Amazing service, awesome food with generous portions. The wings, loaded fries/nachos... perfect. Great patio with boat docks! We pull in for lunch all the time.

If your server recommends it, you get it! The service was great, but the shrimp was even better. I loved the shrimp tacos, but our wonderful server recommended to get it grilled. Great views, great seafood, and great service! We will definitely be back.

The decorations in here are really cute. They were definitely going for a fun theme that would look cute in photos and I think they did a great job. Plus a large patio on the water, so it definitely has atmosphere. The drinks are better than you'd expect which is a big plus. Margarita on the rocks isn't too sweet or too tart. The food is usually a hit but can be a miss. The Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich is delicious but I wouldn't call it hot personally. Not spicy, but it has spices. I will order it again because it tastes great. The burger is decent, but has come to me personally before with not everything on it. Not a big deal because it still tasted great and the server was super nice about it and fixed it for me. Pulled pork sandwich hits the spot. Overall the service and atmosphere were great. Could use a smidge more "oomf" with the food, but it is reliable to be good each time. Rating a 5 because we will certainly be back.

The worst crawfish of my life! Flavorless and half-raw, and the potatoes tasteless. No, it's impossible to eat.

Great crawfish with Lake Conroe views Early in the season so they are still small but overall great flavor.

Crawfish, sausage, boiled shrimp, corn, and potato. Delicious.

Crawfish was amazing! Just the right amount of spice, very flavorful. Added boiled shrimp, sausage, potato, and sweet corn. All delicious!

The happy hour drink specials and view from the deck was awesome on this fall day! The chicken wing quesadillas were yummo! We had a great server. She was friendly and gave us tips on the menu. Food was fresh and hot! We will go again!

My husband and I wanted a casual dinner on. Sunday eve. We were promptly greeted and seated. I had the shrimp tacos and he ordered a burger. My shrimp Tacos were very good. The size of the shrimp was impressive. The panko crust was delicious. I chose to have the firecracker sauce on the side and ordered another sauce too. Only suggestion is to shred the cabbage rather than have the giant chunks. My husband said the burger was good. The fries were a bit cold and had two different kinds like they had run out? They do have a great happy hour with $5 margaritas too. Nice lake views. Good service.

    Great Plates and incredible view

Very good food and Great service.. The lake views are the best..Great place for Food, Bar Dinner or Lunch...

The food was amazing and service was even better! I have zero complaints. We went on Sunday at 5 so I get it wasn't the busiest but there were several patrons. The waitress and servers were attentive and made sure we had enough drink, etc to keep us happy. Not to mention a great location on the water. I'll definitely be back.

Monty's Lighthouse - Montgomery, Texas…read more This was my very first visit to Monty's Lighthouse out by Lake Conroe, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. I decided to have a lunch date with my son, and the entire outing felt peaceful, relaxed, and exactly what we needed. The ambience was lovely, the weather was perfect, and the lakeside scenery added that extra touch that makes a meal feel like a moment. I ordered the Seafood Ravioli -- cheese raviolis covered in a rich crab bisque cream sauce with sautéed crawfish tails, shrimp, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavor, worth every bit of the $21.99. My son had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with applewood smoked bacon, pepper jack cheese, and Cajun honey mustard aioli. He enjoyed it completely, and at $15.49, it was a great portion and value. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was inviting, and the food was genuinely good. For a first‑time visit, Monty's Lighthouse made a strong impression. I definitely plan on going back and exploring more of the menu while enjoying that beautiful lakeside view.

I definitely see why this is a favorite amongst the locals and my coworkers party. Patio seating gives a gorgeous view of the water or you can sit inside amongst the many tables and booths available. As for the food, they offer cajun-inspired eats and seafood options here, all of which are quite tasty. They have oysters available along with crawfish if you want to go that avenue. My girlfriend and I kept it simple starting with the stuffed mushrooms, comes with 7 mushrooms stuffed with crab in a butter sauce. Pretty tasty although most of the flavor comes from the sauce. As for entrees, she ordered the cajun pasta while I went with the cajun shrimp cobb salad. The pasta is quite large and rich which suited her. I enjoyed the salad which had all the fixings of a cobb salad; I would've preferred the egg be chopped up but I can't complain. We finished our meal with the bread pudding which was delicious and full of cinnamon and caramel. Apparantly it's their best-selling dessert and I can see why. I noticed they also have live music here on certain days and an expansive happy hour. While this spot is far from where we live, we're definitely open to coming back here to taste other items.

Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I wish I caught her name! One thing I really liked is that it feels like there are two completely different vibes depending on where you sit. There's a restaurant side and a bar side, which is perfect now that I have a newborn. It felt much more family-friendly than I expected and didn't feel like I was sitting in a sports bar. The food was awesome, too. Either it's been a while since I've been to a Tailgaters, or this location just does things differently, but I was surprised by how many food options there were. I finally got to try gator for the first time and ordered the Gator Dog. It was honestly delicious. It's mixed with pork, so it eats more like a really good sausage, which I loved. We also had the steak fingers and fried crawfish, and both were great. The real showstopper, though, was the onion rings. We had absolutely no idea how massive they were going to be. I'm still thinking about them. I seriously wish I had taken pictures of the food because it all looked incredible, but somehow I completely forgot. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'll remember to take photos before we start eating. But I had to add pictures of the menu because that's the one thing I looked for on the Yelp Page here and could not find it so hopefully this helps someone else.

What a mistake I waited so long to make! This place did not disappoint. We started with the fondue, and wow... rich, creamy, and served piping hot like molten cheese lava in a proper fondue pot. The toasted French bread cubes were perfectly dunkable, and that cheese has more pull than the President. It's pure cheesy happiness in a pot--seriously, the cure for any bad mood. The beet carpaccio was another standout: beautifully thin slices drizzled with sweet fig balsamic, topped with goat cheese crumbles and fresh microgreens. Even the beet skeptics at our table went back for seconds. Next came the strawberry goat cheese salad, and I'm officially a convert. I used to avoid fruit on salads, but this one changed my mind completely. Sweet strawberries, creamy goat cheese, and crisp greens in perfect balance. I'm already planning my next visit with grilled salmon on top. For mains we shared the chicken paillard--light, bright with lemon, and paired with dreamy whipped mashed potatoes--and the steak frites. The steak was tender and juicy, but let's be honest... those frites stole the show. Fresh-cut, double-fried, perfectly crispy and salty. I could have eaten an endless basket of them. Absolute drool-worthy. We finished the night with sharing a plate of beignets. Warm, fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. The service was phenomenal, especially for a large group. Our server never missed a beat, and the whole team was warm and attentive. The drink menu is excellent too--great selection of beers, wines, and creative cocktails. The Napoleon was our table favorite by far. Petite Suzette has officially earned a new set of regulars. We'll be back later this week, and I can't wait to try even more. If you're anywhere near Montgomery, do yourself a favor and go in. You won't regret it!
