I enjoyed being able to get a quote and schedule the visit with Mr Dent all via text messages. That worked well. Mr Dent arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly set to work on my car. The dent was a small one -- fingertip-sized -- and Mr Dent was able to completely eliminate it! I'd sent him an initial photo of the damage via text for a quote (the same image attached here) and he quoted 80% improvement was likely. Well, I call the repair 100%. It's great! Of course, there's still damage to the PPF, but that's the point: it saves the paint. I'll probably replace the PPF after a few more snags and dings on the protective layer. While Mr Dent was here, he noticed another minor door ding style dent on the front, driver-side fender. It was subtle, but clearly there once you knew to look for it. He ended up fixing that one as well for no extra cost. Impressive! Overall, working with Mr Dent went smoothly, resulted in a very nice repair to my car, and didn't break the bank. I hope I never get any more dents in my car. But, if I do, I'll have Mr Dent come over straight away!

When the technician came, it was around 7pm, he started working on the car, but since it was getting late and he had his kid with him that day, he told me that's the best he could do. I was going to leave a 1 star review. But they did pulled the dent out as much as they can. Eventually this year I found another dent repair person to finish their unfinished job. Wish they would have been a bit more transparent about their work, if they couldn't do it should have told me more upfront. For others who's looking for a dent repair service, these guys are not bad but I would really evaluate your dent first and if it's on the body line and they didn't have time to do it. Spend a bit more a go somewhere else. For the money I spent here I don't think I was getting the value I deserved, but this business had a few good reviews so I gave them a try.

Last summer, they painted the entire exterior from a dirty dull beige to a lively white with black trim. They patched up all the holes/cracks in the stucco, power washed, and taped EVERYTHING! At the end of each day, they cleaned up and put away the tools so the house was still accessible. It's crazy how different the house looks compared to before. I'm just loving it! Then over the winter, Chris' team returned because I wanted my garage refinished. I had 70s paneling and broken/crumbling dry wall. Considering how much time I spend in my garage, I can't believe I lived with such an eye sore for so many years. I gave Chris the hard task of wanting smooth walls, and if you know...that's a whole lot of sanding. His team came through and delivered! I love the new paint color on the walls, and no longer despise my garage. Oh, and also want to mention that he also patched up a bunch of holes inside my house (from electrical work I had done) and matched the existing wall texture and paint. I used yelp's "Get Pricing" quote tabs is collect some quotes. Most shops responded by telling me to come in, so they could give me an estimate. Not even a ball park figure. Um, why did I go to all the trouble of taking 5 clear shots of all the work I needed and including a concise description of exactly what I wanted to be done only to still have to come in for the quote? I mean why offer the quote option at all? So only a few places actually sent me quotes. Those are the only ones I engaged. Thankfully, one of them was Bay Colors Refinishing. Their quote of $3000 was the lowest, tied with another shop. The others were $3500 and above. I decided that it would be between Bay Colors and the other shop since they offered the same price and both averaged 5 star reviews. So I took it to both of them to get estimates based on actual visuals. Really, who has the time and trunkloads of gas money to go to all these other quote-less guys? I went to Bay Colors first. Kathy who handled communication was great. Always prompt and friendly. When I got there, the owner, Tri (like in tree) was under a car doing work, but soon stopped just so that I could get the estimate quickly. He said he would honor the quote of $3000. I was pleasantly surprised he was actually willing to straight honor the quote! I drove to the other place. The guy making the assessment quoted $4700! I almost laughed, but bit my tongue to be nice because at least he had let me use their restroom. As I was quietly and hastily side-stepping back to my car, he saw I was trying to escape, and quickly said, 'How much were you looking for?" Me: "Um, $3000..." Him: Silence. I would've burned rubber out if there, but didn't want to push the Honda's older engine. I also wanted to rush home to check the mirror to see if my smile was somehow seriously betraying a gullible-fool face. I mean how do you hike it up $1,700?? Even if you were thinking you were willing to come down half of that during bargaining, do you really believe I would accept $850 over the online quote?? Not to self: Adjust smile to look more intimidating and less moronic. (If you want to know the name of the shop, message me. I didn't actually use their services, so I don't feel like calling them out.) Another thing I also appreciated about Bay Colors is that after bringing my car in, Tri did find things that could have legitimately hiked up the price. But he said even with the extra work, he would stick to the quote. I got the sense that he truly wanted to help take care of me and my car, not just rack up a quick buck. So I chose Bay Colors and eventually dropped the car off there. When I was about to leave Kathy asked me how I was getting back home. I told her I would be BARTing back to Oakland. They ended up calling and paying for an uber to take me to the BART station! One of the best customer service experiences of any kind I've ever had. After a few days, I went to pick up the car and it looked great! I did notice that the hood still didn't completely close all the way as I had mentioned when I first brought it in and pointed it out to Tri again. He soon went to work on it quickly, and made sure it closed right. On top of that they had even meticulously vacuumed the interior! I'm really glad I chose Bay Colors. Even though it's in Hayward, and I had to BART down from Oakland, it was definitely worth the trip!

I reached out to a local Bay Color Refinishing Auto-body shop being all stressed and worried I was surprised by how easy it was to make an appointment. Kathy took the time to explain everything and assured me that the spoiler would be as it originally was. I would like to mention I did take it to another detailer right after the incident and wasn't happy of the quality of work. After some online research I spoke to Kathy over the phone she was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They took my car in, and within just five days, I had my car back with a brand-new spoiler that was perfectly matched to the original paint. Like WOW!!!! The quality of the repair was outstanding, and the service I received was excellent from start to finish. I'm especially grateful to Guy, the office team manager, for ensuring everything went smoothly and stress-free. Thank you again for the fantastic service! Five stars all the way! From estimate to final product, I would give Jason fifty stars if I had that option. Someone hit my Model X and left four visually annoying dents. A solid pine cone landed on my top causing a small dent. Jason responded immediately with a quote. Showed up 2 days later on time and repaired the dent. The pine cone left a couple of very tiny dents which he tried but couldn't remove. It looked great to me and I was very satisfied. Jason is highly skilled and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for dent removal. I used to have a bunch of dents in the hood of my BMW (2 of them were really bad, right on the body lines) and he knocked them out easily. I was worried about dent removal at first because my car has a satin wrap on it. We discussed this before hand and he was confident he could fix the dings without damaging the wrap. Got a dent on my Maserati a few weeks back, and apparently it was in a very difficult area to repair. I had two separate dent guys come out before Jason and try to repair it and they couldn't fix it all the way! I appreciated how honest he was in communicating his limits, and still exceeded my expectations on what he accomplished. I watched him work on my car the entire time because I was completely amazed. It was like watching someone do sculpting but on a car dent, and he treated my car with so much care. There were still small traces left because my dent was pretty deep with slight paint loss but the end result was amazing - I would have to search for the small "scratch marks" to pinpoint what he has done. He also gave a great referral for a paint shop afterwards. My dent would have cost me over 4 thousand dollars to fix but Daniel got it done for less than a quarter of that price. I hope I never need to call him again but I will next time that I'm in a bind.

I requested a quote for repair of a bunch of rock chips on the front fender of my car. We met, discussed the plan to fill in the chips with paint, and I understood it wasn't going to look perfect by any means, but seemed like the color would at least be a close match again. Literally 30 minutes later I got a call the job was done and came out to what looked like grayish White Out had been quickly dabbed onto each of the rock chips. I was kind of shocked at how it looked and asked what else could be done to which he basically replied "this color is really hard to match so I can sand/paint the whole front bumper, but it still won't match the rest of the car" so didn't really seem like a solution at all. A few things. I understand there are material costs of doing the job, but for 30 minutes of labor and a poor outcome I think $400 was nuts even though this was cheaper than other quotes. If the color of my car (stock Lexus pearl white) was too difficult to match, he could've just said so before putting paint on my car. Again, if the number of rock chips was too many to fix, I wish he would've just said that before beginning or after the first one. Lastly, I was just very annoyed with the offered "solution". Tony was a really nice guy and I do feel like I went into this with realistic expectations, but now my $60k car looks like it has grayish chicken pox all over the front and I'm pretty angry. Just want to leave this here so anyone else in a similar situation can take a look at the close-up and set appropriate expectations before proceeding.

He came out to me, carefully assessed the damage, and gave me an efficient and fair estimate. While working on my car, he also found a few additional issues I didn't even realize needed attention. He explained everything clearly and only added a very fair charge because I asked him to take care of those items too. Best of all, he completed everything in less than two hours. He repaired my trunk, fixed the front fender so it finally stays in place, and even touched up the paint. He also documented the repair and, after asking for my permission, filmed my reaction when I saw the finished result. I was honestly very impressed.
