The whole front office was clean. I met the PA. Andy Bui who also was very kind and very thorough. I would definitely go back there from now on instead of the other Urgent Care I was going to that took hours to get into and they weren't very friendly. ON top of that, why are we being charged additional money when we paid for all of it at the time the services were rendered. If there was an additional payment to be made, don't you think it would've been paid at the time we paid it?! Mind you, this wasn't a separate bill they were charging us for. This was stated as a "partial payment" of the original bill. They stated the total bill was for $700 something when we were told a much lesser amount. Of course, we called their billing department to dispute this. AND OF COURSE, they found themselves to be in the right so it was either pay the difference they said we owed or get sent to collections. This place is a complete rip off for the service they provide, they are dishonest in their practices, and I'm surprised they are even still in business. I guess when you steal from your patience due to your dishonesty, it pays the bills.

Accurate rating description for two starts is "could've been better." This place only has PA/NP…read moreand no MD on site. They have the capability to draw blood and send to lab for stat orders. Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. Even when they're busy, they keep things moving smoothly without making you feel rushed. Dr. L. Tran is wonderful -- kind, attentive, and has excellent bedside manners. Not only did they have me waiting for hours on a slow day but all they did was prescribe me some saline wash. I made it clear that I needed an eye prescription for this corneal ulcer I deal with once a year......I brought my own teardrop prescription and asked if i may he prescribed the same thing or something similar, and the provider had approved. Suddenly, as I make my way to the CVS, I came to realize that she prescribed me a saline wash?!!! Why on earth would I spend 3hours of my day and money for a saline wash??? This experience was a huge laugh at my face!
