The drinks are fantastic--especially the gin cocktails--and the vibe is always on point. So glad it's around the corner from my mom's place... I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town!

This place is located in Montgomery technically but is right next to Conroe you can see the lake driving up it was so beautiful. It's a prohibition style speakeasy with the hidden door and the ambiance is so beautiful inside with an amazing bar and just a great vibe. We loved how the waitresses were dressed in dresses from the time it was so classy and fun. And we went on a night they had live music and it was sooo good. Now let's talk about the drinks there were so many choices of cocktails bourbon whiskey you name it. I let the waitress pick mine it was something with pear and it was yummy. We both loved our drinks. My husband loved his old fashion. The food was absolutely delicious we enjoyed the crab toast and lamb lollipop and the Chilean sea bass which were all to die for. Oh and Lavendar creme brûlée for dessert. We met Rob and his wife the owners who are the nicest people and now we can't wait to come back with friends to salsa night. If you're looking for a nice dinner spot with great drinks food and music on certain nights just the best service you have to come try this location you won't be disappointed. It made our anniversary special.

Petite Suzette - Brûlée fig French toast

I've driven past Petite Suzette in Montgomery countless times and have even parked right out front,…read morebut for some reason I never stepped inside--until our POA tasting event gave me the perfect excuse. What a mistake I waited so long to make! This place did not disappoint. We started with the fondue, and wow... rich, creamy, and served piping hot like molten cheese lava in a proper fondue pot. The toasted French bread cubes were perfectly dunkable, and that cheese has more pull than the President. It's pure cheesy happiness in a pot--seriously, the cure for any bad mood. The beet carpaccio was another standout: beautifully thin slices drizzled with sweet fig balsamic, topped with goat cheese crumbles and fresh microgreens. Even the beet skeptics at our table went back for seconds. Next came the strawberry goat cheese salad, and I'm officially a convert. I used to avoid fruit on salads, but this one changed my mind completely. Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and crisp greens in perfect balance. I'm already planning my next visit with grilled salmon on top. For mains we shared the chicken paillard--light, bright with lemon, and paired with dreamy whipped mashed potatoes--and the steak frites. The steak was tender and juicy, but let's be honest... those frites stole the show. Fresh-cut, double-fried, perfectly crispy and salty. I could have eaten an endless basket of them. Absolute drool-worthy. We finished the night with sharing a plate of beignets. Warm, fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was phenomenal, especially for a large group. Our server never missed a beat, and the whole team was warm and attentive. The drink menu is excellent too--great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails. The Napoleon was our table favorite by far. Petite Suzette has officially earned a new set of regulars. We'll be back later this week, and I can't wait to try even more. If you're anywhere near Montgomery, do yourself a favor and go in. You won't regret it!

The only reason I gave this place one star was our server was delightful...the food was poorly…read moreprepared from substandard ingredients. My dining companions and I are veterans of the restaurant, catering & hospitality industry. The fish on the fish & chips was inedible. The first attempt was burnt beyond recognition. The second attempt was boxed, previously frozen fish patties that were under-cooked. The only thing edible on the plate was the "chips." The steak sandwich consisted of a slab of flank steak that could have replaced the sole of a shoe. Flank is the wrong cut unless it is sliced, thinly, cross-grain. It was also poorly seasoned and bland. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwich that wasn't crispy, it was grilled. This entre' and the fries were the only acceptable dishes served. We asked if the crab cakes were made with lump crab. Our server checked with the cook and informed us it was imitation crab (pollock). I spoke with the manager to let her know about the experience. "You can't fix it if you don't know what is wrong." I was offered a complimentary meal on our next visit. I told the manager that wasn't necessary as we are just visiting the area. I waited a while for the check while my companions went to get our car. The server finally delivered the check and the two inedible dishes were deleted from the bill. I paid and tipped our lovely server more than than the total check would been. It wasn't her fault.
