This is a true story that I want to share. My husband, his name is Gil used to smoke since he was 9 years old; now he is 54, he always state that he was not going to quit his cigarettes for nothing. Well, almost 5 weeks ago, he start with a very bad coughing, I thought it was a regular cold, gave him some Mucinex to help get rid of the cold. It did not help at all, then one day we were at home, he could not breath, around his lips he was turning purple; I call 911 they send the crew, his blood pressure was extremely too high and unable to breath. They gave him a breathing treatment and took him to the ER. After several tests, he was admitted and diagnosed with COPD exacerbation, his lungs were collapsing and he was going to have a cardiac arrest at any time soon. After few days (still admitted in the hospital) the Doctor told me his lungs were not helping at all, his oxygen levels were still too low. He told me that unfortunately if that condition persist he will only have 2 weeks to life. Very upset, I ask the Dr. what could I do to help keeping him alive, the Dr. told me "To work on his lungs and to NEVER EVER HAVE A CIGARETTE AGAIN", it thought it was almost impossible for him and, I share that with the Dr. and he mention about the vapor cigarette, I laugh (did not believe in it) and, I state he will still be smoking. Dr. told me he stop smoking himself with it. Also, a nurse by the name of Regina advise me about this new healthy alternative. My husband, (Gil Acevedo) was discharge on August 22nd, with no hopes to life. Before I pick him up to go to the store I stop at Diamond Vapor, ask for the product and bought two (one for my husband and one for me) to be supportive. Pick him up from the hospital and show him what I got for both of us. Well to make a long story short, my husband had his 2nd. visit to his Primary Care Physician, he was amazed with the results, my husband did not touch a cigarette since 8/22/14 his appointment was on 9/3/14 and his oxygen has improved, does not have the wheezing and the Dr. told us that we would have him for a long time he is recuperating and we have him for a long time. I love Diamond Vapor and it is my Go To shop in the local area. Through out my stop smoking journey I have been to multiple shops in Jacksonville and Wilmington. They will always point you in the right direction even if it means directing you to another area shop. They seek to promote happy vapers and not just sell you things to increase their profits. I couldn't tell you how happy I was when I found Diamond Vapor after putting up with several sub-par e-cig shops in town. It was so nice to walk in and ask a question and actually get a knowledgeable response by some one who has a real understanding of everything the store offers, (which is not just hardware and juice) they also have a lounge area and a room behind the lounge set up to be a workstation for rebuilding atomizers and such. So you not only get expert advice on hardware and other accessories, you get an area to learn and have any of the experienced staff members help you with any atomizer rebuilding projects you've been trying to get the hang of. This is the best Vape store I have been to, hands down, in any city I've visited. I'm glad it's in my hometown. It's clean, the staff are knowledgeable, well stocked, comfortable to hang out in, and there's never one just one dude who looks like he just woke up stumbling out of the back treating you like he wished you weren't there. I had some serious issues with my vape but no other shop would help me out. That's when I stumbled upon this vape shop and met the most helpful gentleman who asked me a few simple questions and immediately knew the solution to my problem. He set me up with cheaper coils and my vape has been working like a charm ever since. The employees are so kind and their customer service is top-notch! By far this is the BEST place in Jacksonville for all things doing with vaping. The staff are amazing, very helpful, willing to take the time to show you want you are buying and how it works, also they are friendly and it's a fun experience. I could not say enough about how great my experience was with Diamond Vapor. Chad and his staff were ridiculously knowledgeable and helpful. It takes a great business to have an owner take time in the middle of the day (with 20 people in the store) to offer to take me into his shop to show me how to rebuild a coil. Mind you, I didn't even ask, Chad offered. I will not shop vape supplies anywhere else locally. Customer for life! My wife and I went there with a Vape we bought in another state and no one in town had anything for the wick that we had. So we changed out to something the local shops had... The two guys in there were VERY helpful and knew anything and everything as far as questions we had. Very good knowledge with these guys and Very good customer service. Highly recommend. This is our new shop. Inside décor is great as well. Go relax pick a flavor or devise and me and a couple boys can just chill and watch tv on the couches and try out our product before we leave. Cant speak highly enough. I first went in there years ago and Chad helped me find the right set up to get me off cigarettes. I've been off them ever since and feel 10x better. I also go in alot just to kill some time or hang out. They have couches and TV that always has some movie of TV playing. It's a nice place to hang out.xcellent place.
