I have been to the salon several times but this in the worst experience I have ever had getting a manicure. I didn't have any polish on at all and only wanted gel. They used the drill on my nails and my nail beds are so sore and cut(see pics as this is only one hand) it hurt to put water on them. I will never go back again. Please be aware that it damages your nails and nail beds if you use the drill on them all the time. read more

I came in yesterday for the third time with an appointment. You take walk ins over your local clients who wish to make an appointment. Two times I've waited for 25-35 minutes WITH an appointment. Yesterday I made the decision to walk out after 10 minutes. I'm local and will never come in again. This is where all the locals go to get their nails done. They opened at 9:00 am on a Tuesday and by 9:06 there were seven of us there and all getting services. They are a very efficient crew, taking people quickly but taking care of. I had the "special" pedicure for a treat (the 3rd of four options) which included a salt scrub, lotion massage and paraffin treatment. The entire service took an hour and was well worth the $55 price. My technician was very thorough and careful to take care of everything on my haven't-been-pedicured-for-two-years toes. read more

My experience was very good. I called to make an appointment. I showed up a little early and they were able to accommodate me. My appointment consisted of an SNS removal and reapplication. I was in and out in under 1hr. It was amazing. No accidental nips to my cuticles. Tea was super quick, efficient, and skilled. My nails are amazing! Got my nails done here for the first time by "T." I'm a diva when it comes to my nails. The place was clean and bright and very inviting. I requested gel fills in an ombré French which is a bit out of the norm. I wanted them to look very natural. T was so patient with me and tried six different shades of pink powder until he got one that I liked. I wish I knew how to attach a picture so you could see how beautiful they are. I have had three SNS nails chip on the side corner within 2 days, I have been getting SNS nails for a couple of years and this has NEVER happened before. I am across the country on vacation so I am kind of out of luck. Not happy at all. They did go ahead and redo my nails, but it was very strange, they wouldn't talk to me and when it was done she just left. Another tech told me I could wash my hands, I came back and sat down thinking they would put cuticle oil or lotion on, but after I sat there a minute, the tech said I was done. I did leave a tip, but think the whole experience was very weird. And this set is very thick, don't think I will be going back. read more

It was an amazing experience! It is very nice and new inside... I appreciate the fact that they accept walk-ins. They made sure that we were taken care of. I got a gel manicure and so did my friend, both of the sets look amazing! I couldn't be more happy with the result! My wife's account: I went to this salon a few weeks ago and got a gel manicure the guy did okay but my gel lifted and cracked the next day. I thought maybe it was fluke so I decided to give them another chance. Went with my sister yesterday for a mani/pedi and it was the worst experience ever. The girl turned the water for the pedicures on, sat us down, and walked away. I put my feet in the water and it burned me immediately!! I had to sit with my feet in the air until someone came back. The water was so hot i could feel the steam from it on my face! The guy finally came and had to refill the thing because she used HOT water only. The appointment goes on and im looking at other peoples nails and they look fabulous and the techs are taking their time! So I am thinking my sister and I are going to get the same treatment. NOPE the guys rushed through our service, they skipped SO many steps, didnt cut the nails. He removed my old polish with the drill, dusted my nails off and started to paint. I had to stop him and ask if he could please cut and file my nails down. I was done with my mani/pedi in LESS than an hour. The work was rushed and so sloppy, the paint was splotchy, the work was not clean at all! I paid $80 and walked out. When i got outside in natural light was when I realized it was worse than I thought. I called my husband and he called the salon and asked if they could refund me and they said yes that I would just have to go back inside. I went back inside and asked for the refund and 2 guys and a girl came to the counter looking at my nails asking me what is wrong and why did i need a refund. I told them why and they said we can't give you a refund we can fix it. I said no i don't want it fixed I just want my money back. They kept inspecting my nails insisting nothing was wrong but then they said "we can take it off for you" i said thats fine i just want my money back. I go to a station and they throw a bowl of acetone on the counter and tell me to soak my nails for 10 min. While im waiting i look around and literally every person near me nails look great the techs are taking their time and making conversation. A group of girls walk in and they are so welcoming, they offered them beverages and everything. My sister and I received none of that. The lady finally comes to remove the soaked polish off and she is the most rude, condescending person I have ever encountered in my life. Everything she said, was said in the nicest tone. She starts talking and tells me my nail beds are too long and I probably should consider not getting my full nails painted and that I should do like tips or half moons which makes no sense at all but the conversation gets better. She's asking me where I am from and where i live and im literally just one word answering because im pissed. In the middle of that she looks up at me and says "you NEED your eyebrows done" exactly like that. It wasn't a question. Why are you voicing your opinions on my appearance. I said nothing to that and she then asks if I have kids and I say "no". She asks "why not" and i dont answer her because i have been struggling to have a baby and its a really tough subject to talk about. But she keeps on talking and says "you need to have kids while you are still young once you hit 30 you are too old and it makes them harder to take care of, I had my kids at 28 and 30 and I was done" ok like congrats for you who are you to say that to a customer. I am also OVER the age of 30 but she doesnt know all she is doing is running her mouth making me more and more upset. At this point my sister walks over to sit with me and before she sits down the lady looks up at her and says "ohh you have pretty long hair is it yours or fake!!???" How dare you ask someone of color that. I am 100% convinced that they are racist because she would have never asked another ethnicity if their hair was real or not. We were treated poorly and I only got a $35 refund, they didnt even refund me for the pedicure. So my nails are ruined and they still have most of my money. I will NEVER go back to this place ever again. read more

Went to get a gel mani and pedi and everything was great at first. The color I picked at first was very clumpy and old when the guy started putting it on. I told the guy I wanted a different color so I picked another pink. It's was okay until later in the day it started to fade and turn into a yellowish color. I haven't had time to go back since I'm busy at work. It's barely the second day and there is no pink visible anymore. The color is now a nasty pale yellow. Spent $70 for 2 hours of pain and suffering! The young male that typically answers the phone and books appointments....was my nail tech!! He clearly has never done nails before and I am quite sure he is not licensed. I will be reporting my ordeal to the NC Department of Consumer Affairs. He filed my skin and dug his scissors into my skin to the point I was crying. The owners watched and did nothing to intervene. Other customers were yelling for him to stop. Needless to say I will never go back to Diamond Nails even though I have been a customer since it opened. Please be careful everyone!!!! read more
