I came in wanting to get my ring resized. They didn't charge me since it was their mistake that my ring was the size of a babies finger, so that was great. They told me it would be down in 12 days. 2 days before I need to pick it up, they called me at 9pm and told me that they are being charged $400 and tried to make me feel bad. I was livid. So I called customer service and they made them finish my ring at no charge. They were suppose to have it on that 12th day and they didn't have it for another week. They are all rude and disrespectful. WHO CALLS THEIR CUSTOMER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE STORES LOSS ACTING LIKE ITS THE CUSTOMERS FAULT??? It's their fault for not knowing their prices and giving false information. I hate this Kay. So anyways, don't go here if you want jewelry. Take the time to find another Kay Jeweler. The woman at the counter recommended a smaller size since I was between half sizes, and long story short it came back too small. They resized it to the correct size and charged me, which was fine. What was NOT fine was the fact that the resize was obvious-- it didn't even connect flush but one side was obviously higher than the other. I asked them to reshank it for me to make it so that the resizing was not noticeable, but they told me it would cost the full price for a resize. Basically they gave me bad advice (charged me), fixed it badly (charged me), and then wanted to charge me to repair the shoddy job. Bad business practices all around. Avoid this place and go to a real jeweler if you need a repair.

The pendant meant even more to me then it originally did. November 8 2018 the Campfire in Paradise Ca hit. I was awoken by my daughter telling me I needed to get out. I left my necklace in the chaos. I've broken so many chains while sleeping with it on I had taken it off. We have sifted through the property with no luck in finding it. I contacted Harris Jewelry just wanting to purchase a new one. I was obviously young and didn't know better, but their jewelry is ridiculously over priced. Anyway, there was a mix up with a payment while I was on a work-up in Yuma Arizona, and they gave me hell the whole time I was there, which was about a month in a half. Now this was from just one payment. I had to jump through hoops while in Yuma to fix this issue. Now I know that the payment was my responsibility, however this was one payment while on a work-up, where they decided to call and threaten to contact my command. Now fast forward to 2020, they just call me because they owe me money for over paying on my account in 2007. WTH. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL THREATEN YOU AND THEN CONTACT YOU 15 YEARS LATER TO TELL YOU THAT YOU OVER PAID. Harris Jewelers should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of young service members.
