I've been coming to Angie's for a few years now. Ive recommended the business to many friends that also frequent this business after trying it. I love the mix it up facial because the esthetician does an assessment of your skin's current condition and provides treatment based on what they see. I can book any facial I want online, but having a professional give you what your skin needs is so much easier. Not only do they take the guess work out of booking my appointment, I've found that many of the treatments I've received from Angie's cost hundreds of dollars at other establishments. It doesn't seem like the staff works on commission because there are no sales pushes at the end of your service or "upgrades" offered during service, which is wonderful because I hate those awkward conversations. I came here back in December. It's a really nice, calm, relaxing place. As always I found them on yelp. I had no idea that Angie was actually doing my facial. She was nice and knowledgeable. Seems to be her husband running the front. They are kind. She made me a fan of facials. I face was smooth and she seemed to have made my face brighter. I will be back because I see the difference! The view in the facial room is really nice. First I was nervous to go here, because you think you only can go to big name spots. NOPE, not true! Go here, and the service you will not regret! This place is really neat. At first I couldn't find it and the receptionist actually came outside and waved me down. It's in a business lot and it's kind of hidden- either that or I just was being blind. It's in the copper point business center on tropicana and eastern. I have only gone here twice and just for eyebrow wax so I can't give it a 5 star based just on that. But service wise it deserves a 5 star. This place is great they always answer your call or return your call, very accommodating, and professional. The waiting area is really relaxing and beautiful as well. This place is deleting their reviews. I went here awhile back and did a 50 min facial. She finished at about 29 minutes. You'd probably think "oh it's no big deal" but 1) it would of been cheaper to just do a single facial and 2) i literally left the place with black heads on my nose and more work could of been done to improve my face. Had an introductory facial and was amazed at the level of treatments for the amount. The reception area and rooms remind me off a photo layout in Town and Country, very clean and cozy. I've been seeing Amy for the last couple of years at Angies Aesthetics. She is so knowledgeable and has over 20 years experience in aesthetics. She has been extremely helpful with treating my acne skin and even recommending great products. I have been seeing Angie once a month for over 10 years for esthetician services and pampering. I know that this sounds like she is a relative of mine, but I want to report that Angie is an absolute delight. In my book, she is an 11 on a scale from 1 to 10. I just cannot sing her praises loud and long enough. She is a very warm and thoughtful person, very competent and professional. The "office" environment is inviting and relaxing. Her husband Bill runs the front office and is very helpful and friendly. Neither Angie nor Bill has had plastic surgery, but they both look much younger than most people typical of their ages. Each month, Angie "sizes" up my face and does want ever she thinks that I need. People often tell me that I look years younger than my age. Angie keeps up on the latest advances in her field by frequently attending conventions/conferences. She carries a good line of products, which she has never pitched to me (I am the one who asks about products) nor has she ever said that I should come in so many times a month. This was my first microdermabrasion and I loved it. Of course its too early to see results but the whole experience was very personal and individual. Angie is super sweet, knowledgable and gentle. She has many years of experience and you can tell. First off the office is cutely decorated and u feel at home right away. Second the chair/bed you lay in is SO comfortable I could have fallen asleep. The microdermabrasion itself did not hurt and I asked alot of questions throughout the procedure that she answered and then some (she not only does your face but also your neck and chest). After the procedure she applied a super charged vitamin cream to my face then wiped if off with steamed towels, it felt so good. Next she applied a pumpkin/pomegranate peel (which I'm not gonna lie stung a little but quickly goes away) that stays on for 5-10 mins, which also got followed up with a wipe down with steamed towels. Next I received oxygen therapy to my face, neck and arms which felt very refreshing (btw all throughout the procedure she tells u the benefit of each thing she does and gives you tips on home remedies you can do to your face). The whole appointment included more than I could imagine and was the best price in town! She keeps her prices low because she loves what she does and her clients stay with her for years. I already have my second appointment next week and I'm so excited to finally have the smooth clear complexion I've always wanted! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Angie. I came to her for help with this really bad acne breakout I'm having due to stress from school. I've had many facials and treatments before but never met someone to really care about my skin like Angie. She takes her time with me, asks me questions about all the things I am doing with my skin. She takes notes every time I see her. I've had several blue light therapies and on my 4th microderm, wow my skin has made such an improvement. This isn't your nice smelling oils/creams, high end, "fuffy" stuff (although it is a wonderful atmosphere) she really wants to you to achieve the best skin possible. I've had a lot of facials over my time and she is excellent. SHe's also very nice indeed. I've always had the mix it up facial. Good value for the service...although I can't say the microderm really helped. Stephanie is AMAZING! I almost cried after I saw what she did to my face. My skin was super dry and peeling and she really pulled out the bells and whistles for my skin. She rehydrated my face did some microdermabrasion and extractions all for $49 on the first visit. Visits after are a little more but it doesn't matter because I am hooked! I don't get facials done regularly so I booked an appointment with Schannel for the $119.00 deal. Schannel was INCREDIBLE!!!!! She extracted me, did a pumpkin peel and microdermabrasion but in between this hour long process she put many creams on my face to really kill the bacteria on my face to really bring down some of the acne I have. I just went today so I'm waiting to see how my skin will begin to look but I already see a difference! My skin looks shiny and very smooth. I will definitely be returning to her!! Firstly, I opted to get my hubby to have his facial, it being his 83rd birthday. He had high marks for Angie. Very professional and yet had a personal touch. She had tips for him to do. The facial room was so neat, sanitary and relaxing. Then it was my turn to have a skin consult which I found very unique. Why not a free consult before the real thing. Angie expressed positive comments on my skin and I felt she would be the person to keep my skin glowing the rest of my life! I have been going to Angie's for a long time. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'll start by telling you that I am a dark skinned woman with adult acne and with very uneven skin tone. I have scars on my face from a previous car accident. I'd like to say I'm very diligent about my skin care and have tried a number of things from being under the care of various dermatologists to trying different skin regimens to harsh retinoids. I even tried a photo facial once which burned my skin and left dark marks on my face. See - not only is my skin sensitive but as most dark skin, it hyper-pigments very easily. I'm telling you all this because I want you to know that I've tried everything under the sun and the reason I have seen only Angie for a long time now is that she has achieved what no other approach has: to significantly improve my skin and help me maintain it. Angie is a very polite and generous woman, often going way over the allotted time for my service to make sure she gets the very best possible result for my skin. She pays special attention to my scars, my discoloration, and any areas of extra concern. She cares! And she is so knowledgeable.
