This is the wound on my dog!!

We have taken our Dogs there once and liked it. Tried again took a chunk of skin off my dog (10lb Pekingese) covered it up with a Bandanna, said nothing about it!! Wouldn't answer any calls today.

Great !!!!!5 stars I have a 14 year old Pomeranian that Courtney has taken care of for 5 years now , would never take him anywhere else

We have been taking out mini goldendoodle here since we got her in the spring, so probably about 4 visits-ish... everytime she comes out looking great! My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

Great place. May not look like much from the outside, but what you get when you walk in is great, friendly care for their human and furry clients. I was super nervous about taking my 8 month old Australian Shepard groomed for the first time. We had my puppy get a Show dog cut (more natural look for Aussies). We were able to discuss the cut before hand and she took time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. I left feeling that my puppy was in great hands and he was. Great affordable pricing and some fun extras you can get too. We I got back - my Pistachio (our Aussie) looked so handsome. I will definitely use them again. Thank you Diamond Pet Salon!

    no longer stinky boy

Our dog chased down a skunk and we attempted the ole peroxide, baking soda and dawn rub down/wash. It helped a bit, but boy he was still radiating that smell. Called Diamond pet salon and they were able to take him in immediately!! They have a destink specialty wash I found online and after a couple hours he was ready to be picked up. WOW what a difference they made!! Service was awesome, staff super friendly, check this place out if your looking for any grooming services

    Thank you Diamond!

Diamond pet salon treats pets like family. They love their furry clients and it shows! These ladies have been working in grooming for 15+ years. Many salons in the area don't do cat grooming however Diamond salon does! My princess was handled with care & the girls ensured me she would be well taken care of. It was her first groomer experience but she was given lots of love, a hair bow, and mouse toy! The staff was very loving & it truly showed when I picked her up she was not in a panic but seemed very comfortable! Prices are good & they do walk in nails as well! She looks beautiful & we will definetly be returning!

Disgusting! They kept my cat for grooming in a cage for 7 hours both times I came here. Never again!

Any trained groomer should know that whiskers are not cosmetic--they are vital sensory organs that help cats with balance, navigation, and emotional regulation. They should never be trimmed under any circumstance! I paid to have her professionally groomed so that this would not happen if I endeavored to do this at home. When I contacted the groomer about this, she was defensive and refused to take any responsibility. I had to take my cat to the vet due to the distress this caused her, and I politely asked the groomer to help cover the vet bill since this was clearly caused by her negligence. Instead of doing the right thing, she refused to reimburse anything and then told me not to contact her again. This is not just about a grooming mistake--it's about a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic animal welfare knowledge. A business that handles animals should care about their well-being, but that was not my experience here. I would absolutely not trust this groomer with any animal. If you love your pet, take them somewhere safe. They deserve better.

We usually saw Amanda, who is now longer with them which I knew because I did receive an email. When I arrived, I was told by Cassidy that the appointment was now with her. I questioned this, but she seemed confused and insisted I had booked with her. I assumed I had made a mistake--but after checking my confirmation, I was right: I had booked with Jessica. The appointment was for our 10-pound Maltipoo, who needed a full shave-down after a week of camping. He was definitely a mess, but nothing out of the ordinary. What was unexpected was the way he behaved the next day--clearly uncomfortable and not himself. I called several times, but no one answered the phone. When I finally received a call back the next day, I was told nothing had happened and that they had no idea what was wrong. They scheduled a phone call with the owner, Christine, for Saturday. I made adjustments to my work schedule to be available. Saturday came and went--no call. I didn't hear from Christine until Wednesday, and by then I had already taken my dog to the vet twice, spending hundreds of dollars. The diagnosis: post-grooming furunculosis, most likely caused by clippers. (Per my vet) We played phone tag for a week, and when I finally connected with someone, it was an employee who apologized on behalf of the owner for the missed call. I never heard directly from Christine again--despite knowing a serious issue occurred under her business's care. The lack of accountability and professionalism was extremely disappointing. And you can save your generic copy and paste response to all the other yelp reviews that I'm currently now seeing it took me a while to write this because I was really upset and had I wrote this immediately my review would be much worse. To make matters worse, they also missed clipping his dew claws. We will absolutely not be returning. A sincere follow-up from the owner could have gone a long way--but unfortunately, that never happened. I am happy to report. I did find the location where Amanda is grooming and will make the trip out to Rochester just to see her knowing I never had a problem.

I had booked with Melissa " The Doodle Whisperer" and was told it would be a 2 week wait for an appt with her as she was in high demand. I was willing to wait to insure a proper groom. When I arrived for the appt., I find that Melissa had left along with most of the other regular groomers weeks before I had made the appt. This is what is now coming out of the Salon under " Doodle Delux" grooming service. His skin has been sheared in several places and he is chewing, scratching and licking these burned areas continuously. In response to this shockingly unprofessional hatchet cut, the manager responded that my dog is a " squirmer" and a "shaker" and attempting to shift blame on him. Interesting since he always looked pristine before the old crew left. I fear for what the dogs experience here when the owners leave them. Lisa Bach
