Well worth the money and an amazing experience. The host were just fantastic. If you go during the winter, please remember to bundle up as it gets cold. Very educational. Highly recommend.

Go for the Tiger Experience. The food is not worth talking about. Somewhat over priced.

What a great hidden gem in Menifee. Friendly clubhouse…read morestaff greeted quickly and we were in and out ready to go. Full driving range (mats on weekends, grass weekdays). Really nice clubhouse, very nice restrooms, clean and stocked. Full bar and restaurant. First things all golfers like to know, can we take carts to parking lot. Nope. But there's a bag drop, so that makes things easier. Now about the carts. No GPS, but there are coolers (see the bar staff for ice), and no Bluetooth (I'm sure the surrounding homes appreciate this). Starter gets things going smoothly so you wont experience 10 minute wait times on tee boxes. Now for the course, it's really nice! Hazards, like trees and bunkers, keep things exciting but playable. The Palms course has water here and there, but easy to avoid, except for number 11. Greens roll true but fast and are very well maintained. Do yourself a favor and play here, great price, great fun, you wont be disappointed.

There are a lot of of new golfers and most doesn't keep or understand the pace of play. We ended up leaving and not play the back 9 because it's so painful to watch bad golfers. In addition to that, there are having golf cart shortage too, so everything is behind. I hope they do something about it. I took a photo of the 6 some and infront of them, is a 8-some..come on!

Free tacos at the turn -- such a fun and unexpected service perk that really hit the spot. We had several meals at the clubhouse during our stay, and overall the food was solid and the cocktails definitely delivered. That said, during peak times, service can slow down quite a bit -- something to keep in mind if you're on a tight schedule. We booked the stay & play package and made the most of it. By the fourth round (thanks to the free replays), we really got to know the course well. If you're striking it well off the tee and can read the greens, there are definitely scoring opportunities. But when the wind picks up, it adds a serious layer of difficulty -- so adjust expectations accordingly. All in all, a memorable trip and a course I'd absolutely recommend if you haven't played it yet.

My son flew in from Dallas, Texas for his birthday, and playing this beautiful desert layout was at the top of his list. One of the perks that sealed the deal was Rams Hill's generous birthday offer--free play after 12pm. A classy gesture from a course that's long been one of my favorites in Southern California. The only downside? It wasn't my birthday. With rates having climbed significantly, I did my best to convince my son to consider a more affordable option--maybe even something closer to home--but he held firm. He knew this course had always been high on my list, and he wanted to experience it for himself. As always, we were greeted with friendly smiles upon arrival. We warmed up on the range and soon met our starter, Don, who got us going. He mentioned the cart service running throughout the round and also let us in on a great surprise--complimentary street-style tacos on the 14th. That definitely raised some excitement. This course truly is a visual treat. The tee boxes were tidy, and the fairways--at least from the tee--looked lush and inviting. However, it didn't take long to notice something was off. Walking up to the first green, I couldn't help but say, "Yikes." The surface lacked the smoothness and softness I'd come to expect from past rounds here. I stayed optimistic, hoping it was just an isolated issue. Unfortunately, while the greens improved slightly as we went on, the fairways told a different story. Several holes had patchy or thin lies, and in some areas, it felt like we were hitting off very little grass at all. I found myself increasingly frustrated--not just because I had talked the course up so much to my son, but also because of the price point. When you're paying a premium, it's fair to expect conditions that match. On a positive note, the tacos at the 14th were excellent and a fun touch. However, we never saw the beverage cart for the entire round, which was surprising given it had been mentioned at the start. All in all, Rams Hill still holds a special place for me, but this visit was a letdown compared to past experiences. For now, it may come off my "must-play" recommendation list--at least until either the conditions improve or the pricing better reflects the current state of the course.
