The most horrible experience in years. I went in for a fill in and pedicure. While getting the pedicure, they decided to also do my fill in. She sits on one side of me and moves my arms all over the place. Just ask clients if they're comfortable or need to adjust seating before tugging and pulling. I showed the nail tech a flaw in the overlay. She proceeds to tell me that if she corrects the issue, my skin would get snipped. No, it will not. I told her that if necessary , she can just do a repair. Then two nails after polish had fabric in the polish. I told her and she got rude, I guess because her regular client walked in. Then, to tick me off a little more, my toe nail polish is flawed and not dry. No, I do not get gel on my toes and it dries perfectly and lasts my entire two weeks. i would not recommend because when you want a repeat client, you fix every flaw or detail. I brought my mother to diamond nails for the first time.We both had a pedicure done no problems. I asked how much a Full set of nails would cost.I was told thirty five dollars so I decided to have done After it was done I was told the cost was forty dollars. I said but I was told it was $35?The lady'said "you got long nails" This is all untrue because the man looked at my hands and then gave me a price of thirty five dollars. I said. If it was going to be an extra charge, why didn't you tell me that up front or while you were doing my nails?So I could have made the decision not to move forward? She proceeded to tell me they charge for everything they charge to take off.Polish, Which I didn't have done because I came in with bare clean nails.if you , they charge to cut your nails When you return and.A separate charge to shape your nail. .I said, well.What is the $35, including?If there's all these extra charges.? No answer. Personally, I feel this is racial discrimination, and this is why black women always get into fights with these Vietnamese shops because they have no prices posted, And they charge people whatever they want to charge and they don't tell the people up front. They wait until after they complete the work and come up with all these bogus extra charges. My work was done fine,but I would not patronize them again because they have unfair practices. And as you can see by the pictures I did not have long nails put on. There was no reason for the extra five dollar charge.. So I felt stuck and abused and cheat it but I went ahead and paid just to keep confusion down. All service businesses should post their charges on the wall.That's what they used to do.They've removed the price menu list so that they can charge people unfairly or .What they think they can pay or what they will pay. I pass more than 10 nail shops to get to Diamond Nails. There are always a million people waiting when the door opens. They offer water and juice while you receive your service. My nails always hold up very well without damage. They last longer than expected and I typically get the SNS. I always enjoy my pedicure no matter who does it. I love this place. I've been using this salon for about a year and have always been pleased. They are a small shop that does get busy, but I have never waited more that 10-15 minutes to be seated for a fill in. I have had my nails done by most of the people there and they are always courteous and friendly. For the past two months I have been seeing Kimmy exclusively and she is great Always does a nice job on my nails. :) Making an appt. with the same manicurist is the way to go. Makes life easier. I have to tell you IT WAS THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE/SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN IN MY 25 YEARS OF LIFE! I am from TX and I've never seen someone be treated/talked to/ serviced like they did to my sis in law that day! First off we showed a picture of what kind of simple French tips we wanted... the guy said sure. Through our the whole applying, cutting, and shaping the employee was so rough & visibly annoyed with my sis and law and I. I have been doing my nails for 10 years already so I know when someone is genuinely doing your nails or rushing to get you out of there. This guy was doing things so fast it was like if he needed to leave there in the next 5 minutes so that he doesn't die or something. So I told him "you're really fast" and he just ignores me and in a way kind of starts going more faster anyways so he starts applying the white tip polish and we notice that her natural nail is coming out so it was as if there were two shades of tips on the nail so it didn't look nice so we asked him if he could maybe instead just paint her whole nail a nice nude pink shade. He obviously looked annoyed told me to look through the shellac colors and choose a shade. We did. And like he had already had a layer of clear shellac on her nail and didn't bother to take it off! Again he was rushing like crazy and just started applying what looked to be 4 coats of shellac! My poor sis in laws nails looked like bubbles! They looked so so bad! So I told him "hey this is so bad... we can't accept this. Can you pls make them less thick?" And he went off saying "that's her natural nail it's her nail that's why it looks like that". My dude.... No. Flat out no. Don't come to me with that "it's her nail" excuse. Even other customers around us said those nails were unacceptable! The employee wouldn't even make eye contact with me and talk straight to me. (Note: y'all might be here thinking why are you talking and not your sis in law who is the one getting her nails done? Well again her wedding was the next day, and she is just so sweet to the point where she would even buzz off a bee. And she was going to be my brothers wife so yeah I defend my family). Anyways... so then the employee starts putting away his supplies and tools and says "she's done I can't help you" so I say kindly "where's your manager pls" and then he finally makes eye contact with me and let me tell y'all his face was mad.... Like I'm about to flip this table mad, and he tells me the manager is over there you fo talk to him. So I get up take my sis in law to "the manager" and tell him about the situation. He tells me to show him the inspo pic of the French we initially wanted and the natural shape we wanted as well. This guy must have been the other employees mentor/trainer because he flat out also said "it's her nail her nail is the problem". My guy... pls! So I tell him pls just fix it because her wedding is tomorrow. Everyone in the salon heard us and we're shocked. They also we're waiting to see how "the manager" was going to solve this. Well he flat out told us "you go now. I will cover his tab. You don't have to pay just leave go somewhere else". My sis in law broke down. She started crying like no tomorrow asking why they were being so mean and why they would do that to a human being just kick them out when they see it inconvenient to them. Well this other beautiful and kind hearted employee offered herself to us and said to give her 5 min to finish her current customers nails and then she'd help out my sis in law. And she did an amazing job! Through your the service she was kind, and never made us feel bad for what had gone down. She smiled and always asked if we liked the way the shape was if we liked the way the color looked... even asked if we wanted something to drink since drinks are free in the salon to customers. She was so sweet! Wish I got her name. Then also another lady helped finish off my sis in law and would give words of encouragement to her. Saying she is going to be okay and that her wedding will go well. Other customers as well joined in and have such kind and loving words to my sis in law. At the end her total was $45 I think. At that point those nails were worth paying for. Now going back to the original employee that messed up her nails... well he got so annoyed/mad that I guess he decided to leave. So he walked out mid nail repair... good because my brother ended up coming to check on us like 10 min later... he would have not liked to have seen my brother. And as for "the manager".... HE WASN'T EVEN THE MANAGER! Didn't even apologize for raising his voice and talking down on us. Well to be very clear all we wanted was to get the nails fixed, but this employee that supposedly was the manager thought we wanted to get free nails through a complaint. But no. I was attracted to this shop because of their vibrant color palates and the creativity of the artisans. On Tuesday, July 23, I had a fill in with cat eye nail polish, along with 2 marble designs, one on each hand. I also had a pedicure. Everything totaled $119. Two days later, Thursday, July 25, one of my nails was lifting and became tender to the touch. I went back later that Thursday afternoon and after waiting for more than 1/2 hour a young man began to attend to doing the repair. The lady who had attended to me was not in and he did not have the skills to do the cat eye. Seeing that I did not want to damage my nail any further, I opted to put on another color on the repaired finger instead of the cat eye. Why did I believe that seeing that I had just done my nails Tuesday and it was only 2 days later, the service would be complimentary. I was charged an additional 7 bucks!!! I have been getting my nails done there for about a year, sns. No problem with a solid color but I decided to try something different. I did clear nails, still sns with colorful tips. Nothing to fancy. Less than a week my nails started lifting. I went in the guy put nail glue around the cuticle area filed them down and put a clear gel polish on top. Less than two days later that peels off and the nails chip. I go back in (total inconvenience) he tells me he repair them once (via phone) and the lady said she will charge me $35 redo my nails. I told them I just paid $60 last week. He said I know but "I repaired once you go!" I told him okay they just lost a customer and I will not be going back. I really wanted to like this place, it's conveniently 2 minutes from my house and the staff is mostly friendly. I've been going here for about a year and at my most recent visit, I had a girl I had never seen before. She started with my pedicure and the water was so hot I'm surprised it wasn't boiling. Afterwards when she moved onto my fill, she cut my finger with the nail dremel and it was bleeding. She showed no signs of concern and just kept going, never cleaned it or anything. It cant be this hard to find a decent nail place. When I first got there I was told to pick a color and then 10 minutes later I was told to go to seat number 6. I was only getting a pedicure. I went to the seat and there was no water ran for me yet. I figured they were coming since they asked me to sit in the seat. I waited for 20 more minutes and then someone finally came and filled the soaker with water. The technician let me soak for another 10 minutes. By this time the thought of relaxation had gone out of the window. Unfortunately relaxing is one of the reasons I went in. The technician finally gets back to me to start and hands me a brochure. The starting price for a pedicure on this brochure was $25. I thought it was a little pricey but figured it came with an exfoliating scrub so it was fine. The technician does a good job on the acutal pedicure, however after I move to dry my feet, I find out that the standard pedicure is only $17. This is NOT posted anywhere in the shop and nor do they tell you. Another customer told me about it as she gladly paid her $17. The place is pretty run down and the pedicure stations are dingy. The technician did do a pretty good job. I will not be visiting this establishment again due to the lack of customer services, cleanness and ability to be truthful and upfront about prices. read more

I don't usually write reviews. I got in with a pedicure Waited about 7mins. Not a problem. My daughter who wanted a fill-in had to wait 45 mins. Way to long for a fill-in in my opinion. I got a manicure and pedicure and was told it was $30. my daughters fill in was $20. The grand total came to $85!!!!! They where very rough and rude. I wouldn't recommend this nail salon. read more

$104!!!! Never in my life have I EVER paid $104 for a pedicure and a manicure. My manicure was done on natural nails with no, not even a clear coat, polish! I wanted a $53 pedicure with chrome polish. The nail technician told me it would be an additional $20 for the chrome. I agreed and she proceeded to do my feet. The pedicure was alright, but nothing to write home about. The foot massage that supposedly came with the service I choose was non-existent, and the hot stone massage was just meh... It was clearly evident that the rocks were too hot for her to hold in her hands and she just wanted to be done with it. She rubbed them on my legs for about 4 minutes and moved in. She had another customer come in by the time she got to my hands, and was relieved that I didn't want a buff or polish of any kind. When I went to pay I was completely caught off guard when she put a calculator in front of me with $104 on the screen. When I questioned her about the price, she said I had to pay for gel polish AND for chrome. Again, when I initially asked for the polish she said it would cost me an extra $20 on top of the $53 for the pedicure that I picked. I will NEVER go back to this nail salon. I've been getting my nails done for over 25 years and I've paid a lot less for better quality, and I've never encountered shady practices when being charged for the services I've received. I had been going here for about 3 months but strictly for pedicures and to get my eyebrow waxed. I finally let the the tech do my nails. I had never had color acrylic (usually just gel nails) However, I've seen enough and watched You tube and Instagram videos to know how they are supposed to look. I watched her build the nails and was disappointed and she could tell. She started to handle my nails roughly to the point of them burning when she used nail polish remover to wipe away the huge mess she was making. I was there for almost 3 hours and was ready to leave. I came back the next day to let them know I was not happy and that I would like 2 nails in particular redone, not by the same tech. A new tech took over and redid one of the two nails I requested to be redone. I honestly wanted them all redone. They were having an entire conversation about the situation the whole time. I asked the new clerk to please be gentle with the drill as the previous tech I cut my fingers just the day before. SHE PROCEEDED TO BE JUST AS ROUGH AND CARELESS CAUSING ME TO BLEED AS IF I WAS CUT WITH A RAZOR. She ended up cleaning my finger with peroxide and putting ointment on it as you can see in the picture. When I reminded her to do the second nail she said "No, I only do one. It costs $53 dollars total. I will never go back. This place does not care about quality and customers, just the money. Definitely lost a repeat customer.
