Bleh. Diamond Shoe Repair is NOT worth recommending, you guys! I brought in three pairs of shoes, two of which required minor gluing, and one pair of leather sneakers to be cleaned. The work they did was incomplete (partial and mediocre sneaker cleaning) and damaged (scuffed and irresponsibly stressed the leather) one pair. The shop charged me $97.00. I didn't even think to take "before" photos...gah! I'm bummed. Either my experience was unusually bad, or the many 5-star reviews of this place are whack-a-do. read more

Bought a vintage purchase in Japan but the zipper wasn't closing (the teeth were a little stretched so sometimes it'd close, but then open up again). Saw the 5 star reviews (thanks Yelpers!) and came in to see what they could do. It was $40, ready in days and looks brand new. I'm excited to use my new vintage purse! Read some reviews about it being a little messy, unclean. It seems like a father & son, 2 person crew that focuses on repairs and vacumm. After my purse strap broke and I found out my usual shoe/leather repair shop had closed, a Yelp search brought me here. The plethora of 5 star reviews, many from people I know, was a good sign that I'd be in good hands here. A few reviews noted that it was a little on the pricier side, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and that was the case here! I also have no clue what a purse strap repair would cost since it's been many years since I had to get one, so when I was told $20 at pickup, it was absolutely worth it to me to have my favorite bag back. I dropped my bag off on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. The place is super old school, no exchanging of information, just a tag to redeem my bag, so there's a chance it may have even been ready sooner. This was my first time ever going to this particular shoe repair shop. I honestly haven't found a good repair shop since the pandemic. This place had so many great reviews and the owner seems very true to his craft. I figured I could use them to fix my boots in a timely matter! Hee. As the gentleman was inspecting my shoes, the other heel broke off the bottom from the other shoe. Which was perfect because the gentleman said he would fix both of them at the same time. When one heal goes out, the other one usually goes out shortly after. I'm honestly glad he has that Type of rule in place because I had worn these shoes to my boyfriend's holiday party and had my heel break there, I would've been utterly embarrassed!! The gentleman was able to fix my shoes in about four days and it was only $40!! Great deal since I bought the shoes for about $40.10 years ago!! They're so comfortable I just can't give them up! The only thing I think that is somewhat negative would be the parking lot and my GPS. Lol my GPS told me to go through the light at Bascom and turn left into the plaza. I found out I couldn't actually turn left into the plaza unless I went to the next light and then made a U-turn and turned into the plaza, but that was the only thing and I'm sure it's just my GPS. Lol but everything else was great with my experience!! I also have two holes in some UGG snow boots that the gentleman said he can fix as well. I have a pair of booties I love but they've definitely seen better days. The boots were scuffed and the soles were extremely worn. My sisters took them here to get resoled and Diamond Shoe Repair did an amazing job. The man who worked on my shoes recommended a full resoling which was MUCH needed. They were quoted $100 for my booties. I got my shoes back after a week or so and I'm delighted with the work done on my shoes. My booties look refreshed and they're much more comfortable now. My soles actually have some traction plus my feet are more cushioned and supported. They even kindly painted over some of my scuffs. I will definitely be coming back with my other leather shoes in the future. My sisters had also gone to a different cobbler before and were happier with this shop's work even though it costed a bit more than the other shop. read more

I couldn't bear to throw away these boots because they are my favorite. The back side of both heel blocks was pitted, scratched, and scraped from years of wear, so I decided to try getting them repaired. Off to Diamond Shoe Repair I went! The owner, George, explained my options: either dye the existing vinyl and try to cover up the scratches and scrapes, or replace the vinyl wrapped around the heel block with leather -- and make them look like new. I chose the pricier option to entirely replace the vinyl with leather, and I am SO happy I did! I forgot to take a "before" photo, but here is the "after" photo of the completed, leather-wrapped heel blocks. My boots look like new! I can't wait to start wearing them again. I found this place because I get my lashes done a couple doors down. I was looking for a cobbler to add a couple holes to my louboutin straps. Brought them in and the gentleman suggested a rubber sole bottom to avoid scratches on the paint. Didn't even knw that was a thing. Helps from slipping and having to get them re lacquered from scuffs. (Which I had already done a couple times). Brought another pair in to get stretched and resoled as well. They are super quick and kind. Definitely recommend. They prefer cash, which I totally get because I am a small business owner as well. Most people think it's to avoid taxes but it's mainly to save on credit cards transactions fee which most of the time customers complain about.
