem as always price wise he did right by us and backed his product and they came out beautiful. I believe most other stores would not of helped us after that time period and turned us away. I would highly recommend David and Dinette and Lighting to anyone. They stand for the word customer service. They also have beautiful furniture, fixtures and Tables. David is kind, honest and caring and there work is beautiful. You would not be disappointed at all. I purchased a kitchen table and chairs and also stools for my island at Christmas time. So far so…read moregood. The quality seems to be excellent. A couple of issues we encountered were 1) late delivery, which could be partially excused by a bad snow storm. However there was no phone call to tell of us of the delay. We only found out the day before the expected delivery date when we called to inquire about time of delivery. 2) When the table came in there was a missing piece which then caused an additional few week delay. 3) David (?) who I believe is the owner flies off the handle very quickly. We were able to manage him by being courteous but his ability to quickly go on the offensive is very off putting. I believe if you can deal with such a personality you will be happy with the final product as we are to date. But I also believe there are plenty of places to buy such products and understand that you may want to spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.
