I backed my car (Honda Accord) into a pole and got a nasty dent in the rear bumper. The body shop told me I would have to replace the whole bumper and gave me an estimate in thousands. I had little hope for a nasty ding on the ridge of my rare door that stood out like a sore thumb. It felt like a permanent scar on my WRX STI but without the benefit of increased character, a vehicle I care dearly for. Hello All, I Just wanted to give a quick review on the service I got done today. So I was detailing my car a few days ago with my random orbital buffer. I was using a lamp to see the defects of the paint and before I knew it, it fell of the cabinet in the garage right on to my door panel.Great! I had just dented my own car. As a college kid, I wanted to spend as little as possible to get the dent removed but I wanted to get it done right. I've had plenty of dents removed but of all Diablo Dents of Pleasanton, Ca is by far the best. The best part though, is that he is super friendly and very affordable. The owner has years of experience and is very skilled. The dent is completely gone! Not a trace. I'm very meticulous with the cars that I have owned. I've had dents removed that have gone wrong where you can still see" high spots" on the panel. It just looks like a bunch of little raised spots and the panel and it really doesn't look good. I purchased a used car with several (almost a dozen) dents. I called a guy in San Jose who was supposedly the "Best of the Best". He didn't even have a shop, worked out of his car and carried his tools around in a paint bucket. Pass. I called another guy in San Jose with good reviews. He showed up at my house in a broken down import, with tools in a paint bucket. He removed most of the smaller, easier dents but told me there was one that couldn't be removed because of an access problem. I called another guy who has his own shop in nearby Campbell, but after inspecting the dent, told me that if he tried to get it out, it would leave a dark, linear mark in the paint.
