Rina is such a great pharmacist! She has now been taking care of me for 5 years. She is the best pharmacist that I have ever had. The pharmacy has medication in stock and call fill prescriptions on the spot. The pharmacy also carries vitamins, first aid needs, snacks and so much more! I asked her to transfer other medications from CVS and it was sone without missing a beat. they are friendly and quick. Not sure who that lady is, but is always there and I always have some different problem picking up my prescription. Today I came by after more than a year after the pandemic and she charged me quadruple what I paid for in the past. Then I ask about my insurance and she already answers no before I even tell her, then she starts walking off saying "if you don't want it then don't take it, go find someone else" like wtf?!! Are you trying to not to have my business? She was a horrible experience, watch out for her shady prices she seems to pull out of thin air and not even offer insurance help. After changing health insurance l had a difficult time finding a pharmacy that had my medication in stock. However, after being recommended to this place I went to give it a try. Rina is extremely helpful and kind, not to mention FAST. I was in and out in less than five minutes, compared to the usual 15 minute wait at chain pharmacies. Also if you need any medication that she does not have in stock, she will place an order for you and it'll be at her pharmacy in about two days. I will no longer be going to any chain pharmacies. No more dealing with long waiting, ridiculous policies, or dirty looks from the pharmacists or techs. read more

Came to St Joseph Urgent Care cause I needed a Z-PAC for this virus that attacked me and discovered there's a pharmacy in-house! I don't have to make another stop to pick up meds and there's no wait here! Have your prescriptions filled at this location to avoid crazy parking lot traffic (there's a parking structure here), lines and no crowds either! I was in and out in ten minutes and it was peaceful and quiet, no stress of the holiday season rush. read more

I have a pretty ridiculous slew of health problems that my doctors are trying to solve and I'm in need of comprehensive care, from the physicians to physical therapy and also the pharmacy, I am a very complicated/complex patient. My case is unlike most people in their 20s and it really gets me down on myself. Some days I can't move from my bed, and others I can do normal human things! I've had more normal human days thanks to the medication/lifestyle management prescribed by my doctor and managed by Diacare. I've faced major gender and disability discrimination in most chain pharmacies, and leave feeling even worse than I already do on a daily basis. I've noticed that most pharmacies are extremely rude and don't care about you as a person-- you're just a number to them. However, Diacare is completely unlike that. I cannot say enough good things about Rina and Brian. Prove to them that you are a responsible client and they will be another great advocate in your health journey. They are both extremely diligent with their work. I've never been shorted (like I have at chain pharmacies quite a few times) on medications, everything is very clean inside, and they are sure to make my experience feel personal. I've gotten to know both of them because I'm in here 2-3 times a month, and both of them are empathetic, kind pharmacists who seem to actually want their clients to get better. Instead of writing me off as too complicated, we've just established a good, trusting relationship where I am happy to give them my case notes from my physicians as well as updating them on what's going on. They manage my medication extremely well and seriously go out of their way to make my already difficult life so much easier. I hope that one day I will not have to be in the pharmacy as much as I am now, but I will look back at this insane blip in my health journey and remember Rina and Brian for lending a supportive, caring hand during the worst time of my life. Lastly, their prices are great for vitamins and products as well as medications alike. PS: Their elderberry/echinacea vitamins from Mr. Gummy have literally kept my immune system better than almost anything! read more

I found her extremely helpful and she worked with my doctor and the insurance company in order to get my medication authorized. This is a different experience than going to a big chain pharmacy. Although they are nice they have talked me into getting my prescription broken there when my insurance is not contracted with them. She swore they have submitted the paperwork etc. my insurance said they have submitted nothing. So I have been paid hundreds of dollars out of pocket to these people when I could just go to Walgreens. They think they're slick. Bad business. Also they would always tell me they did not have generic, after throwing a fit, all of the sudden generic would appear. They are money hungry and will do anything to not have to wait to insurance companies to reimburse them. read more

Still sucks. When I tried to transfer to cvs the pharmacist for diacare (raj?) or something like that. Wouldn't let me. She insisted I stay and that she had all my medications ready. The 2nd time I tried to transfer they left Walgreens on hold for 30min before hanging up and making me go another day. The next day I get a bunch of calls from discreet confirming that I am transferring (which is unnecessary) and I finally got to transfer. Don't waste your time. read more

Went to Urgent Care at St. Josephs, for some antibiotic cream and they sent it to the pharmacy within the plaza. I got lost trying to find the place and tried to call them to see where they were next to. I called and some lady picked up and asked if could be put on hold... I was on hold for 35 minutes. I was walking aimless around the plaza trying to find the place until low and behold she had time to pick up my call... I told her my doctor sent my prescription there and without asking for even my name or date of birth (something the pharmacy always asks) they said be ready in 15 mins and hung up without letting me have a word in. So I am lost. I can't find this place. I was treated like cattle by this pharmacy from the twilight zone. I went back to my doctor got a paper prescription and filled it at my regular pharmacy. it was out of the way, I really wish i could have just filled it here, but the phone service/etiquette at least was worst than walmart where they tell you "where else you gonna go?". Turned me off. I hope they this review will give them a wake up call because I like supporting small businesses. I wonder if they have a special deal or kick something back at st josephs urgent care... Cuz the PA was pushing this place. Anyhow, hope you improve your service and post some signs up so people can find you and have a enjoyable experience. read more

This place is so small and lacks items ...it was really like being in a third world country where so many items were so old on the shelf. I was the only customer and it took almost 30 minutes to get my prescripotion filled by my doctor upstairs. The pharacist was not really nice and seemed like English was their second language (difficult for me to understand) for both employees. Best pharmacy I have ever been to!!! Bryan and Rina are always so nice and helpful. I live in Irvine but I come here because the customer service is above and beyond. I used to to go a "chain" pharmacy and always felt rushed and that they were annoyed if any insurance or issues came up but Rina and Bryan always make you a priority and help in anyway they can!!
