It has history. It was given to my daughter-in-law for her 16th birthday, and her parents drove it all the way from Kansas to San Diego to return it to her. As avid classic car lovers, it meant a lot to their family, and eventually it became part of ours too. For a few years it sat in our driveway, and I decided it deserved to be restored properly so it could be enjoyed again and continue its story. I was hoping that one day it would be passed down to my daughter-in-law's boys -- my grandsons. So I trusted a professional shop to restore it. Instead, the car sat there for 8 1/2 years, and I paid about $52,000, believing we were bringing this special car back to life. We finally got her back on March 1, 2025. Within weeks it started leaking fluids. On June 16, the driver's door latch failed and the door flew open while I was making a right turn. Then on July 1, the headliner fell down. From there, it's been one disappointment after another. After nearly nine years and $52,000, the car now has about 50 miles on it and is not even driveable. It's incredibly painful to realize that after all that time and money, the car appears to have been returned to us with substandard workmanship. What should have been a really cool classic car ready for the next generation is now something I can't even safely drive. All I wanted was to someday hand the keys to my grandsons and tell them the story of how this car traveled from Kansas to San Diego and stayed in their family. Instead, this is where we ended up. It came with a lifetime structural and paint warranty. This year (2026) the clearcoat began to fail and the red paint color was fading along the top. Valley Camper had since closed, and TE Motorsports is now the Snugtop dealer locally. To my pleasant surprise Jackie Ricardo, who sold me the camper originally, is now employed at TE still selling and servicing the same product line and likely helping with admin of the customizations TE does to other vehicles. Jackie willingly processed the warranty claim to Snugtop (now a part of the Leer Truck Accessories Group). Took a couple weeks, and Snugtop approved the warranty claim! She arranged a complete paint process with ACM Autobody and Paint also in Esco. That worked out very nicely all around. Thank you TE Motorsports and Jackie! Need a camper or repairs? Thankfully I had some duct tape fasten it in place till I could find out who would be able to fix it. My Mechanic at Allans wrench suggested T.E. Motorsports and I'm so grateful to have found them. Jackie was able to set up an appointment for me to repair it quickly. Snug top is no longer in business but found the parts on ebay and got longer screws than the kit provided, at Home Depot. Her mechanic was able to easily fix it for me. I'm so grateful I can use my camper shell again on my old Toyota truck. They are the best. Thank you!

However, after ordering an exhaust nothing went smoothly. They sent me the exhaust with parts missing (which was noted after install). When communicating with the advisor (Durwin), he would go weeks without an update, blaming it on one party or another. After over a month with my car not in use and a credit card dispute filed, they ended up asking for the part to shipped back to them for which they would charge me a 35% restocking fee. The worst customer service out of all the car parts stores I've worked with on my exotics.

Finally I dont know why hes gotta lie but saying they didn't remove the exhaust to swap the rear sway bar??? But somehow it also took 3 hours of labor??? He didn't want to take responsibility for my exhaust when he had the car in the shop, only after i left and told him it wasnt right, bullshit man. What an absolute horrible experience and a total waste of my time and money.

Ordered a fuel sending unit that was said to be in stock on Monday 5/07/18. Didn't receive any…read moreconfirmation from USPS that it had been shipped but my account was charged and I received a receipt from C&G saying that a shipping label had been created. Fast forward 3 days later. I call C&G to ask when my part would be shipped and they stated it had already been sent, Oh wait it's still sitting here on the outgoing rack. Fast forward to Friday. I call again and speak with a man on the phone saying it had been sent out on Monday and that it's USPS fault because they did not scan it. Oh wait it sent out Wednesday, actually it got sent out this morning. Fast forward to today. USPS just received the part at their facility meaning it had got picked up Friday. It's going to be around 9-10 days to receive a fuel sending unit from a shop that is an hour away from my house? Garbage customer service. First and last time shopping here.
