We took him at his word after asking several questions to feel reassured. The trip was ruined when we arrived at our destination and was told the charges were $66. The miles were 23, plus one extra passenger and a start rate of $2.25. The mileage rate was $1.80 per mile. When I questioned the driver he said that was the rate. We could not see the meter it was turned away from us. We did not argue and paid the rate. Also added a $10 tip. We felt if he was right and we just had been wrong in our search of taxi rates, then we should tip. When I called the cab company the man said the rate should have been $50. He told me I had to talk with operations about the problem. When I called several times and left messages, there was no return call. I waited 8 hours. Renting a motorcycle from Kim and her awesome hangar on an airport couldn't have been more straight forward or painless... I called in the morning and had a beautiful Harley Davidson that afternoon, not to mention the necessary safety equipment included. Talking with Kim on the phone is like talking to someone you've known for years, very personable and down to earth. More like a friend, bizarre I know but she invited me on a ride with other customers and worked with me when I asked to extend. The only reason I could think of not renting with this establishment is if you are looking for the latest and greatest model of a particular bike. The selection here I would describe as a well maintained mix of semi-modern and classics cruisers.
