My father is now able to walk again with the therapy that was provided. Unfortunately, there were serious communication and care concerns during her stay. Despite repeated efforts to inform staff about her medical restrictions, she was given food that she was not supposed to have. This led to complications, including her feeding tube becoming dislodged and requiring an emergency hospital visit. Even after the hospital provided updated instructions, it felt like important information was still not being clearly documented or followed. In addition to the medical concerns, it was very difficult to get timely responses from staff, and we often felt that our concerns were not taken seriously. This created a great deal of stress and worry for our family during an already challenging time. We ultimately requested a transfer to another facility closer to home so we could better advocate for her care. I strongly encourage families to stay very involved, ask detailed questions, and closely monitor care plans if their loved one is placed here. I am sharing this experience so that other families can be informed and prepared.

My mom lived there from July 2018 until she passed in January 2020. Jennifer is the sweetest administrator, communicates well and is at the home every day. The caregivers took excellent care of my mother who suffered from MS 0- they changed her diapers frequently, spoon fed her, bathed her, talked and laughed with her and loved her. I only know the names of the caregivers who were there towards the end of my mom's stay there - Bina, Matthew and Ernie. My mom loved and cared about them too and was very very happy and comfortable there. My mom always looked happy and clean and warm when we visited her and she never had any complaints on her care. They moved my mom to a private room with a view of the Golf Course due to her high need of care but she loved it and watched TV every day, The other residents at the home were so nice also. One of the best things the home did was have monthly parties for any holidays and birthdays in the month. They prepared a delicious dinner, including Filipino food and invited all their residents' families. My mom had a large family with 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren but we were all welcome and treated with love whenever we came for either the monthly parties or just to visit. Jennifer and the caregivers had so much love for my mom, attended her service and did not remove her items from her room until our family was ready to get them. They treated her as another family member, not a source of income, I will be forever grateful for my mom's happiness while she stayed there, I highly recommend Lejenz Home Care for your family member. We had a bad experience at another board and care facility in Diamond Bar so I can say Lejenz provides excellent customer service and care.

Their compassion, kindness, and gentle approach shines through in everything they do. When they tours families considering a move into the community, they listen with genuine care and make what can often be a difficult decision feel comforting and reassuring. Their ability to connect with people and guide them with patience and empathy is extraordinary. I also want to acknowledge LeAnne, the Executive Director of Park View Place. She is an outstanding leader--hands-on, approachable, and deeply empathetic. LeAnne oversees the community with a warmth and dedication that makes residents and families feel like they are in the very best hands. Together, they create an environment that is welcoming, supportive, and truly centered on the well-being of every resident. Park View Place Assisted Living is lucky to have such passionate and caring leaders, and any family would be fortunate to choose this wonderful community.

I had a very disappointing experience at Parkview Place Assisted Living & Memory Care in Covina…read more While on shift, I witnessed extremely unprofessional behavior from a nurse on the memory care unit. She loudly used profanity What was most concerning is that the administrator was present and did nothing to correct or address the behavior. In a healthcare setting, especially one caring for vulnerable memory care residents, professionalism, respect, and accountability are essential. Unfortunately, none of that was demonstrated. This experience raised serious concerns about staff culture, leadership, and how issues are handled internally. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend this facility and will not be returning.

I am beyond furious with the Regency Grand at West Covina…read more My mother-in-law lived there for 15 years. Fifteen years. She and my father-in-law spent six of those years together in the same assisted living apartment. The staff and management knew them well. We believed she was part of a community. We trusted that she was cared for. After my father-in-law passed in 2017, everything changed. With new ownership and management came a noticeable decline -- fewer gatherings, fewer thoughtful touches, and a clear shift away from the residents who had built that community. The warmth disappeared. The effort disappeared. The food declined significantly. We dined with her often and eventually began taking her out because meals there were so poor. Over the past year, she lost 35-40 pounds. She was not able to tell us about the food because she had a stroke many years before and could not speak. We later learned she wasn't eating -- and no one alerted us. No one noticed. Or if they did, they failed to act. That is inexcusable. After 15 years in the same apartment, her unit was never properly updated. The carpet was filthy. The bathroom cabinetry was falling apart. The space looked worn down and neglected. For two years, we were repeatedly told renovations were coming. They never happened. Then, after Christmas, she became ill and passed away 20 days later. She spent her final three days on hospice in the very place she had called home for a decade and a half. In those last days, only three staff or management members came to see her. Three. After 15 years. We did hear one staff member comment that she was sad she would no longer get clothes from my MIL (who was always very generous). After her passing, there was no card from the Regency management. No condolences. No acknowledgment to my husband, who had just lost his mother. They once posted notices honoring residents who passed. This time -- nothing. We did everything we could to give her a life filled with dignity and love. We trusted Regency to do the same within their walls. They did not. This is more than disappointment. It is heartbreak -- and a profound sense of betrayal.
