The staff was somewhat friendly but the vibe is interesting and a bit odd and intense for a place that calls itself Dharma. The owner banged on my vehicle violently to look cool in front of his guest that were outside while I was in my van handling some computer work before I was about to come inside. I live in my van and he said I couldn't park there in front of his business for some reason. He said I was car camping when I was handling some work in my van. I was about to come inside but I guess not. Also even before that, the first time I walked in I noticed a person looking at me as if I was a bad guy for some reason. And I felt unwelcome. I just ignored it and I found out that he was the owner. He seemed to have territorial issues I assume. He was offensive in energy and rude to me the two times I came in but showed a façade to others as if he were a nice guy. I still don't understand why he chose me to bully. I felt publicly embarrassed from him as if he wanted some type of leverage to show others dominancy. I just wanted to come in and make some friends but I guess not. I stopped here for the first time the other day for Kratom and was pleasantly surprised. I got a double white with blood orange flavoring and sweetener and it was delicious! Felt it quickly too. This place has a toxic unwelcoming atmosphere. There are numerous venues in the Tampa Bay area that are comfortable places to unwind with friends after a hard day. Dharmas is not one of them. Avoid this place, especially with the crowd that infests the premises on Trivia Night Wednesdays. The management tolerates the worst on these nights. read more

I loved this place! My friend and I went for the first time tonight and had a blast. We felt very welcomed and felt that both of the workers were very knowledgeable. They told us all about the Kratom and Kava, which by the way I have a new love for Kratom, like the effects that it has on your body. We also had a house blend hookah flavor which was amazing! We got a cooled hose for it which made the smoke very cold and smooth. We will be definitely going back to try all the other flavors and different kinds of Kava and Kratom. read more

Horrible place. I ordered a shake and waitress brought out one without whipped cream. When I pointed it out she said sorry can't refund you. She says we ran out and because you took a sip I can't send it back. She didn't even offer to make me something else. It tasted horrible and I left dissatisfied. I took it home so I could have my friend taste it. Even my friend said the drink tasted like chocolate milk and not a shake. In the future I won't be coming back. There are better kratom bars that actually care about if you like the drink or not. I went to another one not too far. The other one offered to make another drink if I wasn't satisfied.
