Although a long time customer I would not recommend using Dew drop Lawn sprinklers. My recent experience with them was terrible. For starters they said they would be at my house between 10-2pm They showed up at 2:45 with no apology that they were late (I rescheduled my day to be free between those hours. Scheduling a work call at 2pm which I had to jump off of to greet them). I had two different issues. One zone had a leaky head that was due to a value and another area with three values that were leaking. They "fixed" the area of the 3 values saying that the zone with the leaky heads were no longer leaking which was not true. The next day the leak was back even worse. They charged me $450 for this visit. A few days later I received a text from my neighbor...the area that they "fixed" was pouring out water...so much so that over half my yard was flooded with water. When I called the next morning they couldn't fit me in for another five days. On the day they were scheduled to come out they canceled. Rescheduling out another 5 days. This time they came out on time. After digging my yard up again they mention that they had over tightened a fitting cause the pipe to burst. After they fixed...I asked about the leaky heads. They needed to find the other area to fix the value which would stop the leaking heads but they didn't have the device to find the values and that I needed to contact them to set up a time for them to come out again. They actually called me the next morning with an estimate of over $600 to fix the value and that I needed to replace my control panel. The estimate of the control panel was $250...which I found on amazon for $100. Of course I was very unhappy with this estimate. The reception Ann mention that the owner was going to call me back the next day to review. The next day I received a message from Dew Drop but from Ann telling me the owner was not going to be calling and that I can either have them fix my issues or I can call them back to have my account deactivated. When I called back Ann informed me the owner wasn't calling. After I voiced my displeasure Ann hung up on me. This is a terrible way to run a business treating customer of 20+ years like crap. I highly recommend finding another sprinkler company Do not use Dew Drop!!!! read more

Just a little follow up from my last review of this company. I guess Steve decided he didn't like the negative review of his company, and decided to finally call me back. I had voiced concerns about another issue back on Friday morning, but he was obviously not quick to call back. He told me that he didn't believe my recount of events of my previous review and that his associate "Trey" has never had a negative thing said about him. I honestly never had a problem with Trey. I thought it was stupid to leave the extension cord draped across my stairs, but ok, it was an oversight. What gets me is that Steve calls and basically calls me a liar. Does he really think I have the time or interest in saving myself $110 for the visit? What I do have time for is writing reviews for nasty business owners who call and berate their EX-customers. I couldn't post enough positive remarks about this company. Two highlights would be: The company which we inherited with our house gave us a huge price to replace a pump and other equipment. Dew drop made a simple repair at a very low cost. Unbelievable how they could have taken advantage of us, but were honorable and did not. Dew Drop suggested another level of irrigation for our front lawn and it made an amazing change in our gardens. First illegally charged a credit card of mine without authorization and illegal retained prior payment info without my consent. The charged me $244 for a part that can be bout elsewhere for $90. A $154 premium. Claimed it was a commercial version, but confirmed by the manufacturer that they only manufacture one model. Owner is equally rude and discourteous. Buyer beware!!!! read more

Dew Drop serviced and repaired the system put in by a different company. Over the course of 12 years we found them to be very responsive. They serviced the system annually and did four repairs in the course of that time. The work was done well and they were remarkably quick to respond. The office staff and field team have both a familiar local feel and professionalism. We would recommend to other local home owners. read more

Been a long time customer. Only problem is appointments. It's their schedule or no schedule. Anyway leaking valve box repaired three times. And it's still leaking. Tried to get appointment but only on their terms. I guess I have to retire to get this fixed. I can't believe someone can jump in their car and fix this in a hour. No we need to schedule. Have been working with Dew Drop for over 20 years and have always experienced excellent service. They installed and serviced our first home and when we moved to our current home on a street of new construction18 years ago, we had them install our current system as well as referring them to most of our neighbors. They continue to service most of our street and we have been very satisfied with the work they do. They use quality products from Rainbird and other than an occasional broken sprinkler head, we have had no maintenance issues. Highly recommend. read more

horrible I left them 4 messages and did not get a returned call I texted the technician that was servicing the home before I purchased the it recently, for the previous owners and also told him I could not get through ( I thought the number was the owner of dew sprinkler. he seemed like a nice guy and messaged me back he had no control over scheduling) I finally got through today to their main number and they told me I should get another company since I was having communication problems with them. I don't write reviews but in this case their practice was so shady I will never do business with them again. I was given an estimate, btw with their "estimates" you will be billed at the high end, for $600 - $700 to go over my system and replace faulty heads as needed. They get to the last zone, only 3 heads on it, and can't figure out why there's no flow. Worker was in a rush to get home and said they need to come back. Company sent another estimate for $500 - $700 to come back!!! Fired. Don't do what I did and select them because we're basically neighbors and I wanted to keep the money local. They rescheduled my job and made sure my new landscape investment was properly irrigated and worked with us on every step of the process. I would not recommend using this lawn sprinkler service. Two years in a row I have had problems with them. They do not blow out the sprinkler system correctly.. In spring I have to deal with a huge bill and many problems. When reaching out to them they deny and blame it on whoever. Gardeners, roots or whoever they can blame and take NO responsibility. I have never had these problems in dealing with any other sprinkler company. Until they start taking responsibility for their mistakes which I don't see happening in the near future they do not deserve anyone's business. THIS IS THE WORST SPRINKLER COMPANY THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH IN 20 YEARS OF BEING A HOMEOWNER. At their technician's suggestion, I purchased a new sprinkler controller unit from Sprinkler Warehouse (SW) rather than directly from Dew Drop (he said it would save me money if I only paid them to do the installation). However, SW told me that they didn't have the model the technician recommended and sold me a more eco-friendly model. After installing the unit, the technician said he had to take the manual home to read up on how to program the controller. At the next visit he spent approximately 2 hours and still couldn't figure out how to successfully program the controller and left. In addition to expecting me to pay for the incomplete installation, Dew Drop suggested I pay them several hundred dollars more to replace my controller with one that they sold. Instead I called the manufacturer of the controller I purchased from SW and after 20 minutes on the phone with their technical support I programmed the controller myself and it works great! read more
