(Car sales vibe) The owner Mike understood I wanted to get something specific and was willing to help even though I wasn't dropping $ at his place during the moment. Here's an update on my prior review. I had to return the shotgun due to a manufacturing defect. At the same time I dropped off a Kimberly pistol to have the sight repaired or replaced. Now several weeks later i called to check the status of the repair. I'm told, it's on the gunsmith's bench. When I asked what that meant I was told he must have been doing me a favor since he's so backed up with work. I didn't realize giving a gunsmith business required him to do customers a favor to actually do the job! Maybe I'll return the favor and actually pay for his work. Rob just finished my custom build ar-15 lower. I took it to the range today and was grinning from ear to ear. I got the Freedom Arms lower with a binary trigger installed and everyone at the range was in awe. I don't that they had seen one there before, but I know a range officer that now wants one. I Just returned from freedom guns and had a very bad experience. I am a returning customer. They would not honor a deal the owner had made less than 24 hours ago! Two people in the store, and one was there the day before when the owner made me the offer on a gun I wanted to get credit for, towards the purchase of a new Sig Sauer P365. When I came back today, to purchase the Sig Sauer P365, they had just promised it to someone else, and did not want to talk to me about it! The entire attitudes of both, especially from one salesman, I had not met before, was basically, "too bad, get out of the store" When I ask him to call the owner that made the deal, he yelled at me "he is in a class and I am not calling" I said this is BS and I am talking to the owner and writing a critical review of this crap, his answer was "Knock yourself out!' WOW! not a very customer oriented salesperson. These two Freedom Guns Employees did not care about honoring a deal, the owner had made, tried to ignore me, and where exceptionally rude. I buy 3 or so guns a year from stores I like. I would suggest anyone that cares about being treated with respect and fairness, to go to another store that honors their word and cares about their repeat customers! I drove 15 minutes, got the gun I wanted, and paid $10 more for a lot better service!
