Freestanding locations are more inexpensive, especially if you have not met your deductible or you need to pay it cash. I was able to get into this location faster than the other ones. They were very nice starting from the reception desk, and next I was taken into the back and the nurse was very kind. The MRI technician was also very explanatory and kind and friendly. They have new technology where the MRI only took eight minutes, which is a huge plus. The Care was exceptional, and I would definitely choose the facility again for any further imaging. My husband had used the facility for an ultrasound and he was also very happy with it. They also take walk-ins I believe for certain imaging. Their pricing is much better than most places and I believe I will get my results in one day on my portal. The facility was also very clean. It is located in the building of an urgent care. The directions on MyChart were flat wrong. (How is it on the "north" side? Signage was terrible. Buzzcut at cardio was gruff and acted like I was at fault for not having been given directions before the procedure. With some exceptions most employees were friendly, but confused. Your merger was badly handled, your employees are still in the dark about many things. My Cardiologist's office staff, (not the professionals) is mostly incompetent, too many patients and some poorly trained employees with attitudes.

At the the first place I went to it was so darn painful it made me nervous about having that done again. At KCS&C restored my faith again. Dr Megan Newland is my Dr but I had a spot that needed attention so I saw Dr Austin so I could see someone asap. He did my biopsy SO well. I'm not nervous about having things done anymore. Just a couple of days later, before I even had time to call them, they called me and informed me they had had a couple of cancellations, and asked me if I would like to come in for my appointment. What a blessing! I was offered two different appointments with Dr. Rupp. I chose the afternoon appointment. I went a little bit early, as instructed, to fill out the paperwork, since I was a new patient. It was very straightforward and simple. I got right in within a few minutes, the nurse went over my medications and asked what questions I had for the doctor, and then just a couple of minutes later he came in to do my examination. He was very thorough, and answered all my questions. I was in and out of the office in 30 to 40 minutes with a new appointment for next year. If only all doctors and medical offices ran their operations this smoothly! What a dream that would be. Everyone I encountered was very professional and courteous, not to mention happy. That starts at the top. Dr. Rupp has a wonderful countenance and an incredible attitude. Clearly it has rubbed off on his staff. I am very pleased to recommend this office. My wife will be seeing a PA here for her dermatology needs as well.

I am now a patient of Dr. Stacy Shutz in dermatology and this review reflects how I feel about her and about the office visits to this location. I have been treated with utmost respect on both occasions. The first time it did seem like I spent a great deal of time filling out paper work - though everything is actually done on an ipad. This time, I was able to do all the sign in work online before arriving at the office and that seemed to speed things up to a remarkable degree. I no sooner sat down after announcing my presence than there I was being called back to the exam room. Impressive in a room filled with folks waiting to be seen. The office site is large and very clean. There are tons of advertising materials everywhere but no one tried to sell me anything. This is my first go around with pre-cancerous spots and with all things dermatology. Dr. Shutz took time to explain what the different terminologies meant and what treatment would be best. When I expressed a concern about disfigurement that might result from treatment of the place on my face, she took me through exactly what would happen and what my face would look like during the healing process. I really appreciated her taking time to be thorough in this and not making me feel like an dummy or an annoyance. I am extremely pleased with the care I am receiving and now can highly recommend Midwest Medical.
