Nice place to sit and relax at Margaritaville. Had a conference at Margaritaville. After the meeting ended, decided to spend a little extra time before making the 90-minute drive back home. Found a quiet table and enjoyed the beachy vibe while enjoying a view of Lake Conroe. Great place to soak in life on a warm and breezy Sunday afternoon in October. (No one came by to check on me, so it was a very peaceful place to read.) Tried to grab some drinks and appetizer before the show. Seating was 45 minutes and the order would take at least another 45 minutes. Sadly, we wound up with drinks and stale tortilla chips. If you're lucky enough to snag patio seating great but if you're at the bar or normal dining room, it's not too enjoyable. Also pretty pricey for what ya get.

So far, it is great! We love the Landshark Bar & Grills. Always a great place to come and get great drinks and food. Enjoying the lakeside dinning and friendly atmosphere. Plus, looks like it's going to be a beautiful sunset.

I was a bit skeptical about coming due to the 2.9 star review but was very happy for our food and service from Rene. The kids all gave it a 4.5+ review. The key lime shrimp and rice was very good. My son didn't love the fish tacos so that was consistent with some of the past reviews. The wings were great! And they loved the burgers. Overall it was a great experience and definitely recommend!

Don't know what's up with the reviews , we thought it was pretty good ! Burger is a must , soft bun & good flavored meat. Fish on tacos were soft and complimented well with lemon & spicy mayo Was here for the resort & will come back to this restaurant when we return

Ambiance: Bar & restaurant located on the Margaritaville property with an indoor dining area + bar and outside patio area overlooking Lake Conroe. Summer/tropical aesthetic featuring tiki hut patio tables and colorful decor. I loved my time at LandShark - however, I drank my beer on the patio and watched the lake so I cannot speak too much on the vibe/service inside or for food. There are a ton of kids everywhere - which I did feel hindered the experience given that many were running around unsupervised, splashing water up towards the patio seating, and being loud. This is certainly a family-friendly spot. One patron left their dog on their boat while they ate inside and so we did have a dog barking a good portion of the time. I would go back - I think you go for the lake views & to enjoy summer! The food was a bit pricey for what you're getting. Definitely gets busy/crowded! Onsite parking.

    Love this place, too.

The perfect margarita was really just not special . Service is good. We just had margaritas chips and queso. Nice location. But very corporate food.

I would give less stars but loved the location, theme, happy hour, and friendly hostess but it stops there. This business has so much potential but either they need to provide better training or hire skilled employees. We went here 2 different occasions, once for drinks at the bar and another for dinner. Terrible service both times sadly. We waited 15 minutes at the bar before we were acknowledged and it wasn't even busy. I watched bartenders check on other existing patrons and walked right passed us multiple times. Only when I flagged one over did she say "I'll be with you in just a minute" with an agitated tone. Thankfully, drinks were good and strong so made it tolerable. Now let's move onto dinner...service was extremely slow, food was not good at all, missed instructions/requests, and just overall experience that left my family and I dissatisfied.

The food was ok but the portion of fish on the fish tacos was very sparse for the cost. Our waitress was very attentive and the view of the water was great. We weren't going to eat here after seeing the 2.5 star rating but gave it a try anyways. If it wasn't for the drinks and the view we wouldn't return. The drinks were excellent so I would highly suggest Land Shark for drinks and not so much for food. I guess after a long day on the water the food would pass but if you're strictly coming for food....dont!

Be warned- fish tacos is pretty spicy! Too spicy for me!

A good place for a staycation if you're near by... restaurant has a nice view, patio seating on the lake. Food was not that great. Depends what you get. I ordered seafood tacos. It was super spicy! Service is eh..

There are no real vegetarian options, so I ordered fried cheese and a glass of Cabernet. The fried cheese was fine, not what I had hoped for dinner, but it wasn't bad. My wine was a super cheap white wine, Boone's Farm quality, and obviously not Cabernet Sauvignon. The service was slow, but the server was friendly. The music varied from country to rap, and no one was dancing. The whole place needed a good scrub-down. Not a fan.

The moment Endless Bummer started appearing on my feed, I knew I had to check it out. EB is a hidden tiki bar inside of Betelgeuse Betelgeuse - Montrose. The self proclaimed king of Houston tiki bars and speakeasies and I visited on a Thursday night. We were able to walk in without a reservation. I'm not sure what the capacity is, but the place is small. I'm guessing they can seat about 30 people max. During peak hours, they will limit you to 60 minutes and there's a two drink minimum. When we went, it wasn't at capacity and we were able to stay for a few hours. If you make a reservation online, you have to give your credit card info. It's a $25 charge if you cancel within 24 hours. If you don't want to make a reservation, they recommend visiting on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays. Ring the doorbell for entry. If they don't answer immediately, it's most likely because the hostess is seating another guest. I can't remember the hostess's name, but she was so nice and a super cool gal. The vibe is really cool, weird, bizarre, and trippy. We received a welcome drink which was some sort of rum tea. One of the bartenders came over and explained the menu. They have a lot of drinks to choose from and each drink has a story. The drinks are very unique and come with a nice presentation. I really enjoyed the Bitter Bird. Some of our friends joined us later on in the evening and the hostess moved us to a larger table. There were more people than we were expecting, but the staff did a great job of accommodating us. We ordered a massive drink meant for 4-6 people and it was boozy. You know you're in for a treat when you visit a place that describes itself as "somewhere between death and vacation." If this is what purgatory is like, I don't ever want to leave.

The team behind the popular restaurant Nobie's opened up this tiki inspired restaurant. Tiki bars happen to be one of my favorite varieties of bars so I was more than excited to finally check it off my list. I had recently seen them on the Food Network as well. They share a lot with another popular dining spot so parking can be a little difficult in their lot. You can find street parking or park across the street in an overflow lot. Customer service was great from start to finish. We had just ate next door and our intentions were to come in here just for cocktails, but I couldn't leave without trying some of the popular items. I wanted the most tropical drink I could find on the menu so I started off with the Blue Hawaiian. I saw fire on the description so my extra self needed to have it. I'm a big rum guy so this drink was right up my alley and very boozy with two types of rum. It was very coconut forward with pineapple being the secondary flavor. One was enough for me to feel just right. Since we had just ate, we decided to share the World Famous Cheeseburger. This was a great burger. I don't know if they were going for the smash effect, but it had smash burger characteristics. It had all my favorite things that are musts on a burger like American cheese and red onions. It also had a very nice chili aioli that added great flavor to the burger. I came on another stop for a drink visit shortly after and tried the pork dumplings and popcorn chicken. These were also very good. If I lived in the area, this place would easily be a place I would frequent often. I will most definitely be back!

It wears the posture of a dive but carries itself with intention, a little bohem, a little defiant, and entirely comfortable in its own skin. The bar hums with craft. Cocktails arrive balanced and deliberate, built by hands that understand restraint as much as flair. Nothing shouts. Nothing apologizes. Each glass feels considered, as though the bartender paused just long enough to ask what kind of night you were hoping to have, then answered without speaking. The staff moves easily, quick with wit and generous with attention, treating regulars and first-timers as if both had already earned their place. The decor tells its own quiet rebellion. Mismatched, layered, worn just enough to feel lived in, it carries the sense that stories have been told here and will be told again. And then there are the bathrooms, unisex and unashamed, their walls papered with vintage Playboy centerfolds that celebrate the female form not as spectacle but as art. Tasteful, sexy, unapologetic. A reminder that admiration can exist without crudeness, that beauty does not need permission to be acknowledged. The Two Headed Dog is less a bar than a posture toward the world. It resists neat categories. Not quite dive, not quite cocktail lounge, not quite anything else that could be reduced to a label.
