Everyone I know has some sort of story of how awful you guys are. On saturday, I parked, walked to the kiosk to pay, even came back to get my license plate, and paid for parking. Came back to my car to find a ticket on my windshield with the exact same time stamp as my receipt for paying. Mind you, I saw the parking enforcer walking around, and I exchanged glances and smiles with him, and he WATCHED ME PARK. If he was paying attention to his job, he would have realized I was actively paying as he ticketed me and had only been there for less than a minute. My friend's work has had to have multiple discussions with you guys for ticketing them IN THEIR PAID PARKING SPACES. Diamond parking is a joke. We paid for parking in Spokane have a receipt for it I get a bill for the parking fee which is more than we paid that night and a late fee. I never got a parking ticket or a bill to pay it and why would I think I had a bill WHEN WE PAID FOR PARKING! We contacted them to dispute it they said we paid the city of Spokane and need to request a refund from them and pay the bill they sent us. Sounds like a scam to make a ton of money. I normally park in the USBank parking lot and use my parking app to pay. Today, that wasn't available - and there was no other way of paying - I parked there expecting that it would be ok. Was issued a ticket for $46 via Diamond. Tried calling, the automated system routes you around in circles with no option to talk to a person. This is unacceptable and predatory. Obviously this company has no good reviews, that says enough. Predatory parking practices are unacceptable. I parked in a lot to get a tattoo which went longer than I had originally anticipated. I was unable to check my phone during the tattoo, so I didnt notice my parking had expired for about 30 min. I immediately started a new session, paid for an hour over the time I actually stayed, and got a $60 parking ticket. I called their support service and explained what had happened. I waited a week, and they decided to reduce the amount of the ticket but not forgive the debt, even though there was no way for me to have anticipated the lapse and having paid for more total time than I spent in the lot. Tried paying with the machine in the parking lot but it denied both my CC and my debit card. Ended up using the QR code to pay, which I did successfully. Came out from the event to a parking ticket. I disputed it and got an Email that said they're looking into it but if you ask them for updates, they will deny your claim. WTF kind of customer service is that? We have a right to ask and should not be threatened due to it. It's been over a week, no reply from them on my dispute so now I'm sitting on hold to see if they've dismissed the ticket I never should have gotten in the first place. We were unloading some things out of my trunk and our hands were full. The parking lot that we parked in, only had the option of a QR code scanner. My phone had just died right when I parked so I needed to go up to his apartment to get a charger and come back down to pay. Fast forward to us getting up to the apartment and uploading the heavy things out of our hands. We must have been in the apartment for a total of less than 2 minutes, when my boyfriend looked out the window and told me I was being ticketed. I laughed because I seriously thought he was joking. There was a moment of silence and then we ran down there and tried to explain the circumstances to the two gentlemen who had just ticketed me. The one guy said he straight up didn't care and that it was already done. The other guy said he wad just training and it was his first day (lol dude get a different job). I ended up calling them to dispute it and they said the best they could do is reduce it to 10 dollars. So I ended up paying 10 dollars for parking my car in a spot for less than 5 minutes to get a phone charger. Don't even think about blinking after you park your car or turn your back before paying because these guys are fucking vultures. So, i paid the ticket, great. I was going to be parking here regularly when I was going to be visiting my boyfriend so I decided to be the responsible adult that I am, and purchase a permit because I was having to renew my parking every morning at 5 am since it would only let me park for a certain amount of time. Annoying. I ended up purchasing a January and a February permit for a total of 180 dollars. 180 dollars I could have spent elsewhere that would have been way more worth it. But oh no, it costs to park a piece of metal on the sidewalk. Who knew!? Fast forward a couple of days later, there's another ticket on my car. At this point I'm just fucking done. I crumpled it and threw it off my windshield but then of course later went back to pick it up because duh. So I called Diamond and they said if I don't have a permit displayed in my window that they can still ticket me. Well GUESS WHAT my permits still hadn't arrived in the mail. AND on their end. When they scan your license plate, they can't see if you had already previously paid for a parking permit I guess? And also weren't a responsible enough company to send you a temporary permit electronically so you could have the option of possibly printing it out, up until your actual permit came in the mail. So the guy on the phone explained to me that I was going to continue getting ticketed until I had that amazing 90 dollar piece of fucking paper hanging from my rear view mirror. Awesome. So bottom line is y'all suck and have nothing better to do with your lives and if you're going to charge an arm and a leg for permits then get it together and find a way to get someone a temporary one until the actual one comes in the mail. I pay for two monthly passes in one of diamonds lots in downtown spokane outside my apartment...never have I seen such a poorly designed or mismanaged lot. Every Friday or Saturday someone parks right next to the sidewalk, completely blocking the only entrance/exit. No problem, just call diamond and have them towed right? Wrong. There is no after hours number to call, and the towing company can't do anything without authorization from Diamond. I have contacted the local office three times about this and nothing has been done. Wish we had another option for parking. I worked for the company and organization and if you all want to know the skinny, they are very poorly managed. Day to day, week to week how they interpret voids and other reductions change, training of staff is done by other agents who never are trained by managers, the manager has hired most of his friends sons so if you call in, it's very much done by this and this design. Most of the employees call in, very seldom do they have a full staff, and the manager himself checks very little of his applications to the job. They rarely have team meetings and let alone manager meetings. Most of the errors are from lot checkers entering in wrong information or wrong license plates entered in by customers. I was literally terminated after bringing a series of complaints to their forefront then after this was done the manager had friends of his children continuously make complaints. The office and managers often make sexist, racist and homophobic comments and are run like a circus. They have have changed managers over and over again to include myself. So if you wonder why the company seems like they don't care, they don't. They don't even care about their staff because they harass and harangue good employees so why would they care about you? They also have threatened to fire people over talking about wages. So it's not that they are incompetent or inept, there is a culture of fear and retribution and a culture of no training and even less for standards. read more

In 2022 I parked in the same lot 5 times and payed with the mobile app "parkmobile" as advertised. 4 of those times I was ticketed "no advance payment" because diamond parking couldn't be bothered to check. keeping in mind that this lot is strewn with junkies and I was now being extorted by Diamond, I resolved to park 4 blocks away and walk to work over the past year. due to construction walking so far was no longer possible, so today I was forced to park with diamond. I arrived, scanned the QR code on their sign and followed the steps to pay for 8 hours of parking. I waiting in my vehicle for 5 minutes until the confirmation receipt email arrived (that was their excuse for trying to double charge me previously). I did my work and when I returned to my vehicle 5 hours later I had a notice of "no advance payment" and their ticket extorting another $50. working in security I've gotten familiar with scams, especially digital, and this company is checking the boxes; digital con jobs focus on putting off their victims until the victim gives up without restitution. I don't have infinite free time to dispute their system every day and it's causing real harm wasting time to have to park so far away. instead of providing campgrounds for crackheads, diamond parking needs to render the services being agreed upon without shaking down paid customers for more money. read more

Avoid parking with Diamond! i was charged $68 for 5 hours of parking in downtown Seattle - the initial 4 hours were $31, then I added an extra hour. The PaytoPark showed a charge of $37, which from my previous use of the app indicated that the the total amount charged after the additional hour was $37. Diamond claims that there were "event parking" notices which superseded normal rates - this is total bullshit. There was a Diamond parking lot employee lurking in the parking lot and as soon as you walked away from your car he issued a $46.50 ticket. Almost every car in the lot received a ticket. instead of telling people the lot had recently changed and you now have to pay to park, which I would have gladly done, knowing it would have been a small percentage of the ticket. Literally a bunch of con artists. Recently traveled to Spokane for a sporting event for I parked in one of their parking lots. Signage that was posted did throughly explain how to prepay for your parking digitally via your phone to which I followed explicitly. I will say that part of the payment process was very straight forward and easy. Confirmed my space and received email confirmation of receipt. 3 hours into the 10 hour period for which I paid I was given a citation and now trying to contact the main office about this dispute is next to impossible. One of the worst companies I've ever seen. On their signs they claim to have 24 hr towing, security, and any other help you may need, yet they do nothing if you call. The best part is that it doesn't matter if you pay or not, there's a good chance that they'll ticket you anyway. I got a ticket for "improper parking" - on closer inspection, I could see some brown paint, but it was an honest mistake (Diamond had not cleared the yellow parking lines, so I thought it was a legitimate spot.) I also get to work at 6am and the parking lot isn't well-lit. I immediately called "Sally" at Diamond Parking and politely asked if she could waive the fee, saying I wouldn't do it again and explaining that I could see parking lines. I know people who get tickets waived even if they don't pay at all! (In fact, I've been ticketed before because the parking guy rushed through and gave me a ticket instead of my coworker who was parked next to me and hadn't paid.) Anyway, Sally told me that I would need to pay the ticket anyway and she wouldn't waive it. I've had parking tickets because I forgot to pay, and I always paid them.... Diamond needs to get their act together (or at least PAINT THEIR LOTS PROPERLY) for their constant paying customers. I'm extremely disappointed. Diamond parking services uses a "bait and switch" tactic. Even after paying for public parking, they will issue you a ticket. PLEASE look at ratings and comment at the Better Business Bureau. Event parking - Ha! Taking up two parking spots...BS. "improper parking", During Bloomsday parking was free on the street, but I chose to use the parking area, wrong choice. Not even half of the "Event" parking was used but since I had a full size PU and parked in a corner spot and it wasn't marked for Compact, apparently I was taking up the other corner spot, thus I must pay for that spot also. Be aware...those corner spots were designed to make money for the lot, whether the lot is empty or not. A compact car could have pulled into that spot but..... I will never use Diamond parking AGAIN. read more
