With the new ownership of this campground, they appear to be going above and beyond to be sure their campground is updated. We chose this campground in 2015 and are so pleased that we did. The host is easy to work with but assures that all the campers are treated well and the owner continues to improve the campground. We love having the entire Chain O'Lakes at our disposal. The golf course is just down the road, so when we have guests they an golf also. Several of their docks are new and improved. Also, having the Tiki Bar so close offers food and a fun place to hang out if you just need something different. It was absolutely the right choice for us.

The site we stayed in was 111. We were able to fit a class A motor home, boat and truck on the site with room in the back of the site for hammocks, a fire and picnic table. You are not able to have mats outside your camper on the grass which did cause a little extra dirt inside the camper but nothing too major. The grounds were well maintained. The kids enjoyed the pool and the indoor facility with game room, workout rooms and pickle all courts. We did walk to town which was not bad but it is along a busy county road without sidewalks. They also have a nice dog park area that our two dogs enjoyed. The main office brews delicious coffee daily which was so nice to have after a morning walk. Thanks for the great stay!

We chose Wagon Trail Campground as our first adventure with both our trailer and our baby and all went beautifully. We reserved a full hookup site and we were beyond impressed. Every site it pretty private and wooded .. we loved it. We had a fabulous time, the store at WTC supplied everything we forgot to bring, their restroom and showered were cleaner than my own home, and our puppy enjoyed all the other 4 legged friends that were glamping along with us. We will definitely be back soon.

Who needs a pool when you're basically across the boat launch parking lot from Eagle Lake? The staff was beyond friendly and the self service model for wood and ice with Venmo and cash options was great. It was a smaller campground but had everything you truly needed, plus the option of renting one of their two pontoons. As much as is possible with a boat, it came with white glove service. They put it in the water for you and when you were done at the end of the day you gave them a call and they came and loaded it back up. Matt was awesome and gave some recommendations for spots to stop while out on the water. It couldn't have been an easier way to explore the Eagle River chain. We would definitely stay again and play try out their small cabin options at some point.
