My garage door spring broke just before Christmas with my car inside, so I couldn't go to work. I called a lot of companies and some others charged extra to come out the same day. Diamond Garage Doors of Gainesville, VA did not. They came out that day and arrived at the time they said they will arrive. They were competitively priced. Matt was very nice, professional and knew what he was doing. I was originally thinking about replacing my wooden garage door due to some rotting wood at the bottom, and because Matt did such a superb job, I asked him about his prices for a new door with insulation of a good R value. He refunded me the cost of the springs towards the new garage door. His prices were good, so I decided to get a new one from him. He returned after Christmas to install the new door with a helper. Again, he was timely, professional and did an excellent job with installation. He showed me how to maintain my new garage door, which works so much better and is quieter too. He is a nice and trustable person, whom I will be calling upon and recommending to my neighbors and friends. I'm so glad that I took the advice of my community on who to call for garage door repairs. My torsion spring snapped early in the morning and our cars were trapped. I called and spoke with Susan. She is one of the most pleasant representatives I've ever spoken with. Susan told me they should be able to send someone out in the late afternoon but she would call me back if they could come out sooners. I received a call soon afterwards letting me know that they could be out in an hour. Matt showed up right on time. He was extremely professional and was kind enough to walk me through what happened and gave me advice on how to better maintain my garage door. My garage door wasn't opened all the way when I was backing up yesterday and I bumped the door out of alignment and damaged a few other parts. I called a few companies that were local to me and they were a week booked out. I called Diamond Garage doors and they could send someone out the next day. He arrived on time, efficiently repaired the problems, tested it and was on his way, The repairs I was impressed with how quickly he was able to repair the problems, do a fix on the damaged parts and go over with me what he did. Our garage door spring broke and we called Diamond Garage Doors. They were absolutely wonderful. They responded immediately and replaced the spring the same day we called. We originally called another much bigger garage door company we had used for many years previously and they wanted about $600 to replace the spring plus another $550 to replace the upper door panel (which didn't need to be done) for about $1,150 total. Diamond replaced the spring for $224 and gave us a lifetime warranty. Needless to say, we will never return to the other company and will always call Diamond in the future and recommend them to neighbors! read more

First off, I called this company after I had another company tell me that I needed to replace my complete door at a ridiculous price. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful and had Matt out to my house within two hours to look at my door. Matt was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very knowledgeable and trust-worthy family business. My garage door fell down and a panel was damaged, because the slider on the rail broke apart. By asking a few questions, the lady on the phone was able to figure out my problem was most likely to be a broken spring. Matt came over and managed to fix the problems with having to replace the damaged panel. All this with a reasonable price, too.
