My husband and I moved to SCV two months ago -- somehow we ended up with German roaches in our apartment almost immediately! We have never had a bug infestation and keep our space quite clean, so we were worried they just lived in the apartment complex we moved to. Robert came out and immediately identified the type of roach, explained why it likely happened, and proceeded to promptly take care of our (disgusting) issue. Robert said that these types of roaches are common for people who recently moved or ordered new furniture that comes in boxes from warehouses (where they likely came from). I really hate bugs and having an infestation made me incredibly anxious -- but Robert was super kind and understanding with me every step of the way. He even spoke to me on the phone for 25 minutes after treating our apartment to explain everything to me and make me feel better about the situation. He was super kind, understanding, and patient. I'm currently writing this as Robert came back to our apartment, simply as a courtesy to spray again (so we could have better peace of mind). We moved into our newly built home about a year ago. Recently we had an ant infestation. I called my niece, Brittany Kussoy, who works for Dewey Pest Control. She recommended that I call Victor, the manager in the Santa Clarita office. Victor promptly called me back on Monday morning. We talked briefly and he told me that my technician, Adrian, would be over shortly. Adrian arrived and took the time to to explain the problems we were having and we walked around the property. Then he helped me move a few things. He began inside and explained the process. Then he went around the property and sprayed. When he came back in he thoroughly went over and explained the paperwork. He gave me my copies, his card, and told me to call if I see any more ants and he would be back the next day. We have had Robert Stephens as our Dewey Pest Control technician for over 13 years, both at our Canyon Country home and now at our Saugus residence. He is the best technician we could ever ask for and any time we have to call the office, every person who answers the phone is warm, friendly and provides impeccable customer service. I worked at a pest control company for about six years. I know sometimes people call in with their concerns but it's not often enough that customers call in to commend the pest control technician's wonderful service. I want to make sure we do this for Robert and the Dewey employees. Even when our neighborhood seems overrun with ants and other nasty pests, we never have issues. Robert comes every single month on his scheduled morning, provides the service and is friendly with our Golden Retriever even. He never fails to leave his door tag to let us know he was here too. On two occasions after heavy rains we had a problem with the water bugs coming into the garage and even a few made their way into the house. We contacted him and to our great appreciation, he replied promptly to say he would make a special trip to take care of the problem. And...he certainly did. They were all dead hours later and there were no further issues. We are so very grateful for Robert and for being customers of such a terrific pest control company. At $39/month, this service is absolutely worth it yet still reasonably priced too. We all have the peace of mind that comes from knowing if there ever is a problem, which is extremely rare, Robert will be there to "save the day". read more

Timmy is prompt, polite, always shows up with a smile, & engages in intelligent conversation. In addition to leaving a door tag, Timmy explains what he's doing (if he's doing something different like using a wet weather product) & he answers any questions I may have. If I need him to spray indoors, all I have do is ask. If later I see something & need him to come back & spray again, no problem. These guys rock! Can't say enough good things about my guy in particular--Robert. Mine is a tough property as it is 2 acres surrounded by wilderness on all but one side. I've seen everything from bobcats and groundhogs to ants and gnats. Robert is super knowledgeable and even helped us to understand which plants attract small animals which bring in the larger animals etc. Noticed groundhog holes one week and they were gone the next. STAY AWAY, unless you want to pay for service with NO RESULTS.We have a pool and get our share of water bugs in the summer. Our prior pest control company (who no longer services our area) would come out ONCE in the spring and spray our yard. After they sprayed no bugs at all. This company came out 3 times in a matter of a month or so and couldn't eradicate the problem. The third time the manager comes out and tells me they're going to use their winter blend! Well if the other blend didn't work to begin with, why use it again on the second visit??? Just for the record their winter mix didn't work well either. Im in property management and work with a lot of pest Control companies and I've never had an issue like this. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to use this company. To make matters worse they are trying to charge me for two service calls they never performed. I will report them to the BBB if they don't remove those charges. read more
