    Did not want to show up since they are booked for 3 weeks. Poor customer service and will not even respond to a call in a proper manner.

Our house was still super cold (my husband and I are bougie when it comes to that), however our ac bill is around $700 a month. The sales man explained that this was a crazy high bill and that a new ac unit would fix it. We opted for a 34k top of the line unit. They were prompt in install (same day) and very professional. Now for the frustrating part. Our house will not cool below 74 degrees and that is w lights out, ovens off, and nothing running. Once you start cooking in the kitchen, turning lights on, etc. our ac is sitting at our around 76-78 degrees despite our thermostat being set to 70. We are in a constant sweat. We have reached out to this company multiple times and they send someone to look at it the same day (great, right?!) Wrong. They point their little gun at the air vents and tell us it's blowing at a cool 52 degrees but are unable to explain to us why our house isn't cooling. We've had two people come and do absolutely nothing for us. Needless to say, we are lividdddd that we spent 34k for a top of the line ac unit that will not keep our house cool. Look elsewhere for your needs. This is getting pretty ridiculous at this point and we are unsure of where to go from here.

We also became members of their VIP program that offers a free AC check and heater check in the spring and fall, respectively. Our first spring AC check was on April 1, 2026. We did not expect to have any repair costs because it was a brand new system, installed by JohnMoore. However, there are 4 filters that were replaced. Our bill totaled over $1500. We were shocked. I looked on Amazon prime for the cost of the exact filters that were installed. The cost was $200 ($50 per filter). I questioned the total of our invoice and asked for a breakout of what we were charged. For example, how much was charged for the installation of the filters and how much was charged for the filters themselves. The customer service representative I spoke with, Monet, did not have as friendly a customer attitude, compared to that of the sales team, service techs and the installation team. She informed me that she could not give me a breakout of what we were charged. However, she did give us a credit of approximately $459. So we paid ~$1,000 for the installation of four filters which cost a total of $200, making the service fee $800. Every other service company we deal with provides a breakout of labor and parts. This experience makes me question John Moore's service practices. I hope the owners of JohnMoore read this and make improvements in their customer service, including providing their customers with a breakout of costs.

When I asked why he said it was for THEIR inconvenience for dealing with landlord/tenants. I told the scheduler multiple times that this was a rented property from the first day I called and she said the visit was free. When I told the technician to run it up to his supervisor and call me back I never heard back. Absolute mess. Scheduling line and technicians play hot potato. Go somewhere else!

    It was New Year Adam (the day before New Year Eve) and I have just purchased a property. The…read moreexisting water heater was nearly 20-years old and needed replacement. I looked around and it looked like Nick's provided top quality work and service. I called and miraculously, I got an appointment for them to come take a look the very next day (no price quotes could be given over the phone; RED FLAG #1). NICK'S, I I've had a terrible experience with your company. I requested replacement of a 50 gallon water heater. The plumber came out the next day, which was New Year Eve. I was told it would be just over $5k to replace, I declined and was offered a reduction to $4,900.00. I accepted, expecting the service that comes with that type of fee. The unit arrived and was installed. In the process, the wall frame and sheetrock were damages. They also left circular scratches on my wood flooring. But it doesn't stop there. In the next day or two, I discovered that there was no hot water. I later looked at the unit and noticed that the unit is not a 50 gallon water heater. I called to return the unit, and take my money back. The struggle to terminate the service two days later (given the New Year holiday) was one of the largest pains I have encountered and some of the worst customer service I have experienced. I am a business owner and I would be absolutely appalled and embarrassed if my employees treated anyone the way I was treated by your company. I will never be a customer of Nick's Plumbing, and I will absolutely tell everyone about my experience. I wish I had read the reviews of your company prior to initiated horrible service. Ultimately, the threatening of legal action to recover the funds I paid is what it took to have them come out and remove the unit. My original unit was not returned, and I was left with two hoses connected together and no water-heater.
