I am writing this review in comparison to an AutoZone experience I recently had in O'side (I don't live in O'side) that was a long dragged out process (30+ minutes) to get a brake light for my DIL's vehicle. They did not have the old school book to flip through to direct you to the bulb(s) you needed and I had to go to the counter for assistance. This day I went to this O'Reilly's to obtain a headlight bulb for my wife's vehicle after she showed up (driving solo) to my son and DIL's house, where I had already been, with the one eyed bandit Hyundai. What a difference in customer service from AutoZone! I had just arrived at the aisle where the bulbs are kept and was about to look in the old school book when an employee approached and asked if I needed any help. I told him what I was about to do and he said he could do it quicker at the counter. I reluctantly, after the recent AZ experience, agreed. Within 2 minutes he knew what bulb I needed, walked me back to the bulb display and handed me the bulb. I was in and out of O'Reilly's in less than 5 minutes! I wish I had obtained the employee's name to give him a shout out here, but I failed. read more

I highly recommend this business today I went in for what I thought was my alternator and had it tested by Antonio I believe his name, but long story short it wasn't my alternator upon testing. It was actually my battery which was the first initial guess needless to say he did an excellent job testing the car and also replaced it in the spot! I drove away really happy because I had just been late for work and had a bad morning. When my father gave me his old 2004 Ford Explorer, I realized that the interior was going to need a lot of protection in order to maintain its quality...after all, it was 14 years old when he gave it to me! I went to O'Reilly's for seat covers, a steering wheel cover, and some other odds and ends to keep the inside of my car organized. I picked up a spare set of jumper cables while I was there, as I discovered there were none when my father gave it to me (thanks, Dad!, haha!). There were a few staff on duty that day, and they were having a conversation amongst themselves that was pretty funny. After a while, I ended up getting pulled in (I'm usually a hopeless introvert, so these guys were incredibly nice and very funny - which drew me into the conversation). Within a few minutes, I was laughing and couldn't remember what I was even there to get! Thankfully, one of the workers pulled me back toward my mission, and I was able to find everything I was looking for with the assistance of that worker and two other gentlemen that were on duty that day. I spent much less than I had originally intended to, and there were no pressure sales tactics used by the workers to try and entice me to buy any more than I'd intended to when I first entered. The store is clean, well-lit, easy to find from the road, and it's not difficult to navigate at all when it comes to finding what you're looking for. As far as the staff go - their sense of humor and levity on the job made the shopping experience so much more fun for me...you can tell these guys really enjoy what they're doing. This place might not be as close to where I live as, say, AutoZone, but I think it's going to be my new shopping place for all things automotive. read more

Nothing like going to a store to pickup an online order and standing in front of the big "pickup order here" sign for about 15 minutes. I'm literally like the 4th customer in the store and can see my purchase in a basket in front of me while every customer after me that walks in gets helped and checked out. Raging inside but still being patient I stand in front of the sign and after every single person is cleared out of the store after not even being acknowledged of my existence the EMPLOYEE looks at me and sticks his hands out in a way where his palm is facing up that is like "wtf do you want". I almost snapped. Literally could have been a normal encounter if the employee acknowledged me and said "I will be right with you." And could have said afterwards "How can i help you?" I came into O'Reilly Auto Parts with questions on my Mustang's rear brakes as they were squealing and the caliper pins that I had bought the previous night were not seating right. Eric asked me several questions and emphasized on the fact that my Mustang had a performance package, that would need a different set of pins than the regular Mustang. He explained the difference between the 2 and was very thorough in explaining how to install them properly. He sold me the replacement parts, and I installed them in less than 20 minutes and they fit like a glove. The next day I brought the faulty pins that I had bought and the store manager credit me back the transaction without any questions, and she was very courteous about the whole ordeal! I would definitely recommend this store for all your car parts needs as the staff there are very knowledgeable and really go out of their way to make sure you get the right parts for your car. I love OReilly Auto Stores just because they are always staffed and much more attentive than the other competitor auto stores. I had to go buy a MAF sensor cleaner and as soon as I walked in there was plenty of happy employees in all sections of the aisle putting stock away. I couldnt locate the MAF cleaner and as soon as I was about to walk pass the first employee he immediately asked if I needed any assistance even though I could see he had a lot of inventory to put away. I thought that was pretty nice, just because other shops they would just ignore you until you asked for help. Luckily I had this guy helping me because I couldnt locate the cleaner. After that, I wasnt too sure which part was the sensor code and one of the guys came out and pointed it out immediately for me and even recommended a guy who specializes in mustangs in case my method did not work. Overall, I had a great experience and I will not shop anywhere else but OReilly's! And by the way, my car was fixed using my method lol read more

Well. I had to give them a 1 star. I went to get a bolt took the size I wanted. And when I asked them the girl at the counter said. I need make year and model of the car. I told her I just need it same size. If they can look in the back. She said. If you don't give me the year make and model I'm not gonna help you. I asked for the manager. And she said she was the manager. She was very rude. Very aggressive. Can't believe they can't provide a simple bolt. Only reason I went there. Is bcuz is the only place that it was next to the shop. But will never buy from them again. Horrible manager can't believe she can't even look for a bolt. Or why she works there of she don't want to do a simple job.
