I was very disappointed with the value of the pedicure services here. The prices for even the most basic pedicure are extremely high considering how little is actually included. Every time I have visited, they have only used soap and lotion on my feet and nothing more. What surprises me most is that they do not use any type of foot scrub during the service. A foot scrub is typically a basic part of a standard pedicure at most nail salons, yet it has never been included during any of my visits. There is very little exfoliation or foot care provided beyond washing and applying lotion. For the price being charged, I expected a much more thorough pedicure experience. Unfortunately, I do not feel the service justifies the cost, and I would not consider it a good value. If you're looking for a pedicure that includes the standard treatments most salons provide, you may be disappointed. read more

I was a "walk-in" at Nails TLC today, located near New MacLand and Richard Sailors in a strip mall in front of Home Depot. Jake did amazing!! I have never had my nails.slayed like this. Went on a Halloween weekend Around 5 so I was expecting to wait awhile. I went I'm for a Polish change and full set. The girl who did my feet did okay but my nails baaabaaaaay. LOVE. He apologized for the wait. Waited three hours but I was serviced in between that time so it didn't feel like it was that long. Well. Let's just say waiting almost 30 mins when you call ahead for an appointment is the first red flag. Not to mention - I went ahead and did my research and really dug deep into a really good nail salon. Well this is NOT IT. My nail tech was rude and kept hurting my hand over and over. He kept saying "Relax hand relax relax no move" even at some points getting annoyed at me. I have not been to a nail salon in years actual years. I do my own nails and I decided to try again and have someone do my nails for me. Well I regret the decision all the way. I told him I wanted coffin. And I also showed him the picture of how I wanted them to look. That is the 2nd picture from google. I asked him if he could do the marble effect - numerous nails salons I went to would easily do that effect no problem. He firmly said "NO." I wanted to leave because that is what I really wanted. But he was already working on my nails. He then began to cut them and before he even asked me the length he started cutting my pinkie nail. He said "that ok?" I said "..yeah..". So not only was he not able to do the effect I wanted - which is fine. Not all nail techs know how to do that. But I want to mention, I looked through all the reviews and pictures of other customers nails. And from going by the last picture with the purple nails - I thought they could easily do marble! So going from not getting the nails I wanted and also the length - i was pretty not happy with this whole visit. The whole time I was there from 6:03-7:24pm he did not talk to me at all, no conversations or anything. Just the back and forth of telling me not to move and shoving my hand to the fan and saying relax. This was a horrible horrible nail salon. Every other nail tech seemed happy and was having conversations with their customers. So I'm not sure what this man had against me. He was a bit older and wears a good bit of gold jewelry and had blonde highlighted hair. Then when I went to go pay he said something about the total. And the total should have been $45 but he mumbled something and gave me my card back and said "not 42 - 50!" So I awkwardly gave him another card.... He then watched me closely as I did the receipt and tip. Let's just say I did NOT give a TIP. I politely said thank you and he said nothing and I walked out the doors. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. I hate my nails #1 and I hated the service from the nail tech I had. Maybe if he was kinder he would have received a tip. Don't go here at all ladies and gentleman, save your money!!!!!!! read more

I left here feeling really disappointed. I really didn't even want to leave a tip but couldn't find it in my heart not to. First off I'd just like to say- as a mom of 3, nail days are far and few in between. So I look forward to going and it's expected to be pleasant and relaxing. The older gentleman was very brash, rough with my hands and fingers, and seemed easily aggravated. At one point I could feel such uncomfortable tension between us for whatever reason and just wanted to leave. He rushed through with little prep or clean up. You can see there are places on the edges that are not smooth, and paint sloppily on my cuticles. His tune changed at the end and said- "Do you like it?" And all I could say was "yes"... Honestly, I feel like he would have had an issue with me saying no. I would give it one star, but I have had a great experience here with Jake before. I have been here twice. I usually get gel polish. I do not like that they do not wrap your nails to remove the old color. Instead they put your fingertips in acetone which is bad for your skin. Then they scraped my nails so horribly with the metal stick while taking the polish off that my nails are now breaking and tearing and just all around look terrible! I had to go somewhere else and have S & S applied just to try to save my nails. I will not be going back here! read more

It looked like 1/2 was broken off. I respectfully pointed it out and he got so angry and YELLED at me "WELL I CAN'T DO FOR YOU!" Well that was apparent. I was so livid that I was shaking trying to calm down as I waited again. And trust me, if there was anywhere else I could've gone, I would have left. 2 customers that were there clearly saw what I was talking about concerning my 1/2 a damn nail. The Lord was working on me today, because he would have gotten the business 2 years ago! Oh yeah, he CUT ME TWICE!!!! On a nail that he wasn't even supposed to be working on! Didn't apologize or put any solution on it. Acted like it didn't happen. The gentleman who ended up ACTUALLY fixing my nail was very calm, polite and professional. He put the solution on my cut for me. I like him, but if it wasn't for MIIKKKEEEE, he would have a new customer. The only thing I didn't appreciate was that he acted like there was nothing really wrong with my nail. Have more respect for your customers. When he messes up, TELL HIM!! So that he won't victimize the next unsuspecting customer. Just okay. Got a gel polish change and pedi and both were okay. The mani slightly less so. For some reason my tech used a file to cleanup the edges of the nail after he finished. The result? Walked out of the salon with polish missing along the sides of several nails. It's been less than a week and I don't think I'll get two weeks out of this set. read more

I waited 45 minutes and was never updated on how much longer I would wait. I ended up leaving and traveling to Kennesaw the next day to get good customer service. This nail salon is one of two in the area, but both lack the customer service of other establishments. I've only been to this location once before and that was also an experience. It's really upsetting how they lack customer service because they know that nail salons are limited here. Don't waste your time here, spend your hard earned money at establishments that value thier customers. read more

I don't get my nails done every week because sometimes it is a hassle for me because I am handicapped and use a walker. My daughter from Charleston was visiting so I suggested that we go get manicures and pedicures while she was here to help me. We walked in and all the staff was helpful and told my daughter to enjoy - they assisted me getting in and out of the chair and let me sit there the entire time so I didn't have to move around!! I just gave my granddaughter money to treat her tomorrow, on her day off and I have appointments for me and youngest daughter this Wednesday as we get ready for a family cruise/destination wedding the following week. So I went to the neighborhood salon looking to get a simple manicure. I don't have any 'extra' anything on my nails. It was a bad experience almost from the time I arrived. I sat down and the tech came and looked at my nails. I said SOME of them needed to be cut down. She grabs the clippers and cuts the shortest nail on my hand. So close she nicked my skin! Well that was tech #1. Then in the midst of cutting the other nails, #1 gets up without a word and #2 sits down. She finishes and starts to polish gets through one coat and low and behold she gets up and #3 sits down! What!?!! Where does this happen? When I mentioned this to the manager his attitude was nonchalant. As a business in my neighborhood you serve at the pleasure of the patrons. Do you take my business and my patronage for granted?
