Our a/c went down twice this summer (most recently in August) and we have a home warranty. The first time we had an issue, we got referred to another company and we were less than excited, but this time we were referred to Hansen. They have been amazing! We ended up needing a new a/c. They were able to get us scheduled and have bent over backwards to make sure that we get up and running ASAP once the a/c is released by the home warranty company. When having a home warranty, we've run into other companies who have treated us like second-class citizens because they don't like dealing with it, but Hansen has given us first class service and has been very flexible in getting us scheduled around our busy work schedules and their busy August schedules. He kept telling me how nice it looked, and how he thought it wasn't very dirty. He was in and out of the house very quickly, and we had two sets of stairs, and several rooms to clean. The carpet didn't look much better when he was done, and two months later, it looks much worse that if we hadn't had them "cleaned" at all. I was hoping the "zero residue" would prevent this, but it turns out the only difference is that they use purified water. We are going to have to hire another company to come in and clean properly just to get the carpet to look as good as it did before Zerorez came out to "clean" it.

We had a raccoon tear a hole in our chimney. Water got in and pretty quickly wrecked the stack, the…read moreroof, and the flue. It was a huge job. But it was amazing how difficult it was to find someone to even give us a quote. The chimney is 'Pre-fab', so there's no actual stone or brick, just a flue surrounded by the stack. This is apparently a no-no in the chimney contractor world. Of the 15 companies I contacted, only three gave us a quote. The rest referred us to general contractors (which insurance wasn't allowing). And the ones who did come out wouldn't even quote a full replacement, they suggested we rip the stack off, roof over it and call it a day ($12K to not even have a working fireplace anymore!) Enter the saviors at Sleep Easy Chimney. They were the only company that gave me a quote for an actual rebuild at a reasonable price that insurance could get behind. The construction process was a breeze. Every guy on the crew was great. They were very communicative to any options we had (trim, stone type, stove, etc). They didn't even mind our enormous, spastic dog jumping on them at every opportunity. And we upgraded to a stove that looks amazing. Can't wait for winter so we can break this thing in! They were great in asking question before hand to best prepare such as where in the house in our machine located, to our knowledge when was the last clean, etc. They came out and were so helpful in teaching out about vents, how often they should be cleaned, signs of needing cleaning. Not only did they make sure everything was clean, they took the time to educate me to make sure I have the proper knowledge as a home owner. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very hesitant to get it done because of the experience i had last year with LAVEN ELECTRIC AND THAT EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE. I saw the laven reviews online and they were good but the owner would not come to the house and see the mistakes. I had to consult with a lawyer and was advised to take them to court even the kansas attorney general told me to take laven electric to court which was more expense i could not afford. i just took my losses on that one. he made a small compensation but not enough to fix the problems he left me with. April at Denney's restored my faith that there are actually some good companies around that will do good work and stand behind their work. April went above and beyond helping me arrange to have the work done and there were absolutely no problems in getting the work done correctly. April is a great asset to Denney's as i am sure is true of all of their employees.

Our family member utilized services for a flooding issue at his residence. While items were stored in a Serv Pro facility to remodel the basement from flooding, their facility caught fire damaging the contents/furniture of the home. Items were returned with smoke damage and asked to be removed. To date (over a year later), Serv Pro has yet to provide an inventory list of the smoke damaged items they had taken out of the home, how insurance costs were determined in light of not having an inventory list and multiple unanswered questions. Not to mention leadership lacks professionalism and runs a business with unethical business practices. After escalations to Serv Pro leadership, they also failed to resolve and engage. Let this be your warning to take your business elsewhere. Have never experienced a company take advantage of the consumer in their time of hardship.
