First off I would like to say I own 3 diamondback ars, I love them, they shoot and cycle perfect. My issue is with the company itself. I bought a 7.69x39 upper with bolt carrier and charging handle, I received the upper with no bolt carrier and changing handle.( no problem it happens) so tried to call no answer, so I emailed them, got a reply apologizing, and that they would forward it to the online store department. Waited a few days no reply. Called a few more time finally talked to someone and said if they didn't reply he would have it shipped out the next Monday. OK perfect. Week goes by no bolt carrier. I email and get a response that they are sending bolt carrier out. I get the package and bolt carrier and charging handle are there. BOLT CARRIER IS FOR 556. I emailed them back thanked them for sending me a bolt carrier but it is the wrong one. At this point I am not sending it back and going through all the run around. I have ordered a new bolt carrier from another store. So now I own 4 Dimondback AR's. After reading some reviews, I see a few have had the same issue. I will no be ordering from that store again. Well I just finished cleaning my new DB9 GEN 4 I picked the gun up today and went right to the range. I shot off 50 rounds of Fiocchi 115 GR FMJ The gun is soooo Glock like. Just like my Glock 43, but much smaller and lighter. It was 100% reliable. It was a bit snappy, but who cares. sure beats carrying around a 380. Terrible service. Purchased a DB-10 in Dec of 16. The gun woudnt group better than 6 inches at 100yds. Called Diamondback and they said send the gun to them. I mailed the gun on 1/22/17 Almost 7 months and no gun. Excuse after excuse(and not good ones) finally offered me a refund the other day with the receipt which i am having issues finding. Purchased a new DB9 Gen 4 and upon first use the gun would not feed 85% of the time. Couldn't fire more than 2 rounds without jamming. Used two different quality ammo but same problem. This was going to be my every day carry but I have no confidence in the gun. I've been waiting on a resolution for over two weeks and still waiting. I would much prefer writing a glowing review of both the company and the new Gen 4 but can't. read more

Buyer beware! From product to customer service it's less than a 1-star. Purchased a DB-10 Jan19 and immediately experienced jams right out of the box. Sent it back 1/25/19 for repairs and still have not received the firearm back as of this review (3/30/19). They assure you 4-6wks -- I'm rolling into week 9 and still waiting. Customer service is extremely poor. They market their products on a great looking website but don't be fooled with their smoke screen effect. Do not buy their products. Complete junk. Crappy customer service. I have a DB380 that won't fire more than two shots without jamming. I e-mailed them and they agreed to fix it so I sent it to them for repair. After about six weeks I received my gun back but it still jammed all the time, the problem wasn't fixed. I e-mailed them again to let them know I was still having trouble and they tried to blame the problem on me. Now they are completely ignoring me. They make the worst piece of garbage firearms on earth and possibly beyond. I purchased a .380 caliber handgun from them it never worked it jammed wouldn't feed just a train wreck. Now remember this product is made as a defensive weapon if you were in a tight situation and the only way was out would be to pull this gun can you imagine how your life would be at risk if the thing didn't work when you needed it. They have a great customer service department friendly but does absolutely nothing for you promises are made and canceled. I have a question for anyone who has sent a firearm back. I recently bought a new DB10 and on the first round had a light strike. The story continued with 3 more light strikes, bolt locked up 3 times and I had two hang fires. I sent the gun in and hadn't heard anything so I called the main number asking for follow up. They called me back quickly and the lady I spoke to was nice. She said it could take 5-8 weeks to get my firearm back and that I should call near the end of the month to get an update. Is this normal for their customer service? I would have called the customer the day the firearm arrived in the factory to get more information and to do damage control for this barrage of issues on the first range day, then shipped a new firearm. I would much rather do customer service and secure a future customer vs risk any bad experience with my firearm. But instead I heard that the gunsmith was busy with a new DB9 line of firearms and that it could take 5-8 weeks. I'm not too concerned about their new line, I just want their current line to be supported. Has anyone had the same or is this a uncommon experience? read more

Purchased DB380 on recommendation from friend / retired police officer. The pistol fired once and jammed. Fired again, jammed, did not fire next time but upon inspection of bullet found that firing pin had dented round. Not one successful firing of magazine. Had Gun shop inspect and they said gun was defective. Did not settle for sending to repair. I insisted the Gun shop take it back and on buying a different pistol. The Ruger LCP. Had to buy a pin lock cause it continued to happen. I would recommend it but that's an issue that I hope I'm the only one that had it. I'm a person who's business is 100% focused on customer service I truly think that regardless of cost, there is still value in good customer service. That being said, I've purchased numerous firearms, and have had issues with faulty purchases several times, for various reasons. Most of the time, the process of sending back for repairs has been just fine and customer service had been fantastic. In this day and age with technology we are fortunate enough to research various items before purchasing in order to make good consumer decisions. Companies that stand behind their products, tend to be companies I will be a lifetime consumer of. Of course, there is always an exception and always an impulse purchase, and I wish I would have researched Diamondback, as my decision would have been drastically different. I purchased my Diamondback at a gun show at the end of November 2016, as is was specifically looking for a 308. I had some brands in mind that I have bought from before and trusted, but on impulse purchases the diamondback. I was impressed by what appeared to be a good quality gun. I did a quick search and read some reviews, but apparently didn't dig deep enough. I expect there to be some bad reviews, but expect the company to solve the issues in a timely matter, as most good companies do. A few days later, my father in law (an avid gun collector) and I were at the range, and I was exited to test out the 308. Upon firing three rounds, it jammed and damaged the bullet. I figured it was a fluke. I tried to run several more rounds through, when it became apparent this was happening every three rounds. I then tried a variety of different ammo, and still no change. I proceeded to check the general components to see if I could find the issue, as I've broken down and repaired several of my own guns. However since the gun was still under warranty, I decided to call Diamondback to send it in for repairs. This is where my issue starts. I called 5 times before I got to speak to a live person. The call recording just keeps circling and if you leave a voicemail nobody calls back. After several days I persistent calling, I finally got a hold of someone who gave me instructions on how to send it in for repairs. I sent the gun in for repair on 3/6 with a tracking number. I saw on my end it was delivered on 3/9, but no one called to tell me they got it, or to discuss the issue in order to fix it. I called at least 10 more times with no answer. I finally got an email address and sent a note asking for an update. the response only said "we received the firearm and will need a couple of weeks to repair. Will send shipping notification when it is done". I waited three weeks, no shipping info. So I emailed again, and was told the machine was down, they need a few more weeks, and will send shipping info. Sounds like a BS excuse to me. So now, I'm wondering, did I get scammed? Will I ever get my gun back from these assholes? It's been over a month, still no shipping info and no confirmed completion date. Now, I realize you get what you pay for and this gun wasn't the most expensive in the world, but it wasn't the cheapest either. I expect diamondback to stand behind their product and at a minimum answer their phones, and give commitment dates to those who keep their company making money. I will never buy another Diamondback, and I will not ever recommend them. In fact, next time I see someone buying one, I will share my terrible experience. I'll keep you Yelp users updated daily until I finally get my gun back, if I ever actually do. read more

I bought one of the "new and improved" versions of their db9 pistols and it was a lemon out of the box...literally the 2nd shot failed to feed properly. 8 out of 10 rounds out of the 150 rounds i tried to fire after that jammed. The worst part of it all is their customer service lies to you about everything. They told me 8 weeks is the normal turnaround time so far it has been 19 weeks and at week 17 i was fed up and called in and they told me it would ship out on week 18.....didnt ship.....called again , promised it would ship out on week 19...didnt ship again this week! Bottom line is if you want a gun that fires one round and has to be returned after owning it for a week , and to boot im almost certain it wont work right IF i ever get it back....yeah...go ahead and buy one of these huge piles of shit. read more

My overall experience with diamondback firearms has been positive. I currently have a db9 and db9 full size. I have had the db380 as well but sold it due to inconsistent function of the firearm. I never did call diamondback on the problem with the .380 so it may had been repaired if I had. Like any manufacture I think you can have a defect. My other 2 9mm that I own currently have had around 500 rounds each with really no problems. For some reason have had a slight issue with the db9 magazine release wearing but diamondback returned my call the same day and has sent me a new one at no charge. I have heard mixed reviews about the company but​ my experience has been positive so far. Customer service has been good and very polite. Maybe people do not want to leave a message because I hear they do not answer the phone but so what leave a message. Send your warranty papers in and do not complain when a company does not honor the warranty if you do not do your part as described by the warranty to be honored. I think these are the basis for alot of the negative remarks on the internet about them. I say look at one and if you like it don't be affraid to buy it. read more

I just bought a brand new DB10. Straight out of the box it was a piece of garbage. It functioned properly less than 30% of the time. Then....it blew the gas tube straight out the front of the gun all the way to the muzzle. Awesome. My (NIB) DBFS9 is a total piece of junk right out of the box. I put 50 rounds through it and it had multiple problems making it entirely useless. Diamondback rarely answers their phone during their crappy business hours. I sent my POS back to them and I'm currently waiting their "8-12 week repair time" to get it back.
