One being the owner, and the other beverage sampler...who talked me in to trying Brads Blend: Rum and Cola...which im not huge really on either. I must admit i was pleasently suprised, sourced through Hartmann Distillery, newer on the market, roughly two years. The four flavors: original, coconut, cherry and pineapple. Sold single cans, and 4 packs. Light, refreshing and perfect summer drink. Loved that I supported local. The staff, owner and canalside wine & spirits; friendly, clean and reasonable. It was really a great experience and a nice atmosphere with 80s music and indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. They sell chocolate, sauces, jams, cheese, cured meats, chips, wine seltzers, and cute gadgets and magnets. The manager Vince was so gracious and friendly and because of him we bought wines to take home to the US. And the ice wines are great too! Try it.

The wines the group tried were a bit too sweet, especially for reds. But this is usually what American and seems to be Canadian pallets for wine, so if you like sweeter wines, this winery would be for you. We did pick up a couple bottles of the red ice wine, which I had never seen before. The host was very nice and friendly and explained the wines well.

You are basically visiting someone's home, the owner of the winery! The owner, Huaying Feng, had a really interesting story about how she came to own a winery. The winemaker (& former professor of Feng's), Ron Giesbrecht, work for Henry of Pelham for 23 years. So don't worry, you won't be drinking vinegar! They're a smaller winery, so bottles aren't cheap and cost in/around $30. Tastings are $20/4 samples. You can also do a winemaker-lead tasting for a bit more and I think that that would be not only educational, but more in-depth and a unique experience. I bought a few bottles. Their riesling was really nice! And I have 2 more varietals to taste.

I was just an honest customer looking to get an honest question answered and was shocked to be treated that way. Their alcohol may be good but their customer service is 100% the worst.
