I firmly believe the callous remover stuff she put on my feet burned my skin. My daughter's polish in the first photo just came off for no reason. The photo of my feet at the end of all this, you can see how red around my big toe it was. Within a day, my toenail completely came off, I've been to the doctor about it once already and have to be very careful about infections. I've left THREE MESSAGES for the shop owner and no one will call me back. THESE PHOTOS ARE PRETTY EMBARRASING, but I've been having to put bandaids on all these places to keep from getting infections. I can't wear flip-flops anymore, that's for sure!!! Besides the feet, the lady then talked us into getting our eyebrows waxed. All the while my sugar was TANKING and I kept telling her we have to leave or it's going to be an emergency. She then FORCEFULLY waxed my LIP after I told her I don't have hair on my lip. Made me turn over for a "massage" while she climbed on the bed with me. It was HILARIOUS at the time, but also very scary. We just wanted to get out of there. $230 later, I had to pay for the waxing I didn't want, and for the BUTCHER of my poor feet. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They won't even call me back, y'all.

Then, I used the nail grinder on my cuticles after applying acrylic, which cut me. Did not clean between clients, had me set down in a dirty table of someone that had just finished. Did not clean dust after filing or off his hands, so nail color was full of dust. Had to ask for cuticle oil. I brought in a nail decal since they are clueless about nail art and asking to apply prior to the top coat and charged $5.00 per nail. He did nothing but stick the sticker down. I had to ask for two top coats because one does not seal and hold up after their aggressive filing. My fingers have been sore now for four days with cuts and burns. Health Department needs to check out their place. Don't go there. Update 1-24-2023: I went to a great saloon in Shallotte to get my nails filled and repaired. In taking off the polish off, I ended up with fungus under two nails. This place caused this by not properly cleaning their space, between clients and using dirty tools, and not properly preparing my nails. Horrible place. If you want fungus, try them out!

I got an ingrown toenail and a nasty fungal infection from the same appointment. I booked pedicures…read morea week in advance with a friend who came down from Wilmington. Our pedicures started at the same time. About 5 minutes in-- a regular of my nail tech walks through the door and asks the guy if he has time to "squeeze her in". He tells her to "give him 5 minutes." He proceeds to rush through my pedicure. Cold water. No massage. He cuts my big toenail at an angle instead of trying to get a little bit of dirt out from under the corner of my toenail that he noticed when removing some leftover polish. (This became a painful ingrown toenail). He slaps some paint on my toes and rushes off to help this other woman. I sat in the lobby for 25 minutes listening to him chit chat with the walk-in while my friend got her feet massaged and actually receives the pedicure service that we both booked in advance, and got charged the same amount for. Terrible service and obviously uncleanly. It wasn't worth the ingrown toenail, the fungal infection, or the money I paid.

Selected light pink nail polish so clean edges weren't super critical. Oh my gosh. The polish was so messy and uneven I took it off the next day. Could be uneven because she poured nail polish remover in it to think it out. Girlfriend had never had a pedicure before and only one or two manicures. She asked for regular polish. I heard her clearly say regular. Gentleman did gel and charged her more.
