As we walked in it seemed like a large group just left so things were a bit crazy. We were told it would be a few minutes to be seated. Large cavernous space feels antiseptic and empty. The food is quite pedestrian, like cooking at home if you're of modest talent. Biggest surprise was the worst presentation we've ever seen- it literally looked like the sandwich and fries had been thrown on the plate from 6 ft away. We walked up about 30 minutes before close time with our dog. We sat on the patio. There was a family of four outside as well. We didn't receive our food until after closing which is a a pretty long wait. The pork chop dinner was really good. Green beans were perfectly cooked...not soggy and not raw...perfect. The mashed potato puree was divine! Husband got the wet burrito and he liked it. One big question for me is...why in the heck do they not have the umbrellas set up at the patio tables?! I saw them all folded up and laying on the ground on the side of the building. Since it's been so warm/hot for the last few weeks, I would think they would put the umbrellas up, so people can actually sit on the patio. The restaurant's namesake! Enjoyed a vacay/holiday breakfast with the hubs and two of our adult children. Ambiance was clean, bright and inviting. Minimal decor, music playing. Plenty of table and booth seating. Menu has a wide variety of options to accommodate everyone. But not only breakfast is served until 11 am I believe. I'm not always a "breakfast" eater so sometimes look to main menu for other options, but I flexed. Everyone enjoyed their selections. My spinach feta omelette was ok I would have preferred some more seasonings perhaps with onion and garlic. Potatoes were really good. Service was very attentive. Bit of a mixed review here. Let's start with the bad, to end on a good note. Bad: waitress set us down then disappeared for roughly 25 minutes after getting our order. When she got back totally the table, with chips and salsa after 25 minutes of waiting, she told us their "ticket machine" with the order was messed up, and had "lost" our order. We had just spoken to a different waitress (asking where our waitress was, what the status of the kitchen was) right before who had told us that there was a large order that had backed up all the orders in the kitchen and that was the issue. My fiancé spoke to the manager who seconded the delay due to the large order, after our waitress lied. the only other thing I have here was that the toilet in the women's restroom was busted. The good: food was excellent! Loved the chorizo breakfast taco, my finance had an omelette that he loved. So the waitress disappeared for 25 minutes and lied, she was very sweet. There was a more experienced waitress who was very helpful. Food was priced fairly. Will definitely be back! read more

Walked in to a friendly hostess and decided to sit outside. What a beautiful closed in little patio area! We were served warm chips and warm salsa that was truly the best I've ever had!!!! We were served by Kenya who was knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly and fast! We ordered breakfast and I really wish I would have taken pics, but it was all so good we ate it all up! Lol. Honestly, after this experience, we won't be returning. The food (that we got) was trash. Service: was not bad. The server was nice. Seemed nervous and new. did not ask how our food was. Kinda awkward and introduced himself . Drinks: i got a jumbo marg. Shoulda been $8 for their special but charged me $10. I just let it go. Marg was fine. My husband got a sweet tea. First one taste like straight soap, the second taste like less soap. Apps: We got the queso, it was TRASH. It was straight melted cheese, no flavor, and also watery. Meals: Both my husband and i got the California burrito. We asked for beans to be added. It came out without beans. Server didn't notice/care. We didn't eat the food, server just didn't ask about it and charged full amount, which is fine. Tortilla tasted like a wet wipe. Way too much sour cream. The chicken at least had flavor but was rubbery. It was 1/8 chicken, 1/8 fries , 1/3lettuce 1/3 sour cream. Needless to say, we did not enjoy a sour cream and lettuce burrito. DISGUSTING. We had a party of 5 for breakfast. We were greeted and seated promptly. Much larger inside than it appears outside. Our server was very friendly and very thorough with our order to assure it was correct. A couple of us ordered mimosas. Mine was pineapple juice, the other orange. Very tasty. One lady ordered a strawberry smoothie. It was a very generous size and she said it was very good. I ordered the feta and spinach omelette and had them add mushrooms. I chose the home potatoes and a biscuit. I was shocked how much food came for only a $10 plate. Everything was fresh and you could tell the biscuits were homemade. Very fluffy and had a bit of sweetness to them. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was a bit slow, but they seemed to get slammed when we arrived so we had no problem waiting. It was a little struggle to do separate checks (which we did tell him up front we wanted). Side note, the fresh fruit that came with some orders looked amazing. And the salsa they brought me on the side was really good. I look forward to trying more. read more

Chefs kiss for tastiness of our meals. Husband absolutely loved his hash browns and cleaned his plate as I did. 100% recommend! We arrived a little late to The Patio Cafe. They sat us immediately, and took our drink order. Our waiter was Austin, and he was so nice. We ordered the small queso, and it was delicious and creamy. The salsa that comes with the chips is a little spicy, but still such a fantastic flavor. I ordered the street tacos. It comes with 5, and is topped with cilantro and onion. It also comes with a green salsa and let me tell you, that will clear your sinus' up super fast. At one point I joked with Austin he should just bring us a pitcher of tea bc the salsa was making me sweat, and he brought one out for us. He was amazing and attentive! We sat outside because it was the perfect night for it, and the patio had a great feel to it. The menu has a wide range of food, so there is def something for everyone here. 9/10 stars for me! The only downside is it say they are open until 10, but once there I learned they closed at 9. Still worth going there for the fantastic flavorful food!! read more
