Had a water leak in attic from hot water heater. Called Buddy's in morning and they were there by mid-afternoon, so I thought that was good. Dennis was heading up the job and had a young helper with him that did the work. Forget his name right now. It did not take long for the repair. Cutting the leaking fittings and install a brass male adapt so that the leak does not accuse again. Reconnected the cpvc and all is good. I was pleased with the repair. I thought the cost was a bit high for the amount of work done. I didn't like that they left the old cut out piece of pipe and elbow when they left. I think they should have taken those old parts with them and thrown them away. I find that many times when people work in the attic (heater, A/C etc) if there are old parts they always leave them up there. Never have understood that. I always though one should clean up after them selves. I have used Buddy's for many years when it was under different management, I will have to think about calling them in the future. Great family owned business! I called Buddy's plumbing to help with my garbage disposal that wasn't working and clogged sink. I was prepared to buy a new disposal and spend who knows how much to get both fixed. After the job started, with no mention beforehand, they began spelling out the limitations of their responsibilities in terms of if this or if that and tried to sell me extras to cover the "ifs", when I was pretty sure it was a sales tatic. Buddy's Plumbing is another staple in the TC area. They have been around forever and their work is always great and reasonably priced. My only tiny complaint is that they are often booked and it can be a little hard to get an appointment but they usually come through for me.
