I wish I could find the photos I'd taken back when my partner picked up our faux feather bed (earlier this year) from NextGen, but alas, they're nowhere to be found. What I'd like to point out first, is that the super kind human who took our order was absolutely that: super kind. My partner and I felt good about our research and choice of NextGen, and the wire rack piled to the top with comforters, mattress pads and other bedding only furthered our confidence. Sadly, once we removed the bed from the bag, I felt confused that perhaps the wrong item had been picked up. It looked nearly identical to when we'd first brought it to NextGen, but with quite a few more strands of (different lengths) of hair stuck to it throughout. Secondly, almost every quilted square of the bed had faux filling bunched up in a variety of balls--I had originally purchased the square patterned bed to avoid this problem once cleaned. :( I wanted to bring my item back immediately, however, my health at the time did not allow it. I gave two stars for the kind atmosphere. P.s. I am attaching a very faded receipt, with the word, "wait" written at the top, because I felt it so important to write a review. The only place I found in SJ that was able to do my vintage suede leather coats. Although a bit pricey, they do value your items and take care of them. I brought NextGen Cleaners my leather motorcycle pants that my cat had deemed unacceptable in our house (she peed on them three times!). NextGen is just awesome! I happened to have suits coming in late through shipment and needed alterations (hems on both suit jackets and pants) and pressings done within 48 hours as I had a flight to catch. I was looking for alterations and cleaners and NextGen was able to respond extremely quickly to my request. Not only were they able to reassure me that they were able to get the alterations done, but they would be done before my flight and for what I thought was an extremely affordable price. At this point I was a bit nervous as seeing the alterations and pressings were done in such a small amount of time and for a relatively low price. I was shocked to find that when I got all three back they were expertly altered exactly to the measuring pins that me and my mother were able to put in. Not only that but the hem on the pants and on the jacket were expertly done, an exquisite surprise especially under the time circumstances. All in all, NextGen is the best and in the future I will be continuing to get all my clothes cleaned and altered here. Due to lack of preparation on my end, I was not prepared for my professional headshot scheduled tomorrow as my white dress shirts were not clean. Probably one of the best cleaners that we have ever come across. Courteous staff who live and breath customer care and success in every single interaction with the customer and deliver amazing results with their cleaning and alterations. They make sure they have all the information around for clothes that maybe missing washing instructions and they definitely call it out to avoid any surprises when its time to pick these up. During one my visits to pick up clothes that i had given for dry cleaning i forgot to pick up a dress suit that had been given prior to the lot that i was going to pick up and i completely forgot about it. Late in the evening (before the day of wedding, when i needed the suit) i realized the mistakßåe , and with the slightest of hopes sent out a message on the number that i had procured from Yelp to see if there was a ray of hope. Sure there was one and Emil responded stating that he would be at the store at 6:00 AM (next day) or so which was just perfect as we were to leave around 6:30 from our house. Definitely a fan of this place. Took some of my husband's shirts to get dry cleaned and a couple of clothing items to get altered. Staff were friendly and kind. It's a rather small business, so you have to wait if there is someone ahead of you. I had quite a talker in front of me, so glad I wasn't in a total rush. Feels good that they are environmentally friendly. If you want things altered, you basically step aside into this area literally right by the front entrance, so while there are curtains, it doesn't feel super private, but they did the best they could with the space they do have. The items altered were spot on and to my liking, and comparable to other places in terms of cost. They accept credit card (not many places don't anymore, I guess lol), but no Apple Pay yet.
