The nurse, Brittany, spoke to me in a way that felt patronizing rather than comforting. Dr. Edie Morgan spent only a few minutes with me, documented just 3 of the 20+ symptoms I shared, and dismissed my concerns by saying I was too young for perimenopause, even though I'm 42. Before my next appointment, I called to confirm the cost of an ultrasound. I was told it would be a $876 copay through my insurance, or a $300 cash price, which would be billed 30-60 days later. However, at the appointment, I was told I had to pay the $300 upfront. When I explained I had called ahead specifically to avoid this situation, the office manager, Sonda, denied ever telling me it would be billed later and insisted on immediate payment. During the ultrasound, when I asked a simple question, the technician told me she couldn't answer questions and do her job at the same time, and that I should be quiet. When my bloodwork results came in, I was told I had to schedule another appointment, with an additional $100 copay, just to receive them. I asked if they could be provided through a patient portal, but was told no. Later, my insurance company informed me that the visit I paid cash for had still been billed to them, and I should have only paid $100. My insurance rep contacted Sonda (with me on the line) to address the duplicate payment, request a refund of the $200 overcharge, and ask that my results be released. During that call, Sonda accused me of trying to get free medical care. My rep clarified that providing lab results via a portal is standard practice and should not require an additional appointment. Sonda eventually said I could pick up my results in person if I signed a waiver, adding, "good luck getting anyone to explain them to her." I then had to drive 40 minutes each way to their office just to retrieve my results only to find I could understand them myself within a few minutes without paying another $100. To top it off, Sonda later left me a voicemail saying she didn't understand why I was upset and claimed I had been treated with the utmost respect. That couldn't be further from the truth. I would strongly caution others before seeking care here.

I was seen 20 min before my appointment and her assistant Jennifer was comprehensive and professional and thoughtful setting me up well to visit with Price. Price was the consummate professional healthcare provider in an old-school sort of way. Calm, collected, compassionate, engaged, engageable, professional, considerate. She is a deep and patient listener and willing to share her own personal perspectives (with modesty) as she fine tunes her focus on me and my needs. (I deeply appreciate the easy-going, good-natured give and take.) She took her time to develop her understanding of my condition through conversation and physical exam to rule out stroke and other possibilities. Her easy-going, relationship-building approach was so reminiscent of how doctors used to behave--how doctors used to interact. I was, frankly, blown away by her humanity as I haven't seen that high a level of quality care for a long while. She sensed instantly that I am a collaborative sort of patient who shares in the health care examination process by providing broad and specific information and even propose hypotheses. As if right on cue, she took all those data and fielded them deftly, providing insights and perspectives and leading to a diagnosis that felt on target. Rarely do I find a doctor who is so openly willing to share in the healthcare process with their patients. Dr. Price is every bit that rare doctor who is exclusively there for her patients' well-being. As I departed, I asked if she was accepting new patients, and essentially she told me she was full. I am already set up to start with another doctor in the coming months (also very well-regarded), but will try to squeeze my way into be becoming Dr. Price's newest patient as she is essentially everything one could hope for in a PCP.

I called the clinic right after they opened at 8 am, but it went straight to voicemail. I left a message asking them to call me back. I called again later, but it went to voicemail once more. There is no option to reach a person directly. Finally, at 2 pm that day, I received a call back, but by then, I had already seen a doctor at another clinic. The billing department is just as frustrating. Calls go straight to voicemail, and they say it will take 48 hours to get back to me. Every time they call back, I am at work and miss their call. They only bother to call once and leave a voicemail asking me to call them back. I've been playing this game for two months. I provided my insurance in he clinic but instead, they billed me the full amount as if I didn't have insurance... I would not recommend this clinic. They do not care about their patients.

She is the most thorough medical practitioner that I have ever encountered in my 83 years! To properly and sensibly treat any patient, she works diligently to establish current base level health indicators from which to administer current treatment as well as levels to which future indicators can be compared. I do not think that there is a single aspect of my health story that Dr. Helen did not have knowledge of after my current levels had been established. The establishment of these levels gave her an awareness of two issues that I had discussed with past primary physicians which were just passed off as a results of aging. I would liked to have encountered her when I was in my twenties. I am looking forward to lowering my "health age" from 71to somewhere in the sixties.

Rather then listening to symptoms and providing a compassionate approach to treatment (ex. ordering tests, ruling out potential root causes, etc.), or alternatively referring her to someone who could truly help diagnose her, Helen apparently "has her own method of healthcare" which is essentially dismiss the patient's inputs, do NOT seek to attain additional relevant medical information, and brush off the patient and their family. Following an initial rather underwhelming initial visit related to these new symptoms, my father tried to provide additional medical history to help with a diagnosis. Helen told them that she would not order additional tests, despite their inputs, did not appreciate my father providing the additional information, and that their desperation in seeking her help was making her feel uncomfortable. My mother and father are in their 70s-80s. This was extremely shocking for both of them, and they felt betrayed, particularly given the history that my mom had with Helen. No care or compassion given, just dismissal. So much for the Physician's Oath... There are a lot of great options in Prescott for primary care. Do NOT go to Paslay Health Care.

When I called for clarification, I was bounced around, spoken to unprofessionally (a billing rep answered while chewing and saying he was "on lunch"), and never received a straight answer. I specifically asked for a detailed voicemail so I would have documentation, but instead I was told there was "no point " to leave one. Zachary even replied to my Google review stating they'd leave a detailed message, but that did not happen. For the record, the office has three of my voicemails with my phone number, and Zachary is welcome to contact me directly. All I have asked for is something in writing that explains why I was told I was in-network when I was not, and what exactly the $200 charge for a 20-minute consult covers. To date, I have received no transparency or professionalism. Patients deserve better.

We scheduled baseline testing and blood work, along with a follow-up appointment after he was supposed to speak with my other doctors. He never spoke with them, and the follow-up appointment was not canceled. I was still charged $150 for the second visit, despite being told, "I don't really have anything for you today." I also tried reaching out afterward to discuss the lack of results or any clear plan moving forward. Communication was very slow, and I came away feeling that there was little interest in continuing to work with me. While he may have some interesting ideas, my experience was that there were no meaningful solutions or actionable plan provided. Given the cost and my experience with the follow-up care, I would personally not recommend him. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision before spending their time and money.
