This is not a real business, they run a scam. They will say the product you ordered has a lead time of several weeks. you will never see the delivery or your money. When I asked for a refund (which was over $5K), they ran into a "system error"'and could not process it. They offered a partial refund of $500 per day which I refused because this way o would not be able to report them as fraud. Reporting! read more

We had a floor lamp that hadn't worked for years and finally decided to call around to find someone to fix it. Lighting Gallery was nearby so we figured we could kill two birds with one stone, get the lamp fixed and look for a new dinning room light fixture. They have a beautiful showroom with a large selection and helpful people working there. We brought our floor lamp to be fixed, and even though they said it may take a week, they fixed it while we browsed. Another thing I like is that they are locally owned. If you buy from them you are helping a Long Island family, not some big corporation. For me that's a plus. We didn't decide on a fixture for our dining room yet, but when we do, we'll be stopping by Lighting Gallery. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I ordered a bunch of outdoor lights that were on sale. After placing the order and receiving confirmation that the order was placed I got an email days later saying there was a "glitch" in their system and the new price is 3 times the amount! ....Like what??? I could have ordered these items on a ton of sites for less. Even with the 20% inconvenience discount they still were way over priced!! Sales woman was unhelpful, rude, and had attitude. Had a much better experience at Elements in Carle Place. Lighting Gallery 326 E Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station, NY I have so many good things to say about Lighting Gallery and sales person Linda Walch. I went there with only the vaguest idea of what I wanted but I knew I could not spend a lot of money. The showroom is beautiful, much larger than it seems from outside and I was a little intimidated when I walked in - it looked so high-end. Linda quickly zeroed in on what would be good choices for me in my price range. She patiently went through scads of books and computer images with me until we came up with several great choices. She sent me home with printouts and told me to let her know if there were any others I liked on any website. We came up with beautiful, reasonable sconces, perfect for our small house. I never could have waded through so many lproducts without her and I would have never come up with such great choices. Linda is always patient and extremely knowledgeable and very very pleasant to work with. Right now she is helping me with ceiling fixtures. I will never use a different store or salesperson to buy lighting for my home. She is the best! read more

We had been looking for a something nice for kitchen island and found this place while we're driving around. Basically what I can say about this store is "too much options but unsuccessful customer relationships" After we decided what we want, sales guy -I dont know why bc it wasnt complicated- misunderstood us and tried to make us buy some extra stuff. When we said "this doesnt makes sence for us to buy these parts as an extra" owner came and we figured sales guy was thinking totally different thing than what we picked anyway after that the lady who is the owner was so nice to us she apologized for the misunderstanding and gave us a %10 discount + free delivery + light bulbs and said in 2 weeks we will call you before deliver it, we left the store as a happy couple. After 2 weeks we called them to asked where is our lights, they answered that "oh its here but I dont know when did it arrive and why nobody called you" (I guess if we didnt call we would be still waiting) so we asked when they can deliver the answer we got was not a good fit for us as a time so we asked if it can be little earlier during the they but they said "we deliver this as a courtesy, if you dont want to wait for another week you can come and pick up" Next morning my husband went the store got the lights but there was no light bulbs in the box! Unless this place is a front for some money laundering joint, I dont see how they stay in business. They have NO concept of customer service whatsoever. I came in looking for a replacement glass lamp shade, a cheaper alternative for something I could order online. The sales rep didnt even bother looking at the sample of what I was looking for, and dismissively told me to go search myself in the store. How about taking a minute to look and advise me whether they even had something similar on the floor?! If you want to get a snotty attitude and no help, definitely come visit. Or better take your business elsewhere where you can actually get help in locating an item you need, or shop online if you prefer self-service. read more

My partner and I had a great experience shopping here today for a light fixture for our dining area. Their showroom is huge--at least 6 rooms filled with outdoor and indoor lighting, everything from 11,000 dollar chandeliers to humble sconces. At times you feel like there is too much to look at all at once, so slow down and take a stroll. The price range and quality varies greatly so depending on your budget you'll definitely find something. The reps were very friendly and helpful, we worked with Linda and she couldn't be nicer--not pushy, not trying to up-sell us, just very personable, giving advice that was useful. We bought a floor model for a great price and were very happy with it--beautiful and within the budget. We will definitely return. read more

I went to TLG back in the beginning of December to pick out and order 3 large lighting fixtures needed for my remodel. I worked with Carrie. All went well and she was informed of the deadline we had on timing. We placed the order and left after being promised that all fixtures would arrive within 6 weeks. At the 7 week mark we called and were informed only one fixture had arrived. I was then emailed saying that the others were expected in another 8 weeks! When I called back I was told no one else had them and there was nothing they would do. They then said I could pick up the one fixture. I informed them I paid for delivery and they said they weren't going to come and deliver just one piece. I then spoke with Carrie again who was VERY rude and nasty. I asked to speak with her manager who then called me back after a few hours. During that time I googled the fixtures and found them on four different websites. I told the manager to cancel my order and refund my card (which they did after a few days). I ordered from build.com and got the EXACT SAME FIXTURES in under a week at almost half the price and free "freight" shipping. Don't bother going to this place. They have NO customer service skills and their service is not needed at all. They SHOULD have just ordered them online and delivered them to me themselves. Morons. read more

Purchased fixtures for our new condominium. Service was exceptional....until fixtures were installed. One pendant did not work and was returned to the store. Lighting Gallery returned fixture to the manufacturer (WAC Lighting) after all else failed. After many weeks of calls and visiting store, new pendant finally arrived. I paid my electrician to install the new pendant. Lighting Gallery was outstanding in playing blame game. Michael, the owner, informed me that manufacturer said it was an installation issue. Amazing how my experienced electrician installed first two pendants perfectly, but damaged third one (very unlikely). Bottom line, DO NOT RECOMMEND Lighting Gallery. Their customers are not a priority. I would give zero recommendation if YELP allowed. Lighting Gallery adamanltly denied any responsibility for this failure. read more

The selection of lights in the store itself is very vast. So, if you know what you're looking for or you have a specific item in mind, you should be fine going here. It's a lighting store and they have lights. If you're looking for any level of customer service, this is not the store for you. I went into this store 2 times at the end of July 2016 and the beginning of August 2016 looking for a chandelier and a few light fixtures for the exterior of my house. A woman named Danna started off as friendly and somewhat helpful. The first time I visited the store and I saw that they didn't have anything on display that I was interested in, she told me to look at their website to see more options. That isn't what I wanted. I wanted to go to the store and get customer service. I wanted a lighting professional to help me and guide me to a product they had that would suit my needs. Well, that didn't happen, but I went on the website anyway and I found a few fixtures. She gave me her card, told me to e-mail her. I did. I sent her a very detailed e-mail, with pictures of my project and links to fixtures on the store website. I showed her where I was struggling to make a selection and asked her if she could help me buckle down the final choices. Not to mention I prefaced the e-mail with confirming I was going to buy a $4,000 chandelier. No response from her. That e-mail was sent on August 5, 2016 at 11:18am. Yesterday, I went to Elements (a lighting store in Carle Place, NY) and a lovely woman spent time with me to find all of the fixtures I needed. So, I spent my $9,837.38 at Elements instead of this store. read more

I was very pleased with my purchases at The Lighting Gallery. I needed outdoor lighting, looked around, didn't see what I wanted so Linda went through every catalog to find the lights to complement my house. She listened carefully, understood that I wanted to carry the door pattern into the lighting pattern, and found the perfect outdoor lights. Barry was very helpful too. He had really helpful suggestions, having been in the business for a long time. I was so happy with their service & professionalism, I went back & bought my bedroom light/fan there too. Carrie was very understanding & helpful too. They have fixtures in all price ranges - sale to high-end. When my fixtures came in, I received a call - promptly. Their follow-thru was excellent.
