The OTA program truly pushed me to grow, both academically and professionally. The curriculum is fast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. My niece recently completed her Medical Assistant program. Unfortunately, she was not hired by the site where she completed her internship because they informed her on her first day that they were not hiring anyone. The school told her they would help her find a job, but they have not provided much assistance. They mainly send her Indeed job links, which is something she has already been doing on her own since completing her internship. My niece has experience and has been actively applying for jobs, yet it feels like they are making it seem as though she is not doing her part. She has also been reaching out to the staff member who is supposed to help graduates find employment, but her messages often go unanswered for days. I understand people can be busy, but my niece is desperately trying to find a job so she can start paying off her debt. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school. It feels like they are more focused on collecting tuition than supporting students after graduation read more

I was a student at American Career College and I highly regret choosing this school. The environment here is incredibly toxic and unprofessional. The instructors show blatant favoritism and form cliques with certain students. When bullying or harassment happens in the classroom, the instructors do absolutely nothing to stop it. Instead, they tone-police and blame the student who is being targeted just to avoid doing paperwork. They cross professional boundaries and make inappropriate personal comments instead of focusing on education. Her attitude and pushy, phony, manipulative vibes made me run away from that place fast... glad I didn't waste anymore time there as I did find a hybrid LVN course at California career college that is 2 days online and one full day in person for a significant amount less. Had a terrible experience here. I had an appointment so I figured I'd be seen right away. It was so unprofessional it felt like high school. Even with an appointment I was waiting for almost 30 minutes. They were extremely unprofessional and 1 of the females in her office had her shoes off showing her bare ass crusty feet. This place is terrible. I ended up enrolling in UEI and it was the best decision ever! They actually took the time to get to know me, they made me feel welcomed and almost like family. I enrolled into American career college in the month of January 2024. I got my place in school by February 4. They were very easy-going with getting me enrolled at such a late notice that I feel privileged to be there because the waitlist was long. The school year for me was very easy, because of the way the course was structured. they do have strict policies that you have to abide by, but it makes ACC very professional and you have a sense of pride to tell people of the college you attend. I really enjoyed the clinical rotations they have to offer. I feel that I learned so much that they prepared me to find a job and feel confident. I am now working as a nurse I have received multiple compliments from my new job about my knowledge in the nursing field, and thats thanks to ACC. American career college has excellent instructors that guided me to success with 1, passing the exit exam, and 2 passing my NCLEX. There was some minor problems with classroom availability because of the amount of students attending American career college, and that happened about three times but they made quick accommodations and class went on as scheduled. If you're ready to pursue your career in the medical field, I highly recommend American career college. I would do it again in a heartbeat. read more

Going here ruined my life. I have been in severe debt since attending this school and haven't been able to live on my own. The program I attended did NOT teach me what I needed for the career at all. They skipped over everything I actually needed to know.
