Great stitching, looks as good as new!
Katie R.

After my purse strap broke and I found out my usual shoe/leather repair shop had closed, a Yelp search brought me here. The plethora of 5 star reviews, many from people I know, was a good sign that I'd be in good hands here. A few reviews noted that it was a little on the pricier side, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and that was the case here! I also have no clue what a purse strap repair would cost since it's been many years since I had to get one, so when I was told $20 at pickup, it was absolutely worth it to me to have my favorite bag back. I dropped my bag off on a Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. The place is super old school, no exchanging of information, just a tag to redeem my bag, so there's a chance it may have even been ready sooner. Bag looked as good as new and I couldn't even tell where the stitches he made were. Would absolutely come back here in the future for shoe and bag repairs!

Before repair

Dropped off my backpack which had a loose strap and picked it up next day with a secure & evenly stitched repair for $25! Person was very nice as well.

custom leather work - belts!
Tom G.

just picked up my Italian leather belt and Kyrie Irving Basketbsll shoes after repair. What great service, quality work, and value. the belt was bought in Italy and the shoes were approximately $200 so it was great to get them fixed and put back into service. While there I checked out the quality used vacuums, repaired luggage with new wheels, new shoe inserts, 100s of new shoe laces for sale, and belts new sizes and leather to make custom belts. So just more possibility for getting valuable used products with no ebay, amazon, facebook marketplace, nextdoor, or mercari sales and shipping fees. why not show up to negotiate a great price on a working and guaranteed used product from a shop that stands by their work. Let's keep our local cobblers and vacuum repair services going! Omg- my plastic heels broke and the Gentleman here added RUBBER Soles to them! $40-and I'll get another 10 years out of them! Hee

This was my first time ever going to this particular shoe repair shop. I honestly haven't found a good repair shop since the pandemic. This place had so many great reviews and the owner seems very true to his craft. I figured I could use them to fix my boots in a timely matter! Hee. As the gentleman was inspecting my shoes, the other heel broke off the bottom from the other shoe. Which was perfect because the gentleman said he would fix both of them at the same time. When one heal goes out, the other one usually goes out shortly after. I'm honestly glad he has that Type of rule in place because I had worn these shoes to my boyfriend's holiday party and had my heel break there, I would've been utterly embarrassed!! The gentleman was able to fix my shoes in about four days and it was only $40!! Great deal since I bought the shoes for about $40.10 years ago!! They're so comfortable I just can't give them up! The only thing I think that is somewhat negative would be the parking lot and my GPS. Lol my GPS told me to go through the light at Bascom and turn left into the plaza. I found out I couldn't actually turn left into the plaza unless I went to the next light and then made a U-turn and turned into the plaza, but that was the only thing and I'm sure it's just my GPS. Lol but everything else was great with my experience!! I also have two holes in some UGG snow boots that the gentleman said he can fix as well. So I will definitely be going back to him to have him fix my soul. Hahaha

Nike SB Valentines Day Dunks

Had a pair of very expensive Vintage Tiffany Box Era Nike SBs that needed delicate work done to them, this place did an incredible job at restoring the midsoles back to the uppers. I would highly recommend them for any shoes that need restoration. I do restorations myself and I know how much time and effort goes into it, and they are incredibly affordable especially when it's something that requires the right tools, patience and skill.

Well-loved booties, freshly resoled
Vanessa N.

I have a pair of booties I love but they've definitely seen better days. The boots were scuffed and the soles were extremely worn. My sisters took them here to get resoled and Diamond Shoe Repair did an amazing job. The man who worked on my shoes recommended a full resoling which was MUCH needed. They were quoted $100 for my booties. I got my shoes back after a week or so and I'm delighted with the work done on my shoes. My booties look refreshed and they're much more comfortable now. My soles actually have some traction plus my feet are more cushioned and supported. They even kindly painted over some of my scuffs. I will definitely be coming back with my other leather shoes in the future. My sisters had also gone to a different cobbler before and were happier with this shop's work even though it costed a bit more than the other shop.

Went in to (a) fix some dress shoes whose soles became detached, and (b) fix a broken luggage. They delivered on both tasks on time.

Had leather boots with a sole that came unglued. Repair was done quickly (within a day) and very reasonably priced ($20).

I received an apology and my shoes were delivered. When I did receive my shoes three of the five pairs I received as follows: A black pair of shoes that needed elastic repair, only one shoe was repaired with what seem to be brown elastic for a black shoe. Brown elastic is visible. Another pair of shoes needed to be re-glued as they were leather on plastic base, (this seems to happen a great deal lately, even with Prada, Christian Dior, etc. ) the super high heels that have leather, the leather comes off of the base, which is made out of some sort of plastic. I inquired if they could fix this, and they said that they would try. What occurred was that there is now glue on the leather, which was not previously damaged but now is. And there is glue residue not only on the leather, but on the acrylic/resin base. The third pair, I needed toe taps and I wanted the nailed in taps and was talked into glued taps ( more expensive) as you can see the tap is peeling. It is my experience that it's getting very, very hard to find a good cobbler. And I thought I had found one, according to the reviews, but apparently I have not. I would appreciate if the business owner replied to this review to perhaps better understand why these were delivered this way. I do want to mention that I received a 20% discount for my troubles in reaching them regarding the delivery of my shoes. I did not think the discount has to do with the workmanship.

I'm so happy to have found a great cobbler. His work was flawless. Would definitely go backread more

Rating is based three aspects: Repair was for a Leather…read moreOlakai Flip Flip toe post repair. My hope was to get another year out of the sandal because the sole o the flips flops are still good. 1. Customer Service 2. Quality Of Work 3. Price Point 1. Customer Service - Poor. I question to if the repair of my sandal can be done it was met with riddle like responses and story about being a bootmaker not teacher and the history of His family and studies in Oxford, England. While I can appreciate a trade and family lineage of craftsmanship, which was one reason to take my sandal their as well as to support local businesses. I found his stories, about history, and telling an attorney that his handmade shoes would be done when he feels inspired to make them. His story about working in his youth, so now he can have the luxury to sleep in was unnecessary...and he came across as condensing. His repsonses and stories had little to do with the repair I came in for. 2. Poor Quality of repair. First used red thread, which may blend in stood out to me, and it does not match the sandal with brown leather, After 1 day of wear, the thread has come undone, and the post is inwrapping. I would have been better off purchasing a new pair, or going to anther shoe repair shop that may have giving me a truthful and professional opinion. I feel I wasted $75, and he did not care about the repair. I had hoped he would have taken more care in honoring his trade, which most craftsman do, but in this case he did not. This repair may have been insignificant and lacked importance to the bootmaker, but it was important to me and I was trusting his expertise. I feel if he did not want to do the repair, then refer the job elsewhere. 3. Price Point: for this particular repair, the price point was OVERPRICED, especially since the sandle was not being opened up, and the thread broke after 4 hours of use. While I cannot speak for his expertise in boot repair, I can speak to this repair. I suggest for those seeking repair and/or shoes made, to look for other cobblers that respect their trade more, and customers no matter how big or small the repair is. For me Quality, Care, and Quality Customer Service are things I considered. I gave the bootmaker an opportunity. I will not be going back.

I should of followed the other ratings and gone somewhere else. I was so disgusted I took it and left. I'll take it to someone else to correct it.
