They offer changing rooms and wipes (if you forgot and wore deodorant like I did!). The machine looks much more modern than the one I used last year at a different location. The technician was so nice and professional in a setting where it is hard not to feel a bit exposed. Plenty of parking, easy to access location, I already rebooked here for next year's scan!

After a not-so fabulous experience the week before at University Orthopedic MRI Center, I was…read morereferred to the Imaging Institute for an open MRI. An incredibly clean, modern facility, equipped with couches, a flat screen television and plenty of setting in the waiting room, it's a stark contrast to what I had been anticipating. I was seen on time and was taken back to a maze of dressing rooms and lockers. After a brief wait (and one hilariously giganticous hospital robe later), I was brought into the imaging room by two friendly and accommodating technicians. A little nervous and totally terrified after the last MRI, they reassured me this would be completely different and made sure I was entirely comfortable before starting. The full procedure took roughly 50 minutes and I was able to choose music to listen to during the process. The MRI itself was definitely a lot more comfortable than the closed machine we had attempted previously: I will warn you however, if you're claustrophobic and pick the open MRI, definitely snag a blanket 'cause it was frigid up in there. My only issue was after being told there would be no copay by both the referring physician's office as well as the previous imaging center who set up the appointment for me, I was charged $140. Which.. surprised me (and not in the good way). When I inquired about this, the receptionist informed me that my insurance changed and no longer covered MRI's copay free (which was also kinda strange since the difference in appointments was just a two day weekend). Later when I called my insurance they insisted there was no copay and claimed they were sending me payment. Overall, still, a good experience and totally recommended for those needing imaging done.

I needed to get my bloodwork for my annual physical checkup. Melissa was really friendly and nice to me. I told her I hate needles and she made me very comfortable by telling me that she was going to use a baby needle and a butterfly to minimize any pain or discomfort. The procedure was easy and painless. I was very happy with it. The network of laboratories in MA and RI, offer full-service, stat/urgent testing, and most reference testing, as well as comprehensive anatomic pathology and cytology services. I fully recommend. They told me you are going to the hospital.... I would had rather had someone explain to me the results, the expectations, the options....not just.........you have to go to the hospital... I made the appointment over two weeks ago with the nurse/owner in charge off the program . She took my insurance info and scheduled my visit .Upon check in the front desk person said who are you ? I told her my name and that I was a new patient and today was my first visit . The girl at the front desk seemed frazzled and said we have another new patient in for this time but not you . I was shocked by both her demeanor and her lack of empathy . I had requested this Saturday off from work and decided to put my health first . I asked her what happened as that had all my info . I made a comment regarding the person who booked my appointment not being focused and she screamed that's my Mother your talking about . A kind woman stood up and told me that I could have her appointment but they then disclosed they did not have a rate yet from my insurance company . Another woman told the front desk person she was out of line as well. 'then out of the back room came two other girls dressed in scrubs. One of the girls apologized for the mix up and offered my another appointment that I could not attend . I told her she should be customer facing and she said that the girl at the desk was her sister and her Mother was the owner . I asked if I could speak to the Manager and they said it's our Mother so you can call her and gave me her card . The nicer of the two girls did offer me a 50 Percent discount on my welcome kit ! lol! An hour later the owner called me not to apologize for her daughters behavior but to tell me I made her daughter cry and leave work for the day . I told her that she needs to learn some customer service skills . And that I would not be rescheduling. She said she was going to call all the Medi Weightloss locations and tell them not to take me as a patient . Actually threatened me repeatedly . Please get your family under control before you engage with customers
