I found out today that I passed the NCLEX I'm beyond thankful to ACC and to the amazing instructors who helped me on this journey especially Mr. Rommel. He truly pushes you to learn, is incredibly patient, and always finds ways to motivate you to succeed. While I was taking the NCLEX, I could still hear Mr. Rommel's voice in my head, asking about interventions for procedures and 10 signs and symptoms Thank you also to Mr. Armando for guiding us through the entire VATI, EXIT, and NCLEX process. He's very straightforward and tells you exactly what you need to do in order to succeed. To the wonderful clinical instructors-- Mr. Jojo, Ms. Jechel, Ms. Nahid, and Ms. Thao-- thank you so much. I'm truly grateful to have completed my clinicals with such dedicated and supportive mentors I recommend ACC! They genuinely prepare you for the NCLEX and are committed to helping you succeed. Thank you to all the instructors, because of your support, I am now a licensed nurse! ‍

I was nervous at first because I hadn't been in a school setting for almost 20 years, but the instructor Mr. Baybay was excellent. I work part-time as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility and felt fully prepared to do my job thanks to the instruction I've received at NDCI. I compared tuition prices with other schools and feel that the prices are reasonable. They also have installment plans available. In fact, I'll be returning soon to take a class to become a Restorative Nurse Aide (RNA). They also have an LVN program (Part-time and Full-time). I would take that class as well, but I'm working towards becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) instead. The support staff are helpful in answering questions and assisting with the enrollment process. I highly recommend this school if you're looking to further your career in healthcare.

If you ask questions or request feedback on your work, don't expect much of a response. The program is not worth taking out student loans for if you're hoping to learn medical coding. It was also extremely difficult to obtain a valid copy of my CPR certification for future employment. My diploma holder arrived empty until the student loan is paid in full, which I find odd because people who graduated with masters and doctoral degrees get theirs in the mail in frames. Also completed tests were never returned with corrections or feedback, making it impossible to learn from mistakes. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this school to prospective students.

One of the biggest reasons I enrolled was because of the school's promises regarding career support and help with employment after graduation--but that support was not there when I needed it. In fact, due to poor communication and lack of follow-through, I lost out on a job opportunity. Career services was often rude and unhelpful, and when problems were brought up, they were rarely addressed or taken seriously. I constantly felt like I had to chase answers instead of receiving support as a student. The most frustrating part was near graduation. I was told my graduation would be delayed because of an alleged unpaid balance--even though I had made all my payments, including my cap and gown, with no missed payments whatsoever. I almost missed my graduation entirely because no one contacted me to let me know there was supposedly an issue. The only reason it was caught was because I called them myself. For a school that claims to support its students, my experience was the complete opposite. This process caused unnecessary stress, frustration, and disappointment. Students deserve better communication, accountability, and support than what I received here.

This review is for the RN IV refresher course…read more It's not worth it for $205. There are limited mannequins, outdated supplies, and the class was overpacked. There were not enough chairs or even tables to sit at. The class instructor Jayne does a good job at breaking everything down and making it simple to understand the basic concept of different IV fluids, indications, complications, etc. I would say this class is better for LVNs or new grads. My constructive criticism is regarding her terrible attitude towards some of her students. She even mocked a student in front of the class asking a question that was completely valid. She repeated the question back to him and just started laughing in front of everyone. Then, when it was my turn to insert an IV, I got blood return and successfully inserted the IV despite being incorrectly told that I wasn't in the vein. Luckily I didn't listen, and proceeded to float the catheter into the vein. At this point, turn around to hear Jayne from across the room yelling at me "NO, NO, NO, NO!!!".... to which I replied, "um, what?" She then proceeded to yell at me for placing pressure above the insertion site while reaching for the connection tubing, so that blood wouldn't squirt out. I had no problem with telling her that I would appreciate legitimate feedback, not her yelling "no" multiple times at me from across the room. I also could have done without the lengthy tangents she went on, which I felt took away from the content of the class. She ranted about her kids and their IQ (of all things) for a solid 10 minutes, at which point I looked around and noticed that half of the class was on their phones or nodding off from boredom. Do yourself a favor and go spend your $205 at a facility with updated equipment, enough seats, and an instructor who respects their students and isn't burned out yawning throughout the entire class. I genuinely don't understand how this page has so many good reviews about her, unless she has really gone down hill in the last few months, or just had a really terrible night's sleep. Regardless, I will not be returning.
