    The DFW terminal feels very 70s. There is plenty of fast food but otherwise offerings are limited. At least the gates are specious but DFW does not feel like a modern airport.

    It's funny that I just don't have enough information to properly write about this terminal. After a 3 1/2 hour very smooth flight we landed at DFW and taxied over to Terminal E. We got off the plan very quickly since we were in row two. From the plane we walked over to the restrooms which were located adjacent to the gate and then through the doors across the isle to baggage which came out as soon a s we walked in. From there we walked out the doors directly to the ride share where a car was waiting for us just seconds after my wife ordered it. What can I say? Everything flowed perfectly and I can only hope that it only works like this on all upcoming flights. The terminal is bright, clean and was easy to maneuver around in even though we were in our car 15 minutes after landing. KUDOs to the team at DFW Terminal E

    Flew out on Delta on the morning of a oncoming snowstorm. Got to experience how DFW handles snow/sleet weather including the process of de-icing. Now appreciate more the dedicated de-icing bays that exist in the cold weather airports like MSP, ORD, and DTW. Also learned that a larger aircraft can take up to 1000 gallons of fluid, and all of it runs off the airplane at takeoff. Also learned that one only has 15 minutes to takeoff after de-icing, otherwise you have to do the whole process over again.

    Came to Terminal E and parked the car in the parking lot garage, Friday morning to Sunday noon for $96! Twas quite expensive but convenient, indeed.

    Here at Terminal E you'll find gates for Spirit, Frontier, United, Delta and Alaska Airlines. About a dozen eateries, 2-4 coffee shops (Peats, IHOP, Starbucks). Lounging sofas along the walkways and bathroom every 100ft or so.

    We had 4 hour lay over in Dallas. We decided to eat at Bar Louie. Great decision. Food was great, great service, and great selection of music to enjoy our meal. Airport was clean, really large.

    Great terminal lots of food and drink choices even very early in the morning. If extra time lots to look at. Bathrooms are easy to find and clean and well serviced. Drinking fountains have a way to fill waterbottles which I appreciated.

    I always feel like terminal E is like the back alleys of DFW. Lots of stairs up and down depending on where your gate is. Admirals club hidden between flights of stairs on your way to the gates. Parking here is a little easier than the busier ones so that's a plus.

    It's a nice efficient terminal with self check in, baggage drop off area. They also have Clear, TSA Pre check all together and TSA security checks are pretty smooth. Inside the terminal lots of restaurants including chic fil a, sports bar, TGIF, Starbucks and few more. United and Delta lounges are available too. Lots of markings and signs available to guide passengers. Gates are clearly marked with standalone advertisement board.

    Too bad!... the terminal E is dirty, stinky, in desperate need of a "tear it down and build a new one" fast

    So far the experience hasn't been great today. We boarded our flight to China and had to disembark…read morebecause the engine wasn't working, leading the a/c to also malfunction. They are currently in the process of fixing the issue. Our flight was expected to leave at 10:40. We got stuck on the plane in the heat for 30 minutes. Now we are waiting for the issue to be fixed in order to embark once again. Tentatively the airline stated that we should be boarding now but we still are awaiting. The staff on our flight were all nice and accommodating. They were also very hot and obviously have nothing to do with the issue. Hopefully this problem is fixed as soon as possible. We have a wedding to get to so hopefully everything isn't delayed any further. On July 1st our flight got delayed an entire 24 hours. We were issued a $12 food voucher and a hotel voucher that was actually a motel with a foul odor. The shower was disgusting as well. We ended up booking a different hotel out of pocket. We were told that our flight was re-scheduled for 11:15 am for July 2nd and that there shouldn't be any more issues. We were also told on July 1st that we can go down to baggage claim if we wanted our luggage and that it would be available in 30 minutes to an hour. Once we got downstairs they said our luggage was not available for another 30 minutes to 5 hours. The staff at American Airlines baggage claim were extremely rude and dismissive. We never ended up getting our luggage because they did not have an actual estimate of how long it would take. Day 2 of our flight being delayed. We arrived at the airport and it seemed like things were looking up. We get to the gate and are awaiting for everyone to be able to board. As we're waiting we're told once again today that our flight will be delayed 45 minutes now because the plane is having the same issues with the a/c not functioning. They also stated that it was a different plane, how can a totally different plane have the same issue occurring. It does not make any sense. Now the airline is saying that the plane is out of service. They stated that the plane is coming from the hangar and it will take 30 minutes. Out of no where they say that we have to go from Gate D33 to Gate D65. Now they are saying that we have to wait 6 hours for our new flight with a new plane. So instead of our 24 hour delayed flight leaving at 11:15 am, we are now scheduled to leave at 6:00 pm according to the updates we have received. I am extremely disappointed and do not ever want to fly with American Airlines again. We are flying to China for a wedding and have had to cancel multiple reservations that were made in advance and it's also looking like we are not going to make the wedding. This is absurd and has affected all of us traveling emotionally and physically.
