My family and I attended the opening performance of the historic play, Ramona yesterday afternoon…read more They bragged a great deal about a new director they have employed for this season, but we believe he didn't do the show or the tradition any favors. Rather than the historically accurate and moving drama of the past, the new director seems to have changed the act into one heavily permeated with frivolity and foolishness. There was a great deal of what he called native dancing that was nothing more than many kids simply kicking their feet in the air. And the girl they have playing Ramona this season does not sing well yet they had her struggling to carry a tune more than once. The show was lightly attended, and I doubt that it will do much better for the few performances remaining.

There's karaoke I think every night which I'm not always in the mood for but we take that into consideration when we go. The Karaoke hosts are good and they double as DJ when nobody is singing. There is also a dance floor. Kaitlyn is a really good bartender and is the only one we've seen since we go on the weekend and I think that's her usual schedule. We want to try a comedy night here too. The food is pretty good too since the place is really more of a bar first rather than a restaurant. Good finger foods and sandwiches but they have a decent menu with lots to choose from. Also I want to mention that some "dive bars" feel unsafe to me but this place does not. We have been at least 5 times and everyone in there is just having a good time.

I have never line danced before so I was both nervous and excited. When the class started the young lady explained the dance steps and would have us follow then add on. I love the way they engaged us. I will be coming back on the 21st of July for the next class. It would be really nice if someone cleaned the tables, they feel really sticky. Whichever direction this restaurant has taken seems permanent. For three of us, we ordered spaghetti w/meatballs, meat lasagna and chicken Jerusalem. We also ordered sautéed mushrooms. We had it delivered via the Slice app. Aside from the lettuce in the salad, these meals had not one redeeming quality among them. Every single thing was vinegary and tasteless. Even the salad dressing was terrible. It was so watery that it was useless to even have on a salad. The bread was awful. The spaghetti actually made one of us ill. Thankfully the issue was lower GI versus upper. The meal was almost $100.00 which under normal circumstances I would expect to pay Dattilo's for but that meal wasn't worth one cent (well, five cents since they stopped making pennies) and the fact that all of it went in the trash and one of us became ill says everything. Unless there's some hidden secret on how to get a good meal here and you are aware of it, do not even chance this place. Very sad because this restaurant was, for a very long time, the best Italian restaurants in Hemet.
