I have been waxing for years!! I got a Brazilian and underarm wax. When I left I was more sore than normal but didn't think much of it since it had been a while since my last waxing. As the day went on I was incredibly uncomfortable!! Along my bikini line there were abrasions and the next day they began to scab over. Under my arms I can see a perfect rectangle (under each arm) where the wax went on and the strip ripped it off. I messaged her to reschedule because my period had unexpectedly come a week in a half early! I messaged her at 4:58am, that morning after using the restroom to inform her. She stated that since I canceled less than 24 hours prior to my appointment, I would have to pay before my follow-up appointment to get a wax. That's was coo with me because I've had a wax with her before, and I understand people have policies. We ended up researching for March 10 at 10 am. Mind you, when I very first booked with her a confirmation text, it was since out the night before to confirm if I was still coming to my appointment the next day. I never got one, so I figured we were still solid, meaning she waived my deposit for being a returning client. On March 10th I left my house around 8:40 a.m. to make sure I was on time for my appointment at 10 and I had sprang my ankle the day before, so I needed that extra time to get to the appointment. I made it to the address she sent me at 9:45 am. I parked my car and logged into my Instagram to message her for the exact unit to come to. She had already messaged me at 9:19 a.m. saying she was confirming our appointment for that morning, then followed up with a message right after that, staying she canceled the appointment and want be able to reschedule again! I called her from Instagram several times, but she never answered. Then she messaged me, saying she had a client. I couldn't do anything but cry because I drove far with a strang ankle that was super swollen, and now my appointment was canceled! I sat outside crying for about 2 hours and messaging her back and forth. She said she was booked for the rest of the day. But in her story on Instagram, she posted her driving to the liquor store around 11:30-12p. I was still in her parking lot watching her story. She offered to refund half my money but never sent it! I've been messaging her for 4 days, and she still hasn't responded to me. But she consistently posted in her story, so now I figured she's purposely ignoring me. And I definitely feel like I got scammed out of my money. I generally think she just wanted my money and never wanted to do my wax from the jump. I'm more hurt because she seemed like I was a way different person than I expected, but it's social media, so you basically can act like anything. But this shows me how people really can be, and I pray The Most High truly humbles her because this isn't right! All I wanted was my appointment but she kept my money and said to forget my appointment. I deal with spirits by walking more righteous. I have faith that The Most High will protect me. When I was a child, I thought as a child when I became an adult I put away childish ways. To know better and NOT do better is a horrible thing.
