This is a 100% Tesla shop. They don't work on any other cars. We had what we thought was a small dent in our Model 3 front bumper. Our insurance company gave us a quote of what they would pay. When RJ removed the bumper he found the sections of the grille were broken and the attachments of the grille below the bumper were broken.There was more damage to the bumper. He invited us in to see the damage, explained it clearly, and worked with our insurance company to update the amount of work needed. After we got the original quote from the insurance company we did not need any further calls with our insurance company. He handled all of that. He has his own paint shop and matches Tesla colors according to their spec. He delivered exactly what he said he would do and precisely on time. Here's a tip, when a potential new customer comes in and is standing at your front desk, you see them, and you are on a call, bare minimum, you say to the person you are talking to, "hey can you hang on for just a second." Then you greet the customer and say, "Hi, I'm just wrapping up a call, I'll be with you in just a couple minutes. Make yourself comfortable." What you don't do is just continue to talk with no sense of urgency and like the guy waiting at your unmanned front desk will just wait indefinitely for you to finish at your leisure. I had a great experience here from start to finish. My bumper was ruined and the impact bar had to be replaced on my Tesla Model 3. I had already gone to 2 other places for quotes which were in the $4-$5k range. Last ditch effort, I went to Tesla Service center where they actually recommended I give Rj's a call. I ended up stopping by and Trevor took a look at the damage, ran the numbers and gave me a price at almost half the other 2 places. He even took a look at their quotes and pointed out all the areas they were ripping me off. For example, Tesla's don't need pre/post scans yet those were in my quotes. He also checked and made sure my sensors were working so those didn't need to be replaced either. I even spoke with RJ the owner and he was super knowledgeable and trustworthy. Sometimes you get treated differently being a young woman walking into auto body/mechanic shops. But these guys were totally professional and looked out for my best interest. They only use OEM parts and were able to get them ordered for me in short time frame. When everything arrived, they prepped it and then asked me to come in and get paint matched/installed. I brought my car in on a Monday and it was done by Friday morning. Washed and Detailed inside and out! Exceptional service. Fast turn-around. Friendly people. My car looked brand new! Tesla sent my 2023 Ultra Red Model X here for repairs since the folks at Fremont couldn't even come close to shipping a quality product out of the factory. I got to meet RJ and learn more about the process and complexity of the body work he was trying to fix. If it matters, RJ is the only person that I ever got to spoke with about the matter. Tesla's Service Managers (not the frontline advisors) and site GM refuse to discuss matters with customers. I guess the GM for the Tesla Service center prefers to sit on an ivory tower and just blame customers for having bad experiences. Anyway, back to RJ, he's awesome. Since he actually took the time to discuss the situation, he's showing the consumer empathy and care necessary to be a successful business operator. There's a reason RJ has so many positive reviews. Simply put, he cares. Contrast that with Tesla who DGAF about what happens, it's obvious to me customers should pick vendors that care. So, if you want quality paint/body work completed on your car, take your ride to RJ's for service. Having an owner who cares is the foundation of getting quality service and work completed on your vheicle. And just ditch Tesla. There's no reason for their terrible ivory-tower-DGAF attitude towards their customers. I have a Performance Model 3, Powerwalls, and Two EV wall connectors in my garage.
