Thank you for your response, but your statement does not accurately reflect our experience in the program. My husband and I both attended, and after waiting several months with no clinical placement provided, my husband was forced to find his own clinical site in order to begin clinicals. We have documentation and proof of this. Because of that, it is completely inaccurate to imply that your program properly provided clinical placement support in our case. It is also false to suggest that the issue was a lack of participation or engagement on our end. The real issues were poor organization, lack of communication, delayed clinical placement, and inadequate preparation for the certification exam. Those are the reasons for my review. Attempting to discredit my feedback because it happened two years ago does not change what happened. Using the guidelines we got through out our classes really made the exam easy to understand. Mr. Michael is a great instructor with years of experience. He is straight to the point and really gives you real life scenarios you would deal with in the field. This review is being made for my boyfriend who attended school here. We found this school online and chose it because it was decently priced and they worked/communicated well with us about the program/what to expect/the cost/payment plans/etc. My bf, Jacob, has been out of school for a while now, so going back to school was definitely a big transition for him. He wasn't sure what he wanted to do, but since i worked in the medical field already, i suggested for him to try dialysis tech out, it would be a good step/great exposure into the medical field, that wouldn't take long for him to finish as well. Michael his instructor has made the entire journey for him smooth. He was very helpful and well informative on all the material he was teaching. I've over heard a couple of his lecture via zoom, and you can tell that Michael is passionate about what he does and loves to share it with his class. Jacob enjoyed school so much, despite being very nervous to start again. It was a great learning environment and he's met a bunch of supportive people here & classmates as well. Michael has went above and beyond for Jacob and i appreciate it so much. From his lectures, to getting him a job to work at while awaiting for him to get his first dialysis tech job. I wish I would have attended his school rather than wasting my time and money at the National Polytechnic College. Before going to the school "Dialysis Education Services", (for review) I went to a school called the "National Polytechnic College". In my experience, this school I used to go to was not beneficial towards my time and my studies. During class, I had a total of three teachers and one dialysis machine that wasn't even working properly. All of the teachers there all taught different things at once, it was inauspicious. I couldn't understand what they were trying to teach me and it was an unfavorable experience. If I were you, I wouldn't even attempt going into the national polytechnic college in Commerce CA, I'd rather go to the "Dialysis Education Services" school because it was straightforward and improved and strengthened my knowledge. read more

On the 3rd or last month of the course, the professors will take the time to review with you and ask questions that could possibly be on the exam.
