They require their employees to punch out of their time clock when going to the bathroom and they ticket by mistake. You've been warned!

Horrible customer service, your representative was so high on meth (or something) he was shaking too much to hold a conversation.

I remember years ago on my first trip to Spokane as an adult, seeing that large Parkade sign from…read morethe distance sprung something up in me. I couldn't quite tell what it was at first. Was it just one of those things that screamed 1960s? Was it one of those peculiar instances where something seems so out of sorts? Spokane already is one of those cities that doesn't really have common sort to it so there's no making 100% sense of this. But today I had a chance to look more into it. This building just screams 1960s! Like every single aspect of it. The angles, the large, curved sign that's on top of the elevator shaft, the elevators which I think are original from the day it opened, to the awnings outside that connect to the skywalks. I mean really! They should film a movie here. Anyway I went in on a Sunday evening and even though the signs said it closed at 6:30, they said you could use your ticket to get in and pay after hours. It made me a bit nervous knowing that if no one was there, I wouldn't be able to get to my car. But more on that later. I parked on the top floor for fun and the top floor actually has a pretty good view! The ceiling goes very high so you don't feel very claustrophobic up there. There's views all around and everything is still screaming 1960s. The elevator ride down was jerky and quick. Definitely made in the time when elevators gave people motion sickness. I went and saw my movie down the street and as I returned after 830, I had my ticket in hand. I went back to the elevator door and the sign clearly said scan your ticket to gain entrance. I did and the door unlocked giving me access to the elevator bay. I went back up to my car, drove down the quick circular ramp that's sort of like an expressway down, and got to the end. I put my ticket in, followed with a credit card, and voila I was out! But wait! There was a gate blocking my way out to the street. No worries though, A sign indicates to drive up to it and it will magically open. And it did. The ramps are steep, the architecture is something out of a movie, and my experience was great. May they never tear this place down...

    Spokane International Airport - GEG

As small or medium sized airports go, Spokane international does a pretty good job. On several…read moreoccasions, we have arrived there to find absolutely zero people in the TSA queue... as another reviewer suggested, the airport is like a ghost town from time to time. This does leave you with that little feeling of cognitive dissonance when you arrive an hour and a half or two hours early as suggested by literally everyone... But I suppose there is some level of comfort in having extra time awaiting your flight versus racing the clock and hoping you make it. The ladder option is something we have never experienced at Spokane. For the last couple of years, the airport seems to have been under perpetual construction in one way or another: inside restaurants, accommodations, paths of travel, etc. We tend to fly Southwest, so that particular terminal currently has a good chunk of its restaurants and shops boarded up with constant power tool noises coming from behind the wall. But honestly, we're not here for $19 burgers or overpriced gift shop Crap - - we just want to arrive at the gate, board the plane, efficiently, and get onto our destination. Spokane airport does a good job of that. The gate tends to be very close to baggage claim, which is very close to car rental. Did I mention this is a fairly small airport? Overall, I don't mind flying in or out of here. Sure, half the people you see their look like human manifestations of South Park characters, but that's hardly the airport's fault.

Pretty good airport. Clean, decent food options, and easy to navigate…read more Some issues include the security lines as they are somewhat slow. Other issue is that there is not enough seating and tons of people crowd the area.
