Dr. Patadiya earned the outstanding reputation this office has. Don't assume every provider offers the same level of care. Based on our experience, they absolutely do not. The unnecessary perscription was refused. I do not trust the dentist at all!! All future appointments have been canceled at Southbridge Family Dental and we will drive to Watertown for Dr. Patadiya or find a different dentit that can be trusted. I feel bad for anyone else that expects greatness from here and recieves stress and poor care instead.

Dr. Leahey took over I think about a year or so ago. She has updated the office (carpeting, furniture, etc.) and now it's a modern dentist's office. Alaina was my Hygienist this morning. I started going here in June, By November, the dentist had racked up $2,000 worth of work. 150$ just to walk through the door, 170$ for xrays, 130$ for a cleaning, and then five cavities (2 that had to be done, the other 3 were existing and taken out to be re-done) THOSE cost me over 1500$. My dental insurance covers me for $1,000 a year, so you would think I would be able to keep track on what they were paying. Well, I tried. But every time I got a bill that looked astronomical, I was told by the beautiful people at the front desk of this place that the "billing system was down" and to ignore it, it would be rectified. Needless to say, by the time it was rectified, I paid $1,000 OUT OF POCKET for some fillings. I'm sorry, was something else supposed to come with all this money? Like a stiff drink after my appointment? I had paid some ahead of time, so my balance ended up being almost 750$. When I called the office to express my concern about how this happened, I was basically told it is what it is. I left, I got a new dentist, and they actually monitor insurance and don't rip you off. To Lisa, the manager- get some people skills- you clearly do not know how to work with clients in a professional matter.

Sue did my first cleaning…read morealmost 30 years ago, and even though I moved out of the area, I still come back for my dental cleanings (and visit my mother - What a good son!). With the exception of a dentist which was at the practice for a short time, I have always been treated very well. All of the hygienists are very sociable and take great pains (ha!) to ensure that you are comfortable and receive quality care. Dr. Audet is also very good, and I have never left the office upset with the service (other than one complication which I don't believe was the dentist's fault). All in all, I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a local dental office which takes the time to get to know, and actually care about, their patients.
