I had sent a quote request for ceramic auto tinting and this amongst other four businesses had responded back to me. It was easy to send up appointment and there was someone online to assist you if you had any questions on that end. Second, what really sold me about this place is that they had a demonstration of how each tint performed in sun with light bulbs as an example and that it was only five minutes from where I live. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. He offered insight about night driving with certain levels of tints and offer to used his vehicle as an example! Finally third their work is amazing! Tint looked amazing from all angles and did what it needed to do. I ended up getting the triple layer ceramic tint which was a little bit on the higher side of price but worth every penny especially in this Vegas heat. My car is cooler than without the ceramic tint when I enter the vehicle and the air conditioner cools down the vehicle in less than few minutes top! That's in about 90ish degree Fahrenheit weather but we will see how it performs in 100+ degree weather in the next few months. Be mindful with anything below 20% tint at night because it will be dark! The privacy and aesthetic is the perk though! ONE STAR We took time away from work and rearranged our entire day to make our scheduled appointment with Diamond Garage --only to be told after we arrived that removing the existing tint would cost an additional $200. This was never mentioned beforehand, despite multiple conversations about the vehicle, the work it needed, the different tint options, their protective qualities, and which one would be best. They knew the vehicle and the situation, yet somehow this major additional charge wasn't disclosed until we were already there. What makes it worse is that they've repeatedly sent me advertisements offering an extra $30 off for booking on certain days. Offering discounts to get customers through the door, then surprising them with a large undisclosed fee once they arrive, feels incredibly misleading. The price I was quoted was clearly not the actual price required to complete the job properly. When I contacted them afterward, they apologized--and then offered to apply the new tint directly over the old tint if I came back. Are you kidding me? That isn't a professional solution, and I would never feel comfortable trusting the quality or safety of work done that way. I feel like we were told whatever was necessary to get us through the door, and then the real cost was revealed once our time had already been wasted. Amazing experience. I reached out via yelp to multiple tint shops and what really stood out for me was the consistent follow up. I have been so busy since I reached out and it was really nice to see a business follow up with available times without feeling pushy and they made the entire process so easy. Decent tint shop and knowledgeable staff here. Didn't realize they were a lot farther than I thought. Make sure you check their hours. I spoke to them through yelp quotes and let them know I was going to stop by on a Tuesday with my sister in law who got the day off. Once we got there we realized they were open by appointment only! It was quite the inconvenience as I was newly postpartum and had to find a sitter in order to bring my vehicle in to get tinted. We wanted to see the tint in person before committing. We both ended up getting ceramic tint. My SIL is pretty happy. I was not expecting to splurge as much as I did as the vehicle is only a lease. The vehicle gets parked outside full time and the interior is still gets fairly hot inside. According to the Tesla app it can get to 115 inside by 10am in the fall.
